Father God, I come to You this day a weary child. Weary of fighting battles I shouldn't even be involved in. Some of my own making, some through the influence of others. This day, I ask that the door to a season of renewal be opened in my life. May all of the past grief and loss, financial challenge and job stability be overcome by the grace of Your fellowship, and the redemption offered in Your Son's blood. I admit my shortcomings, my failures and I ask for Your strength and guidance alone to put me on the right track. One of forgiveness and grace, provision and protection, service and renewal. God raise me above the dread and worry that so easily tries to ensnare my life...keep my thoughts and actions positive in the light of Your sovereign authority. As I watch the leaves change color and feel the air grow cooler as the physical season changes, so I long to see and feel permanent changes for the better in my season of life. Raise me up Father, I am weary and no longer want to fight alone. In Jesus' name, amen.
