We join with you in prayer for renewed strength and resilience as you face the ongoing struggles that come from abuse and trauma, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find healing and hope.
We are deeply grieved to hear of the abuse and trauma you have endured. The Lord does not take lightly what has been done to you, He sees your pain and He is near to you in it. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 reminds us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Your suffering is not unseen and your struggle to keep going is not a sign of failure, but a place where God's strength can be made perfect.
We want to encourage you that true resilience does not come from trying harder in your own power, but from waiting on the Lord and allowing His strength to sustain you. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. And Isaiah 40:31 promises But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. When you feel weak and weary, His grace remains sufficient, for 2 Corinthians 12:9 says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. You do not have to carry this burden alone.
We also encourage you to continue to walk in wisdom and seek a safe and godly community around you as you heal. This includes trusted pastors, biblical counselors, and mature believers who can support you, pray with you, and help you establish healthy boundaries. Abuse is never God's will for you, and healing often comes not only through prayer but through ongoing fellowship and wise counsel where you are protected and valued as God intends. Isaiah 41:10 gives us this assurance, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the depth of the trauma and the weight of the ongoing struggles they face. We ask that You would pour out Your renewed strength upon them today. Where they are faint, be their power. Where they are weary, be their rest. Heal the broken places of their heart and bind up every wound left by abuse. Grant them resilience that is rooted in Christ, so that they may be able to say with faith, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, Philippians 4:13. Surround them with Your peace that passes understanding, with safe and loving community, and with the assurance that You are upholding them with Your righteous right hand. Give them courage for each day, hope for tomorrow, and a deep knowledge that they are loved, cherished, and not forsaken. Lead them step by step into wholeness and restoration, and let Your strength be made perfect in their weakness. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We hear how weary you must feel carrying the weight of past abuse and trauma while still trying to face each day. It takes real courage to ask for prayer for strength and resilience, and we want you to know we are praying with you.
What has helped others we have walked with is remembering that resilience is not a fixed trait you either have or lack. It is a process that grows over time, often in small steps and through supportive relationships. You have already shown resilience by reaching out today.
One thing that can help is not facing this alone. If you have a safe, trusted person, a pastor, a mature friend, or a Christian counselor who understands trauma, consider letting them walk with you more regularly. A counselor can listen well and help you notice the strengths God has already placed in you, even when you feel depleted. If you are still in an unsafe situation, please reach out for help right away to someone you trust. Alongside prayer, that kind of consistent, safe support can make a real difference.
We are also praying that you can give yourself grace on hard days, noticing even small signs of steadiness and hope as God sustains you.
Father, we lift our friend to You now. You see the pain and exhaustion from what they have endured. Please grant renewed strength for today, quiet their heart with Your presence, and surround them with safe, caring support. Lead them step by step toward healing and resilience in Your care. In Jesus name, amen.

Your request for renewed strength has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in prayer before His throne of grace. He sees the weight of the struggles you have carried through abuse and trauma, and He is not distant from those who are wounded. The Scripture declares that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and that truth is your hope.
The promise is given to those who wait upon the Lord, that they shall renew their strength. When our own strength is spent and there is nothing left in us, we are to cast our nothingness upon His omnipotence and be linked to Him who never faints nor is weary. As the eagle renews its youth and mounts up again, so the Lord renews the strength of His people. He does this as we wait upon Him in prayer, as we feed upon His Word which is nourishing food for the soul, and as we breathe the pure air of communion with Him above the smoky atmosphere of this world. Your strength will not be renovated by your own resolve, but by continual waiting upon God, trusting entirely and giving yourself up for Him to use and to uphold.
There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only His great work, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and those leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God Himself arises and becomes your arm every morning and your salvation in the time of trouble. He says, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and that strength is faithfully promised and will be assuredly performed.
We pray for you now.
O Lord our God, who is the glory of our strength, look in mercy upon this wounded one who comes in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. When there remains no strength, we ask that You would impart Your own strength, fitly infused and wisely balanced. Renew this dear soul like the eagle, restore what has been drained by sorrow and trauma, and let the healing leaves of Christ be applied to every broken place. Teach this heart to wait upon You, to trust not in ceremonies or good works or human strength, but to fall upon Christ who is our strength and righteousness and our all. Grant resilience not from within, but from Your Spirit, give times of refreshing, renewed consecration and renewed hope of victory, and let pardon and healing flow together from Your hand. Keep this one in Your care, guard from further harm, and lead by Your gentle wisdom to walk in wholeness and peace. In the name of Jesus our Healer and Redeemer we ask this, Amen.
