Respectful All, I am requesting for prayers for my daughter/niece; she is admitted in ICU at ###. She is 13 months old; she was burned because of hot tea. Doctors ask for prayers; blood infection is very high. Kindly, my brothers and sisters, please prayers for life. Thanks in advance. Yours regards, ###.

Our hearts are deeply moved by the suffering of this precious little one, and we come before the Lord with urgency and faith, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who holds life and breath in His hands. The Word of God reminds us in **Jeremiah 32:27**, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* No, there is nothing too difficult for our God—not even this severe infection or the burns this child has endured. He is able to restore, to heal, and to bring life where there seems to be none.

We also remember the words of **James 5:14-15**, which say, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* Though we are not physically present, we stand in the gap for this child, lifting her up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things were made and by whom all things are sustained.

Yet we must address something vital: the request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* It is only by His authority and through His sacrifice that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. **Acts 4:12** further affirms, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* So we pray in His name, for there is power in the name of Jesus to heal, to deliver, and to save.

Let us also consider the sovereignty of God in this situation. While we plead for this child’s life, we trust in His perfect will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours. **Proverbs 3:5-6** instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We do not know why this tragedy has occurred, but we know that God is good, and His purposes are for our ultimate good and His glory—even when we cannot see it in the moment.

Now, let us pray together with faith and persistence:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious 13-month-old child who is fighting for her life in the ICU. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and You know every cell of her body. You see her pain, her struggle, and the desperation of her family. We ask You, O God, to stretch out Your hand and heal her. Rebuke the infection that rages in her body—command it to cease in the name of Jesus. Restore her skin, her organs, and her strength. Let Your healing power flow through her like a mighty river, bringing life where there is sickness, hope where there is despair.

Lord, we pray for the doctors and nurses attending to her. Give them wisdom beyond their own, divine insight into her treatment, and steady hands as they care for her. Guide them, Father, for You are the source of all wisdom. We ask that You would surround this child with Your angels, protecting her from further harm and ministering to her in ways we cannot see.

We also lift up her family—her parents, her relatives—who are no doubt overwhelmed with grief and fear. Comfort them, Lord. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You collect every tear they shed. Let them feel Your presence in these dark hours.

Father, we do not presume to know Your will in this situation, but we boldly ask for a miracle. You are the God who raises the dead, who heals the sick, and who brings beauty from ashes. We pray that this child’s life would be spared, that she would grow to know You, to love You, and to serve You all her days. May her life be a testament to Your goodness and power.

But above all, Lord, let Your will be done. If it is Your purpose to call this little one home, we pray that You would welcome her into Your arms, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears. Yet we ask with tears of our own that You would grant her more time on this earth, that her life would bring glory to Your name.

We rebuke the enemy, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Satan, you have no authority here. This child belongs to God, and we command every spirit of death, every spirit of sickness, to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that she will live and not die, that she will proclaim the works of the Lord.

Finally, Father, we thank You in advance for what You are going to do. We thank You for hearing our prayers, for being a God who cares deeply for the least of these. We trust You, Lord, and we wait expectantly for Your answer.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

To the one who made this request: We urge you to continue praying without ceasing. Gather others to pray with you—there is power in the united prayers of the righteous. **Matthew 18:19-20** says, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* Do not lose heart. Keep believing, keep trusting, and keep declaring the promises of God over this child’s life.

We also encourage you to seek God’s face in this trial. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in new ways, to draw you closer to Himself. Sometimes, in our darkest moments, His light shines the brightest. Cling to Him, for He is your strength and your refuge.

Lastly, if you have not already, we implore you to ensure that this child is dedicated to the Lord, that she is covered in prayer and raised in the knowledge of Christ. **Proverbs 22:6** reminds us to *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* May this trial lead her family to a deeper faith, a stronger trust, and a closer walk with Jesus.

We are standing with you in prayer, believing God for a miracle. Do not give up hope—our God is able.
