We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and protection. The Bible is clear that witchcraft and any form of occult practice is an abomination to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, it is written, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We stand firmly on the truth that all such works of darkness must be renounced and broken in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. There is no power greater than His, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Repent of any involvement in witchcraft, the occult, or any sin, and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
For those who are already in Christ, we take authority over every evil work sent against you. We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, sorcery, and every form of darkness in the name of Jesus. The Word of God assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise and command every evil assignment to be dismantled and destroyed by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray a hedge of protection around you, your household, and all that concerns you. Psalm 91:9-11 says, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over your life. May the Lord surround you with His angels and shield you from every attack of the enemy.
Father God, we ask You to expose and remove every form of negativity, curse, or evil work sent against this dear one. Let Your light shine into every dark corner of their life, revealing anything that does not align with Your will. We break every chain of witchcraft, every generational curse, and every soul tie that is not of You. In the name of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of the enemy and declare that this child of God is covered by the blood of Jesus.
We also pray for spiritual discernment and wisdom. Ephesians 6:11-12 reminds us, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Lord, equip them with Your armor—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word—so they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
We encourage you to walk closely with the Lord, saturating your mind and heart with His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s protection, deliverance, and power. Spend time in prayer and worship, drawing near to God so He may draw near to you (James 4:8). Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and support you in your faith journey.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We declare that this child of God is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). We ask You to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they experience Your presence in a powerful way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
