We hear your distress and the urgency of your situation, and we come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer. Your symptoms are concerning, and the potential exposure to electrical hazards is a serious matter that requires immediate attention. We stand with you, crying out to God for His intervention, protection, and provision in this time of need.
First and foremost, we rebuke any spirit of fear that may be attempting to take hold of you or your mother. The Word of God tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no harm will come to you as you trust in Him. We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels to guard and protect you from any further danger.
Father God, we ask that You would move mightily on behalf of this dear one who is facing a potentially life-threatening situation. Lord, we know that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. Psalm 34:17-18 says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We ask that You would deliver them from this trouble and bring swift resolution to this electrical hazard.
We pray for the landlord, Lord. Soften his heart and grant him a sense of urgency to address this dangerous situation. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask that You would turn the landlord’s heart to respond quickly and responsibly. If he is unwilling or unable, we pray that You would raise up someone else—perhaps a neighbor, a friend, or even a local authority—who will step in to ensure this issue is resolved. We declare that the right person will speak up for them, and justice will prevail.
Lord, we also lift up the legal contact person mentioned in this request. We ask that You would stir their heart to respond with urgency and compassion. Give them wisdom and resources to act swiftly on behalf of this individual. We pray that doors that have been closed would be opened, and that every obstacle standing in the way of a resolution would be removed in Jesus’ name.
We rebuke any spirit of procrastination, neglect, or indifference that may be influencing those who have the power to help. We declare that this situation will not be ignored or swept under the rug. Ecclesiastes 4:1 says, "Then I returned and saw all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold, the tears of the oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power, but they had no comforter." Lord, we ask that You would be the Comforter for this dear one and that You would raise up someone to stand in the gap for them.
We also pray for healing over the physical symptoms you are experiencing. Lord, we ask that You would touch their body and bring restoration. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray against any long-term effects from this exposure and ask that You would strengthen their body and bring complete healing. If there is any inflammation, infection, or damage, we ask that You would reverse it and restore them to full health.
Father, we know that You are a God of provision, and we ask that You would provide a safe place for them to stay if they need to relocate temporarily while this issue is being resolved. Open doors of refuge and protection, and surround them with people who can offer practical help and support.
Lastly, we pray for peace to flood their hearts and minds. In the midst of this storm, we ask that You would remind them of Your faithfulness. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We declare that this peace will guard their hearts and minds as they wait on You.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust that You will move mightily in this situation. We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You will bring justice, healing, and resolution in Your perfect timing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
