We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for employment, knowing that He is our Provider and the One who opens doors no man can shut. It is written in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust in His perfect timing and sovereign plan, for He knows the desires of our hearts and the work He has prepared in advance for this individual to walk in.
Yet we must also address something vital—this prayer was not submitted in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Let this be a reminder that our prayers must be rooted in faith in Jesus, for apart from Him, we can do nothing.
Now, we pray earnestly for this person’s employment. Lord, You see the need, the skills, and the heart behind this request. Guide them to the right opportunity—one that aligns with Your will and brings glory to Your name. Open doors that no one can close, and close those that are not of You. Provide favor with employers, wisdom in decisions, and perseverance in the search. May this job not only meet financial needs but also be a platform for sharing Your love and truth.
We also pray for contentment in this season of waiting, remembering **Proverbs 3:5-6**: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let this time of seeking be a testimony of faith, trusting that You, Lord, are working all things for good.
Finally, we encourage this individual to seek the Lord first in all things. If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we urge them to repent and place their faith in Him alone for salvation. **Romans 10:9** says, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater security than being found in Christ.
Father, we commit this request to You, asking that Your will be done in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
