We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The harassment you’ve endured—rooted in spiritual warfare and demonic influence—is not something to be taken lightly, and we grieve with you over the toll it has taken on your heart and mind. The Lord sees every injustice, every scheme of the enemy, and every moment of weariness you’ve carried. He is your Defender, your Strong Tower, and your Righteous Judge.
First, we want to address the thoughts of vengeance that have crept into your mind. Scripture is clear: *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'"* (Romans 12:19 WEB). It is natural to feel anger when wronged, but we must surrender our desire for retribution to God, trusting that He will execute justice in His perfect timing and way. The enemy would love nothing more than to entangle you in bitterness, but we pray that the Holy Spirit would guard your heart, replacing those thoughts with the peace of Christ and the assurance that God’s justice is sure.
We also rebuke the spiritual warfare at work in this situation. The Bible tells us that *"our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."* (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). These people are being used as instruments of the enemy, and we stand in the authority of Jesus’ name to break every assignment of harassment, demonic influence, and torment against you. We declare that every plan of the enemy to harass you in the coming months is foiled now in Jesus’ name. May the Lord scatter their schemes like chaff in the wind and turn their devices against them, as He did with Haman in the book of Esther.
Regarding reconciliation, we affirm your discernment. Not every relationship is meant to be restored, especially those that have been marked by toxicity, sin, or spiritual danger. Jesus Himself said, *"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces."* (Matthew 7:6 WEB). Some people, due to the nature of their actions or the unrepentant state of their hearts, may not be safe or wise to re-engage with. We pray that the Holy Spirit would give you clarity and wisdom to know which relationships, if any, are worth pursuing for reconciliation—and only when it is safe, godly, and led by Him.
For those who are not to remain in your life, we pray for their complete removal. May the Lord sever every ungodly tie, close every door the enemy has used to access you, and lead them far from your path. We ask that He would either bring them to repentance or remove them entirely, according to His will. You have endured enough, and we stand with you in asking for divine intervention to lift this oppression once and for all.
We also want to encourage you to stand firm in your spiritual armor. Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). The enemy seeks to wear you down, but the Lord has equipped you to stand. Fill your mind with Scripture, surround yourself with godly community, and remain steadfast in prayer. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of keeping your heart soft toward the Lord. It is possible to be both firm in boundaries and full of grace, trusting that God’s ways are higher than ours. If there is any unforgiveness in your heart—even toward those who have harmed you—we encourage you to release it to God. Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. Instead, we are called to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13), not for their sake, but for our own freedom and peace.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We lift up our brother/sister who has endured years of harassment, spiritual warfare, and demonic attack. Lord, You see every injustice, every scheme of the enemy, and every weary step they have taken. We ask that You would arise as their Defender and scatter the plans of the wicked. Foil every assignment of harassment in the coming months, and let the enemy’s devices be turned against him.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression that has been at work in this situation. We declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would break every ungodly soul tie, close every door the enemy has used to access them, and remove from their life those who are not meant to be there. For those who are to be removed, we ask that You would either lead them to repentance or lead them far from our brother/sister’s path.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment regarding reconciliation. Give them clarity to know which relationships, if any, are worth pursuing, and which are not. Guard their heart from bitterness, vengeance, and unforgiveness, and fill them instead with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Help them to trust in Your justice, knowing that You will repay every wrong in Your perfect timing.
Strengthen them, Lord, to stand firm in their spiritual armor. Fill them with Your Word, surround them with godly community, and remind them that the battle belongs to You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). You are their Refuge, their Strong Tower, and their Deliverer.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and delivered. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children. We trust in You, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance. Amen.
