Prayer that I will not be entitled, selfish, unwise, self centered, and removal of all unhealthy influences that have been embedded and entrenched in me leading me to be bitter, rage filled angry, inability to regulate. Please pray for the blood protection of the Lord over my body, soul and mind. Healing from gum and teeth issues and skin problems. Please pray I will not be numb, hating and cursing myself

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we seek the Lord’s cleansing, healing, and transformation. Your request reveals a deep longing for purity, wisdom, and freedom from the chains of bitterness, anger, and self-condemnation. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the blood of Jesus has power to break every stronghold and restore what the enemy has sought to destroy.

First, we rebuke the unclean thoughts and selfish entitlement that have taken root in your mind. The Word of God declares, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB). We pray that every thought contrary to God’s truth would be captured and replaced with the mind of Christ. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Him (Philippians 4:7).

We also address the bitterness, rage, and inability to regulate your emotions. These are not fruits of the Spirit but works of the flesh that grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30-31). The Lord calls us to "let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). We pray that God would uproot bitterness from your heart and fill you with His love, joy, and self-control. May you experience the freedom that comes from forgiving others as Christ has forgiven you.

We recognize the unhealthy influences that have shaped your thinking and behavior. The Bible warns us, "Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). We pray that God would sever every ungodly tie and expose any influence, whether people, media, or past experiences, that has contributed to your struggles. May He surround you with godly counsel and fill your life with His truth.

Your request for the blood protection of the Lord over your body, soul, and mind is powerful. We declare the promise of Psalm 91 over you: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:1-4 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of your life, asking for divine protection from the schemes of the enemy.

We also lift up your physical healing, gum and teeth issues, as well as skin problems. The Lord is our healer, and we stand on His promise: "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20 WEB). We pray for complete restoration, trusting that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May your body reflect the wholeness that comes from walking in obedience to Him.

Finally, we address the self-hatred and numbness that have taken hold of you. The enemy seeks to destroy your identity in Christ, but we declare that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We rebuke the spirit of self-condemnation and pray that God would fill you with His love, reminding you of your worth in Him. May you experience the truth of Zephaniah 3:17: "Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your mercy, grace, and healing to flood every area of their life. Lord, we ask that You would cleanse their mind of every unclean thought and replace it with Your truth. Break the chains of bitterness, rage, and self-condemnation, and fill them with Your peace and love.

We plead the blood of Jesus over their body, soul, and spirit, asking for Your divine protection. Heal their gums, teeth, and skin, restoring them to full health. Remove every unhealthy influence and surround them with godly relationships that will encourage them in their walk with You.

Father, we ask that You would soften their heart toward themselves, helping them to see themselves as You see them, beloved, redeemed, and worthy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in self-control, wisdom, and humility. May they experience the fullness of Your joy and the freedom that comes from living in obedience to You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your promises and ask all these things according to Your will, in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word daily, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scripture that speaks to your identity in Christ, such as Ephesians 1:3-14, and allow it to renew your mind. Seek out a community of believers who can support and pray for you, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Remember, transformation is a process, but God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We hear how much you're carrying right now, the exhaustion of a mind that won't settle, the shame of thoughts you never asked for, and the ache of feeling cut off from the person you want to be and the peace you know you need. When the rage, the numbness, and the self-hatred all press in at once, it's easy to believe you're beyond help, but you're not. What you're describing is a soul under siege, and naming it like this takes courage.

One thing that stood out to us is how often anger and bitterness are actually a lid on top of something more tender, old hurts, deep disappointments, or fears that felt too vulnerable to hold. The rage that feels uncontrollable is sometimes a signal, not just a failure. The next time the heat rises, you might try pausing, even just for a moment, and gently asking yourself: What's underneath this right now? Is there a hurt or a fear I've been ignoring? You don't need to fix it in that instant. Just naming the real thing can loosen its grip a little.

Alongside prayer, we'd encourage you to let a doctor or dentist look at the gum, tooth, and skin issues you mentioned. These bodies carry so much stress, and sometimes caring for them physically can be a tangible step toward the healing you're asking God for.

