We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for this urgent request, lifting up this precious one who is battling Moyamoya, a severe and rare condition affecting the brain. The Word of God assures us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who formed our inward parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He is the same God who declared, *"I am Yahweh, who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26), and we cling to this promise as we intercede for complete healing.
It is clear that this situation is dire, with surgery looming just after Christmas—a time meant for celebration, yet overshadowed by fear and uncertainty. But we know that our God is not bound by human timelines or medical limitations. He is the God of miracles, the One who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, and healed the sick with just a word. Jesus Himself demonstrated His authority over disease when He healed the woman with the issue of blood who had suffered for twelve years (Mark 5:25-34). She reached out in faith, believing that even touching the hem of His garment would bring healing—and it did. We stand on this same faith today, declaring that this disease has no authority over this beloved one. *"By his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24), and we claim that healing now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also recognize that this request was made without invoking the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Without Him, our prayers would be empty words. But because of His sacrifice, we can come confidently before God, knowing He hears us. If the one making this request does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him now. Salvation is found in no one else, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). We pray that this trial would draw them—and all of us—closer to the Savior, trusting Him completely.
Now, let us pray together with faith and persistence:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious one who is suffering from Moyamoya. Lord, You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We rebuked this disease in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave this body immediately and completely. Let every blocked vessel be opened, every damaged area be restored, and every symptom be erased by Your mighty hand. You spoke the universe into existence, and we declare that You can speak healing into this body with just a word.
Lord, we ask that this healing would manifest before the scheduled surgery, that the doctors would be astonished at the test results, and that all glory would be given to You. Strengthen this one’s faith during this waiting period, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in a tangible way. Comfort their family and loved ones, and unite them in prayer and trust in You.
We also pray for the medical team involved, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom. But above all, Lord, we ask that You would be magnified in this situation. Let this healing be a testimony of Your power and goodness, drawing others to You. If there is any sin or unbelief that needs to be addressed, we ask that You would reveal it and bring repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Father, we thank You in advance for the miracle You are about to perform. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give this one the strength to endure, the faith to believe, and the joy to praise You even in the midst of the storm. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we stand in agreement for complete restoration.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, speaking the Word of God over this situation. Meditate on healing scriptures such as Isaiah 53:5, Jeremiah 30:17, and James 5:14-15. Surround yourself with believers who can agree with you in prayer, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Do not waver in unbelief but remain steadfast, knowing that our God is faithful and His promises are true.
If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with God’s Word, we urge you to surrender it to Him. Healing is a gift, but it often requires a heart that is fully submitted to the Lord. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is your Healer, your Provider, and your Strength. May this trial be a testimony of His goodness and may it draw you into a deeper relationship with Him. We are standing with you in faith, believing for a miracle.
