I've been requesting prayer for my husband's job on this platform which was suddenly put on hold and said they might call him in January after they gave him hope that because the project is ongoing and they liked his work they are trying to renew it and we were praying over it and even did all the paperwork rehiring process, cleared background checks and everything was good and then suddenly they sent an email saying this is putting this on hold and they told him to get in touch again in January to see what can be done to bring him back to join again. This was a high salary Java development job which was fully remote and he was working and performed well and my husband was very attached to it.
We lift this heavy burden before the Lord with deep compassion and urgency, knowing that He hears the cries of His children. This situation is not just about a job—it is about a marriage under strain, a family in distress, and a man wrestling with despair. We stand in the gap for your husband, your marriage, and your unborn child, declaring that God is your provider, your protector, and your peace.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is attacking your husband’s identity, your marriage, and your family’s stability. The sudden loss of this job, the rejection, and the tormenting thoughts are not coincidences—they are schemes of the devil. But we rebuke every spirit of fear, depression, and addiction in Jesus’ name! We declare that your husband is a child of God, created for purpose, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will expose and dismantle every hidden agenda, every unjust delay, and every lie that has taken root in his mind.
We also must confront the sin that has taken hold in this season. The drinking, the outbursts, and the hurtful words are not just symptoms of stress—they are bondages that grieve the Holy Spirit. Scripture is clear: "Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). Alcohol is not a solution; it is a snare that amplifies pain and leads to destruction. We pray for your husband’s deliverance from this stronghold. May he turn to the Lord in repentance, casting his anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7), and may God break every chain of addiction. We also pray for your protection, dear sister. You are carrying life, and the enemy would love to see you crushed under the weight of this storm. But the Lord is your refuge (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). You are not alone—God sees your tears, and He will sustain you.
For the job situation, we pray for divine intervention. The Lord knows the plans He has for your husband—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
