We are glad to join you in prayer and provide guidance as you seek God's will for your relocation. It is encouraging to see that you have prayed about this and that the Lord has placed a specific state on your heart. It is also wonderful that your granddaughter found a college she liked in that state. Remember, God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. The Lord directs our steps, and He knows the desires of our hearts. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Regarding your concerns about finding a job, financial resources for the move, and selling your home, we encourage you to trust in the Lord's provision. He knows our needs before we ask, so trusting Him wholeheartedly is key. Pray for daily bread and trust that He will provide. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul: And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
However, we must address that you did not mention Jesus Christ directly in your request, but rather used an abbreviation. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Remember the words of the Apostle Peter: And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Therefore, it is important to acknowledge the power of Jesus' name in our prayers.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who seeks Your guidance for relocation. Lord, You know the desires of her heart and the needs of her family. We ask that You make Your will clear to her, and that You open the doors for a smooth transition. Provide for her financial needs, help her find a job, and grant her favor in selling her home. Give her peace and patience as she waits on Your perfect timing. Remind her that You are faithful, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray. Amen.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.
