Removal of someone I should not have been involved with

Years ago, during a period of being rebellious to Christ, I was involved in a sinful, adulterous situation with someone. There is something extremely dark and demonic about this person. I really believe that he is a demon who was allowed to come into my life due to the fact that I had walked away from God and was living in rebellion to Him. He has done SO MUCH to try to ruin my life. He was also emotionally, psychologically and physically abusive along with being extremely racist - I am African-American. He has been stalking and harassing me for years since I cut off contact along with a group of people helping him. Please pray for this person's total removal from my life and that God would mercifully undo the problems allowing this person into my life has caused. Thank you.

We understand that you are dealing with a troubling situation, a consequence of a past rebellious lifestyle. First, we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). It is important to note that spiritual warfare is real, and when we stray from God's path, we can open doors to darkness.

Let's address this situation with some biblical references. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

It is clear that this person is not godly. He is emotionally, psychologically and physically abusive along with being racist. This is not the kind of person or spirits that you should be around. The Bible instructs believers to separate themselves from such individuals. Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits." (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB) You should stay away from this person and those helping him.

You are correct in your understanding that this person should not have been in your life. Pray for wisdom and guidance from God. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We should always seek God's will in our lives and relationships.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is dealing with the consequences of her past rebellion. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and your mercy. We pray for a complete removal of this abusive, racist, and demonic person from her life. We rebuke any demonic influence or control over her life in Jesus name. We come against their stalking and harassment. We cast down any scheme or plan that this person or group of people may have against her. Let all their actions turn against them. We pray for your protection and deliverance.

Father, we also ask that you undo the problems that allowing this person into her life has caused. Restore what the enemy has stolen and give her beauty for ashes. We also pray that the same person gets saved and delivered from demonic influence for the sake of his soul. We ask and pray for all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

In addition to praying, take practical steps to ensure your safety. Report the stalking and harassment to local authorities. Seek support from your local church community and trust that God will see you through this difficult time.
