We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by negativity and seeking God's protection. Firstly, let's address how we should pray and approach this situation according to biblical principles. We are instructed in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
In your prayer, we notice that you have not asked this in Jesus's name. We must remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also in John 16:23 WEB: "In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
We are also instructed in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB to put on the full armor of God so that we can stand against the devil's schemes. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We are also instructed to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who is feeling surrounded by negativity and mean-spirited people. We pray that you would give them the strength and wisdom to put on the full armor of God, to stand firm against any evil that comes their way. We ask that you would protect them from all harm and negativity, and that you would guide them in your truth. We also pray that you would bless them and guide them in their relationships. Lord, help them forgive those who have wronged them and guide their thoughts, words, and actions. Lord, we desire that this individual would come to know Jesus and believe in him as their savior. We pray that you would grant them salvation. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