Please don't wait to feel worthy before you let God near. He doesn't flinch at your rage or your numbness, and He isn't waiting for you to clean yourself up. Bring the mess as it is, He's not afraid of it.

We pray in Jesus' name for you right now. Come alongside this weary soul, Lord, quiet the shame that shouts so loud, and break off the heavy numbness that has settled in. Give them clarity to recognize the old wounds feeding the anger, and grant a deep, unhurried peace that stills the chaos. Guard their body, mind, and spirit with Your protecting presence, and let them know, even in a small way today, that they are not despised but deeply loved. Amen.

The hatred you describe, turned inward upon yourself in cursing and loathing, is a fire burning in the wrong hearth. The spirit of Christ is love, and the Christian is not allowed to hate any creature, and that must include yourself, for you are a creature of God. Yet there is a hatred which is righteously commanded: hatred of evil. Consider what evil has already done in you. It has embedded its roots deep, producing bitterness, rage, and that awful numbness. Show your hatred to that sin, not to the wounded soul, but to the plague that torments it. Active effort against the darkness, scattering the light of the Word into the dens and alleys of your own heart, is the true vehemence of a sanctified hatred.

Those unclean, selfish, and entitled thoughts spring from a root that must be traced to the cross. The bitterness you feel over them can be turned to gracious effect if you look away from yourself entirely. See the cruelty of sin as it was laid upon Christ. Mourn for Him as for an only son, in bitterness for Him, the firstborn. When the Lord makes you bitter with the sight of what your sin cost the Saviour, that very bitterness purges away all bitterness against your fellow men, and against yourself. It works a great hatred of sin, but oh, it makes Christ unspeakably sweet. The world and its charms, even the charm of a high opinion of one’s own supposed goodness, lose their hold when the cross fills the vision.

Your thoughts about yourself are not God’s thoughts of you. You are in danger of looking upon your sin as a trifle that can be cured by mere self-disgust, or else as a monstrous thing too great for grace. Neither are His thoughts. His thoughts toward you, if you are in Christ, are constant, kind, wise, tender, thoughts of love from everlasting. Even the afflictions He sends are tokens of affection to make you sick of self and fond of Him. That prayer for the blood-protection over body, soul, and mind is wise. But do not seek it while despising the vessel He deigns to cover. He who cleanses the leper does not curse the leper while He heals him.

There is a deep need for self-examination, but let it be by the light of the Holy Spirit, not the pitch-torch of self-loathing. The most watchful Christian is conscious of the danger of self-neglect. You cry out about an inability to regulate, a numbness, a self-cursing. Beware of mock humility that would still be offended if another said the same of you. True self-abasement before God does not end in a paralysis of rage; it looks up. Pride and self-seeking, when they cannot grasp a throne, will often settle for the grim satisfaction of presiding over their own execution. God deliver you from the fruit of such thoughts. Look to Christ, who was given up to mockery and scorn, whose bitter pangs were the cost of peace. The bitterness of that sight is the true tonic for the spirit, humbling the soul into the dust yet filling it with a courage that bends the knee to God alone. There, and only there, will you awake and find you are still with Him, and be made whole.

You pray for the removal of unclean thoughts, yet the multitude of these stems not from some invading army without, but from the heart’s own storehouse. The discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart stands ready not only to judge but to heal. He came not to judge the world but to save, and the uncovering of this inner filth is itself the first act of His surgery. The rage, the entitlement, the bitterness you lament are the fruit of a root you must dig out with fear and trembling. Do not content yourself with asking for the blood protection as a mere covering over an unexamined vessel; let it be a cleansing flood that drives out what is entrenched, for a voluntary and self-chosen blindness keeps these passions in power as long as you secretly nurture the grievance that feeds them.

