Renewed strength

Beloved of All
Asking for prayers for renewed strength and resilience to face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, in Jesus name amen

We join you in lifting up this deep need for renewed strength and resilience as you face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We know that the wounds of abuse and trauma run deep and can leave the heart weary and overwhelmed, but we serve a God who sees, who draws near, and who heals. We are reminded that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. When the burden feels too heavy to carry, we can come to the Rock that is higher than we are, for when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2.

The strength you are asking for does not have to come from your own resolve alone, for God promises to supply what we lack. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29. And those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31. We cling also to His promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord daily through prayer and His Word, and to remain connected to safe and godly community, such as a trusted pastor or biblical counselor, who can walk with you in this healing journey. Resilience is not about never feeling weak, but about allowing Christ’s power to rest on us in our weakness, for He has said, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9. So we can say with confidence, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13.

We pray together now for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your will to be done in their life. Lord, You know the pain and trauma that has been endured and the ongoing struggles that still weigh heavily. We ask that You pour out renewed strength where there is exhaustion, and resilience where there is weariness. Uphold them with Your righteous right hand and lead them to the Rock that is higher. Heal the broken heart and bind up every wound, Lord, and let Your nearness be felt in a powerful way. Replace fear with Your perfect peace and let Your grace be sufficient for each day. Help them to wait on You and to mount up with wings like eagles, to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. We ask that You surround them with Your protection, with wise and compassionate support, and with the assurance that they are deeply loved and never forsaken. We trust You to complete the healing work You have begun. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this honest request. Asking for renewed strength while you are still carrying the effects of abuse and trauma takes courage, and we hear how heavy this season has felt.

We want you to know we are praying for you to have fresh strength for each day, not all at once but in steady, sustainable ways. What has helped many who have walked through similar struggles is learning that resilience is not simply a trait you either have or lack. It grows through small, learnable thoughts, actions, and connections, and God is intimately present in that process. It is often forged through the hard road itself, not apart from it.

One of the most protective parts of that growth is relationship. Having even one safe, caring person who listens well and stays consistent can make a real difference in rebuilding confidence and a sense of steadiness. If you do not already have that support, we gently encourage you to reach out to one trusted pastor, counselor, or support person, alongside prayer, and to consider a Christian counselor who understands trauma if the struggles feel ongoing. You do not have to sort through this alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. We ask for Your nearness, for renewed strength for today, for wisdom and safe support around them, and for gentle healing in the places that still hurt. Lead them step by step and remind them they are seen and valued by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for renewed strength in the midst of ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with earnest prayer on your behalf.

Human strength, as the prophet declares, will spend itself in due time. Though a man had the strength of a lion, he would one day fail, for all strength apart from God is but derived strength and must come to an end. Many who have suffered as you have suffered know what it is to have no might left, to feel faint and utterly wearied. To such the promise is given, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, Isaiah 40:31. And again it is written, He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. This is your hope, not in the resilience of your own spirit, but in the inexhaustible omnipotence of God, who Himself says, I will strengthen them in the Lord.

There is healing also for the wounded heart. The Lord healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. The least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and those leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. So long as you trust in Christ alone, you shall find a glorious salvation, for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

We pray for you now.

O Lord our God, who art the glory of our strength, look in mercy upon this afflicted one who has endured abuse and trauma. Thou seest the wounds that others cannot see and Thou knowest the weariness of nights and days spent in struggle. Give renewed strength according to Thy promise, not as the world giveth, but as Thou alone canst give. Lift up this weary soul that waits upon Thee, that they may mount up with wings as eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. Spread the healing leaves of Christ over this broken heart, bring pardon and healing in one, and let the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings. Teach this dear soul to fling itself upon Thy divine strength when no strength remains, and to find in Thee a refuge and a present help. Sustain in the ongoing trial, grant resilience day by day, and restore in Thy good time that which has been wounded. Keep this one near to Christ, rooted in Thy Word, and surrounded by faithful and safe help. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer. Amen.

Your request for renewed strength in the face of abuse and trauma has been heard, and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord.

God sees what you have endured and He does not turn away from those who are wounded. Scripture says the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, and that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Your desire to keep going and to find resilience in Christ is itself a sign of His grace at work in you.

Healing after abuse and trauma is often not instant, but gradual, like a physician who applies medicine faithfully until health returns. Do not be discouraged if strength does not return all at once. As you continue to hear the Word, to pray, to walk with faithful believers, and to seek wise and safe counsel and support in the church, God can renew you step by step. Even when progress feels slow, each act of turning to Him is not wasted. He is able to restore and to help you lay hold of the life and hope He promises in Christ.

We are praying for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son through whom alone we find salvation and healing. You know the pain of abuse and the weight of trauma that remains. We ask You to be their refuge and protector, to surround them with safety, and to grant renewed strength for each day. Give resilience when the struggles feel ongoing, peace when memories and fear arise, and wisdom for every step toward healing. Help them to rest in Your love, to be upheld by Your Word, and to be supported by trustworthy people who will walk with them faithfully. Restore what has been broken and make them strong in You, that they may know Your nearness and Your power made perfect in weakness. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Please continue to stay connected to a local church where you can receive ongoing pastoral care and, if you are in danger or need additional support, reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or safe person near you. You are not alone, and we will continue to pray for your renewal and protection.
