For some of you here, in the past few months or years, God has brought you into a season of wilderness.
At moments you thought He abandoned you, at moments you wondered if He was actually listening to your prayers to Him.
The family problems, the lost loved ones, the financial struggles, the health issues, and all the other impossible problems seemed overwhelming.
In tears, you complained to God, wondering when He would finally allow the breakthrough.
You tried to do things to please Him so that He would answer and wore yourself out.
You rebelled against Him in little ways because you thought He was being unfair by taking so long...
But God did not lead you into the wilderness to torture you.
There are some deep broken things in the hearts of His children that He wants to heal.
In the wilderness, in turning to Him when all seems lost, we renew our strength and increase in faith.
In the wilderness, He whispers sweet promises over us and tells us how dearly He loves us.
We learn that if we have nothing but Him, that we have everything we need.
Keep your eyes on Him and do not fear what your surroundings look like.
As you keep turning to Him so that He can transform you, the promises He has given you will come to pass.
God is not a man that He should lie. He never lies.
He is patient with you and waiting on you to surrender all to Him, for this is His will that you love Him with all your heart.
In due time, as He truly becomes your number one and everything you desire and need, He will grant you great blessing and increase.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)
