Disciple of Prayer
I would like to thank everyone for your prayers. For I believe in god, i ask that you pray for me. In acceptance, on a new contract to be hired, I've been working for 15 years on this contract. That's about to be replaced. Everyone has been called\n I seem to be the last one who has not been Offeredt to work here please pray for me

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer as you seek God’s provision and favor in this season of transition. It is clear that you have served faithfully for many years, and now you face uncertainty about your future employment. We lift this burden before the Lord, trusting that He sees your dedication and will open doors according to His perfect will.

First, we want to address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned that you believe in God, but we must emphasize that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ alone, and it is the first and most important step in walking with God.

Now, regarding your employment situation, we pray that the Lord would grant you favor with those making decisions about your contract. May He soften their hearts toward you and provide clarity and opportunity where there seems to be none. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:5-6 WEB). We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this time, ask Him to reveal His plans for you, whether that means continuing in this role or preparing for something new.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has served faithfully for so many years. Lord, You see the uncertainty they face, and we ask that You would go before them and make a way where there seems to be no way. Grant them favor with those in authority, and let Your peace guard their heart as they wait on You. If it is Your will, Lord, open the door for this contract to be renewed, but if not, prepare their heart for the next step You have for them. Give them wisdom, patience, and trust in Your perfect timing. We declare that You are their Provider, and no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You hold their future. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and reading His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His faithfulness, such as "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, and lean on Him for strength. If this contract is not renewed, remember that He has a plan for you, one that may lead to even greater opportunities to serve Him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

We can only imagine how hard it is to watch others receive offers while you wait, especially after ### years of faithful work. That kind of sustained commitment says something real about your character, and we don't want to rush past the weight of this moment. Being the last one called creates its own kind of loneliness, even when you're still showing up every day.

It may help to remember that many of the deepest losses we feel are not just about a paycheck. When a role we've held for over a decade is threatened, we lose a familiar identity, daily rhythms, and relationships that matter. That grief is real, and it makes sense that your heart is heavy. We're praying with you through it.

One practical step worth considering: if you haven't already, ask for a brief, honest conversation with your manager or HR contact. Not to plead your case, but simply to ask, "Can you give me any clarity on timeline or what is being considered?" Sometimes the waiting itself becomes the hardest part, and even a small piece of information can lower the temperature of uncertainty. You don't have to carry the silence alone.

In the meantime, we're asking God to sustain you, not just with an outcome, but with steady peace in the hours between now and whenever news comes.

Lord, you see this one who has worked diligently and now waits while others move forward. Quiet the anxious thoughts that come with uncertainty. Give clear information at the right time, and surround this person with friends who will not grow tired of listening. Provide for every genuine need, and open the right door, whether this contract is renewed or something better unfolds. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I understand this season feels very long. Fifteen years you have spent on this work, and now it seems everyone else has been spoken to, but you are left waiting, the last one. That is a hard place to stand. The mind in such hours can become a factory of fears, and each day that passes without a word can feel like a fresh weight added to the burden. You feel singled out, and that very singling-out can whisper things to your soul that are not true. But you are not forgotten. You are not overlooked by the One who counts the stars.

Consider a vessel out at sea. She has been on the water a good while, and now a fog has settled in. Other ships have sounded their horns and made for harbor, but the fog around you is still thick. It would be easy to imagine you are adrift and all alone. But the pilot knows these waters perfectly. He sees you though you cannot see Him. He has not lost your position for a single moment. The quietness of His voice does not mean He has turned His attention elsewhere. And when the very hour is right, not a moment too soon, not a moment too late, He will steer you through the mouth of the harbor. The waiting is not emptiness; it is the act of being held in place by a wisdom too deep for you to fathom just yet.

And think of this: the Lord is near you in the waiting. You are not pacing the floor alone. There is an ancient title for God that has always been a cordial to my own heart when I am brought low: He is the one "who gives songs in the night." That is a strange place for music, is it not? In the daytime we can manage a tune, but what of the dark hours when sleep has fled and anxiety keeps watch? Even there, He can put a melody into your spirit that has no earthly source. Do not be surprised if, in the middle of your fretting, a quiet peace settles over your mind like a dove coming to rest. That is your Father drawing near. He does not always send the answer the moment we wish it, but He often sends Himself, and that is far better.

I would not point you to mere forced cheerfulness or to the weak comfort of pretending the trial is not real. The uncertainty is real, and the tiredness of your heart is real too. But what is infinitely more real is your Lord. The One who has fed you all your life long, who was with you in the first hour of this contract and every day since, stands ready with fresh mercies for this new bend in the road. Has He ever failed you yet? Bring to remembrance the former deliverances, let them be bread for the present hunger. In times past you could not see a way, and He made one. In this matter He is the very same God.

And if the answer should come wrapped in a black-edged envelope, if the outcome is not what you hope, still He will be enough. His love is not a fair-weather friend. You will find, even then, that your chief good is not in a contract signed or a wage secured, but in knowing Him and being known by Him. But do not let your heart run too far down that road just now. He who has carried you through fifteen years is not likely to drop you at the finish. Cast this care entirely upon Him. A father’s hand in the dark is a strong thing to hold. Reach out and grasp it, and let Him do the fretting for you.

Let us pray.

Father, into Your strong and gentle hands we commit this dear soul. You see the waiting; You know every anxious thought that has circled through the mind like a bird with no place to land. Come now and be the very rest of this heart. In Your perfect time, open the door that no man can shut, or shut the door that would lead away from Your best. But more than any contract, give Your child a fresh sight of Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Calm the inward storm; speak peace to these troubled waters. We cast this burden at Your feet and leave it there, for You care for us. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

You have been brought near to the mountain, not yet hearing the final word, and in this waiting you are cast before His feet. That is no small step. The lame climbed the height not needing to touch His garment but only to be laid in that place. So now, cling even more to this: your hope is not in men who call others first, but in the One who sees the last as first.

The delay is not a denial; it is the time in which faith is tested, and the soul is scraped bare of all other props. Do not murmur that the contract tarries while others are called. Think of Job, who sat on the dunghill scraping his sores, hearing his wife cry, "Speak a word against the Lord and die." He had no comfort, no explanation, yet he would not let go of righteousness. If sickness of soul now afflicts you because your livelihood seems withheld, what then?

Is not this a lighter trial than breeding worms in the open air, naked and friendless? He lost all in one day; you fear the loss of one opportunity among many. But God, who gives food to all flesh, has not forgotten you. Even now, as you wait, train your tongue to sing psalms instead of anxious calculations.

Drunkenness with worry cuts off the clear voice of faith, but spiritual songs fill the mind with the Holy Spirit, who renews the spirit of your understanding. In this waiting, offer yourself, not merely your labor, but your very anxiety, as a living sacrifice, acceptable, sanctified by that Spirit. I do not speak of mere service but of a priestly act. For when you submit your acceptance or refusal into God's hand, you perform a remembrance of the one Sacrifice that cannot be exhausted.

He who offered Himself once for all is your High Priest; He does not need to offer again, but He receives your offering of trust and makes it one with His own. So do not think you are left out because you are last. The genealogy of grace often goes back further than we expect, tracing its line through those who seemed forgotten. Be renewed in this thought: the same Christ is complete here and there, one Body in all places.

Your work is not being done for a perishing contract but as an offering to Him. Therefore give thanks already, not only for yourself but as one who will take his place among those who feed all flesh with their prayers. Stand ready, not in the spirit of an old fear, but in the new mind that trusts the renewal will come at the fitting hour.
