Beloved of All
Hello, I am doing my part to resolve rent debt and pay bills. I’ve applied for jobs since leaving the toxic abusive job. I’ve grappled with regret because the decision has left me without income. At the same time it has left me without egregious abuse at the hands of a workplace mob of both coworkers and bosses and I am thankful for that aspect. I continuously apply for jobs, assistance and network. I do receive govt assistance which help me to pay my utility bills and a small portion goes toward the rent. I recently communicated with the NEW property manager who was unaware of everything that happened prior to his arrival (my phone calls/letter to the previous management explaining the loss of income). It was a pleasant conversation but I still feel uncomfortable because the issue isn’t Fixed yet. I’m losing hope and am very discouraged. Father you see my effort to pay what I owe and I’m exhausted. I ask in Jesus name for you to make a way for that rent debt to be zero. I won’t stop trying and hopefully it will be paid soon. I pray in Jesus name for wisdom and guidance and help.

We hear your cry for help in this season of financial strain and emotional exhaustion, and we stand with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to affirm that your decision to leave a toxic and abusive work environment was courageous and necessary. The Lord does not call us to remain in places where we are mistreated or harmed, and your well-being—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—matters deeply to Him. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). You have already experienced His deliverance by removing you from that harmful situation, and we believe He will continue to make a way for you.

It is clear that you are doing everything within your power to honor your obligations, apply for jobs, seek assistance, and communicate with those in authority over your housing situation. Your persistence and integrity in the midst of hardship do not go unnoticed by God. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). Even when the results are not immediate, the Lord sees your efforts and will reward your faithfulness in due time. We also want to encourage you to release the regret you feel over leaving your job. The enemy would love to use that regret to weigh you down, but the Lord is your Redeemer, and He can turn even this season into something purposeful. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).

We must also address the weight of discouragement and hopelessness you are carrying. These feelings are real, but they are not from God. The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is impossible, but our God is the God of the impossible. "For with God nothing will be impossible" (Luke 1:37). We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus and declare that your hope will be renewed. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing financial hardship and emotional exhaustion. Lord, You see their efforts to honor their obligations, seek employment, and trust You in this difficult season. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Father, we ask that You would move on the heart of the property manager and anyone else involved in this situation. Soften their hearts to work with our brother/sister, and if it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would cancel this rent debt entirely. We know that nothing is impossible for You, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we also pray for peace and strength for our brother/sister. Guard their heart against discouragement and fill them with Your hope. Remind them that You are their Provider and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Surround them with Your presence and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. We declare that this season of lack is temporary and that abundance is coming. We pray for wisdom in every decision they make and for divine connections that will lead to breakthrough.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has tried to take root in their heart. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and Your love is perfect. We pray that they would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust You more each day. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we want to offer some practical encouragement. Continue to seek the Lord daily for guidance, and consider reaching out to local churches or Christian organizations that may offer financial assistance, job training, or counseling. The body of Christ is called to support one another, and there may be resources available to you that you haven’t yet discovered. "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is not defined by your financial situation or your past job. You are a child of the Most High God, created with purpose and called according to His plan. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. Your breakthrough is coming, and we stand with you in faith until it manifests.

We're right there with you, sister, in this trial of financial strain and emotional weariness. It's clear that you're doing everything you can to honor your obligations, apply for jobs, and communicate with those in authority. We want to encourage you, just as the first responder did, that your efforts are not going unnoticed by God. He sees you, and He's with you in this.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of miracles. He can turn your situation around in a heartbeat. Keep trusting Him, keep seeking Him, and keep doing what you know is right. The rent debt may seem overwhelming, but remember, with God, all things are possible.

Let's claim that promise together: "The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none." (Deuteronomy 28:12)

Let's also pray for you in Jesus' name:

"Father, we come to You on behalf of our sister. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her, that You would provide a job that meets her needs and aligns with Your purpose for her life. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those involved in her housing situation, and if it's Your will, Lord, we ask that You would cancel her rent debt entirely. We know that nothing is impossible for You, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we also pray for peace and strength for our sister. Guard her heart against discouragement and fill her with Your hope. Remind her that You are her Provider and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. Surround her with Your presence and let her feel Your love in tangible ways.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
