Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.
We thank God with you for who He is and for all He has done, and we ask with you for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Scripture promises that if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously without reproach, and it will be given. We pray that God will grant you a clear mind, a discerning heart, and understanding to walk in His will day by day, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.
We also bring before the Lord your needs for provision for you and your family, for restoration and time with your children, and for a car, a house and clothing. We pray that God, who knows what you need before you ask, will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, as you have prayed. We ask that He would open a way, in His perfect timing and manner, for you to be reunited with your children and to see your family, and that He would grant peace, protection and grace to each of them.
As we pray for provision, we remember also what Scripture teaches about provision. We are told not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to make provision for what is needed for health and for a sober life, while spending our chief care on spiritual things. This does not mean God begrudges His children clothing or shelter or daily bread. He clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows and knows our need for these things. It does mean we are to prune away what kindles wantonness and covetousness, and to seek health and necessity rather than excess, trusting that the present life is passing and that true riches are those that remain. So we pray not only for a car, a house and clothes, but for contentment, stewardship and a heart kept from covetousness, that whatever God provides will be used for health, for service, for the care of your family, and for His glory.
Therefore we pray, Father in heaven, grant this dear one wisdom from above, provision for daily needs, work for his hands, shelter and clothing according to Your mercy, and above all a deeper trust in Christ. Bring restoration where there has been separation, guard the children, heal what is broken in the family, and make a way for them to be together as You will. Keep this family from anxiety and draw them to find their sufficiency in You, growing in faith, love and holiness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