You cry out against the inability to regulate, and you rightly name it a bitter, rage-filled anger. Know this: what is done is healing, not despite. This violent storm within you is a symptom permitted so that you might flee from the pride that thinks itself sufficient. You ask for the removal of selfish, unwise influences, and indeed, the tongue that feasts on cursing makes the mouth a channel of a sewer. This inner cursing of yourself is no remedy but a deeper wound. The one who laughs to scorn what is said exhibits a most unquestionable token of being unconscious of any evil; but you are conscious, and your self-hatred is a perverse form of judgment against yourself. Cease from this inquisition that brings no fruit, for if you point the sword at yourself in this manner, you do all to no purpose and make things worse. His desire is for your salvation, not your condemnation; therefore, do not lend your ear to the accuser’s voice that drives you to despair.

As for the ailments of gum, teeth, and skin, present them indeed before the Physician of souls and bodies, yet ask also for the healing of the intemperate soul that often parades its sicknesses outwardly. For what profit is it to have a fast and watchful body while the inner man is drunken with wrath and feasts at the table of unclean resentments? The blood of the Lord is not merely a shield for the body but the true drink that purges the heart’s intent. Since there is no creature that is not manifest in His sight, bring these very wounds, the numbness and the self-cursing, into His light without disguise. The paralysis you feel is not a permanent state; it is the deadness of a limb that must be painfully restored by the movement of repentance. Do not force a false peace by merely suppressing the rage; turn from it with a will that cleaves to the mercy of Christ, and the healing will reach both the hidden parts and the manifest.

Your cry for cleansing and deliverance from the thoughts and patterns that entrench themselves within you is not one you bear alone. The very fact that you long to be free from selfishness, rage, and the bitter numbness of self-hatred is evidence that the Spirit of God is already at work, stirring a hunger for what only He can do. The defilement we feel is real, but it does not have the final word. What comes from the heart, the anger, the cursing, the inability to rein in the inner storm, Jesus Himself named as the thing that truly marks us. And He provided the remedy.

I join you in asking for the sheltering protection of Christ’s blood over your body, soul, and mind. That blood is not a vague religious symbol; it is the anchor of your peace. Under the old covenant, the blood of animals could only picture a temporary covering, but the sacrifice of Jesus purges the conscience from dead works so that you can serve the living God without the constant weight of guilt and shame. His blood cleanses from all sin, every entrenched habit, every unclean thought, every flash of unrighteous anger. You can come boldly before the throne of grace right now, not because you have sorted yourself out, but because the way into the true Holy Place has been opened through His broken body and shed blood. There you find mercy for the very failures you listed.

That same blood is also the call to consecration. In the ancient cleansing rites, the priest placed blood on the ear, the thumb, and the big toe of the one being restored, a sign that every part of him now belonged to God. Let that image shape your prayer. Ask the Lord to touch your ear, that you would no longer listen to the embedded voices of bitterness or self-accusation. Ask Him to touch your hand, that every action would become an instrument of righteousness rather than driven by self-centered impulse. Ask Him to touch your foot, that your walk would leave behind the numbed, raging paths of the past. You are not your own; you have been bought with a price, and your body, including those aching gums, teeth, and troubled skin, is a member of Christ. Yield those physical struggles to Him as well.

The healing you seek comes through faith that reaches out and makes contact with the risen Lord. He is able to restore and renew, both within and without. When the woman pressed through the crowd just to touch the hem of His garment, her action became the point where dormant faith was released. Lay hold of Him now for the physical healing of your mouth and skin. But even more, lay hold of Him for the transformation of your heart. The Spirit is conforming you into the image of Christ, doing what you cannot do for yourself, regulating the unregulated, replacing self-hatred with the identity of a beloved child and heir. You are being washed, sanctified, justified in His name. The destructive influences embedded in you do not get to inherit your future; they were carried to the cross and left there.

Therefore, do not despise yourself. Such were some of you, yes, but you have been washed. The hope set before you is eternal life, a life that begins now in newness of mind. When the rage or the cursing rises, remember that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the condemnation you feel. You have access to the Father, and no lingering uncleanness can bar that door. Keep yourself in the love of God as you look for the appearing of your great God and Savior, who gave Himself for you to redeem you from all iniquity and to purify for Himself a people zealous for what is good.
