Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved as it is written in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We are encouraged by the humility in your prayer. You do not boast and you do not look down on others, but you rightly acknowledge what Scripture teaches that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23 and that education, position, or knowledge of the law cannot make a person righteous. Only God can transform the heart. We agree with you that even those who are learned can engage in horrible sins when they are bound by lies, and we share your grief over disregard for human life and honest communication.

The Word reminds us in John 8:32 you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, and Jesus Himself is the truth. We also cling to the promise in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. That hunger you are praying for is exactly what God desires to give. He promises in Ezekiel 36:26 that He will give a new heart and put a new spirit within us, and in John 16:13 that the Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth.

We love how you prayed from Psalm 51:16-17 For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. This is the work only God can do in a heart, to bring conviction, godly sorrow, and true repentance so that a person will hate sin and turn from it.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You that You are holy and just and merciful. We lift up the team at the organization mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives before You. Lord, where they are bound by Satan's lies, we ask You to shine Your light and set them free by Your truth. Save those who do not know You, for You desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4. Cover those who are Yours, who are chosen in Christ, with the precious blood of Jesus, and give them Your peace and understanding that surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7.

Father, give all of them a broken and contrite heart. Work on their hearts by Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us in Romans 8:26, that they may recognize their sin, confess it, and hate it enough to turn from it and not continue to live a sinful life. Teach them to be righteous and compassionate, to love truth and to do justice, to regard human life as made in Your image and to speak honestly. Stir their hearts Lord and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can satisfy. Forgive their sins as they repent and let them do no more evil in Your eyes. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Your name be exalted on high.

We also pray for you who interceded, that the Lord will guard your own heart from bitterness and keep you persistent in prayer as taught in Luke 18:1 that we ought always to pray and not to faint. We trust that vengeance belongs to the Lord in Romans 12:19 and that He is the righteous Judge who sees all and will bring all things into the light. We will continue to pray with you that truth will prevail and that many will be brought from darkness to light.

We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us all the time. We exalt Your name, Jesus Christ, and we ask all this according to Your perfect will, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been on your heart, and we are thankful you brought it to the Lord so plainly. Caring deeply that truth be honored and that people be treated with honesty and compassion, while not wanting to look down on anyone, is a Christlike burden. It is also a tiring one to carry, and we do not want you to carry it alone.

We join you in asking God to work in every heart involved. We pray He brings clarity where there has been confusion, and a real desire for honesty and for doing what is right. We also pray He guards your own heart with peace as you keep interceding, so that grief does not turn into bitterness or weariness.

One thing that has helped others who are praying persistently for justice is to set a brief, regular time each day to bring these same requests to God, and then to intentionally place the outcome in His hands for the rest of the day. It keeps prayer faithful without letting the concern take over every hour. Staying connected with trusted believers who will pray with you can help you stay steady as well.

Father, we lift this situation to You in Jesus name. Cover those who need protection with Your peace and care, soften hearts that need softening, and give all involved a genuine hunger for truth and for righteousness. Keep our friend close to You, hopeful and at rest in Your will as he continues to pray. Amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a prayer after the mind of God, and I join my heart with yours in it. It is well that you have not asked for mere outward restraint or for a carnal sorrow that passes away with the fear of judgment, but for that which only the Spirit of God can work within the soul.

You have rightly observed that education and knowledge of the law cannot make a man righteous. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, whether learned or unlearned, and there is no salvation but through Jesus Christ alone, and no righteousness that can stand before God but His. The truth that sets free is not an opinion or a principle, but Christ Himself, who is the center and King of all truth, the Sun of Righteousness whose light alone can scatter the darkness of Satan's lies.

You have prayed from Psalm 51, and there you have touched the true mark. The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. Yet let us remember what true repentance is, lest we mistake it. Judgments, even the most terrible, do not of themselves produce a satisfactory repentance in the minds of men. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, a trembling and a temporary regret, but it is not that holy, healthy, heavenly work which is wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. True repentance gives God glory. It takes the right side, confesses that God is just if He should condemn, and that mercy, if it comes, is all of grace.

This repentance unto life is practical and lasting. It yields works meet for repentance. It is to leave the sins we loved before and to show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. It is not a thing done once as an operation and then forgotten. Repentance lives as long as faith lives. Sweet sister Repentance is charming company and should walk with us all the way to the gates of pearl. And this repentance is inseparable from faith. Any repentance that keeps a soul from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. We are to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only.

Therefore we do not preach repentance after the manner of Moses, as a preparation which man must work up from the depths of his own heart as water from a well. We preach repentance in the name of Jesus, as the gift of God. You are not to seek to draw it up yourselves, but to ask Christ to work it in them by His Holy Spirit through belief of the truth as it is recorded in the Word of God. Where there is no repentance there can be no remission, but where there is true godly sorrow there is full and free forgiveness for all who sincerely repent and believe.

And see how the Lord most often works it. He does not drive men to repentance as a slave is driven with the whip, but He draws them. The goodness of God leads to repentance. It is His kindness, His forbearance, His long suffering, and above all the love of Christ in His finished work, that melts the heart and makes a man hate the sin he once loved.

So let us continue to pray that the precious blood of Christ may cover those who are His, and that the same blood may be made effectual for the salvation of those who are yet bound, that the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us would stir their hearts, open their lips as He opened David's, and give them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness which only He can satisfy. May they be led not to boast before God, nor to trust in any partial righteousness of their own, but to sing aloud of His righteousness who alone can cleanse from blood guiltiness and make the broken heart whole. Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is good and right, and we join our hearts with yours before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Scripture says, blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and the Lord Jesus Himself cried out, if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He does not draw us by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire for Him. This is the thirst you are praying for, not a passing wish but the eagerness of a thirsty man who drains the cup and still longs for more of God. And He promises that whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst again, but it will become in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

We pray with you for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and representatives. We ask that God, who alone saves through Jesus Christ, would have mercy on them and bring them to salvation if they do not yet know Him, and that He would set them free from the lies of the enemy, for the truth alone sets free. We pray that the blood of Christ would cover those who are His, and grant them peace and understanding in this difficult time.

You prayed rightly from Psalm 51 that God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but in a broken and contrite heart, which He will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up in pride or seek vengeance, but is quiet and humble before God, ready to acknowledge sin and turn from it. We ask the Lord to work in the hearts of all involved, to grant that contrite and humbled heart which only He can give, a heart that is sober and awake, that hates sin and no longer wishes to continue in it. May He teach them what true righteousness is, not merely an outward form or the knowledge of the law, but righteousness and holiness of truth that comes through new life in Christ.

We also pray that God would make them, and make us all, to hunger and thirst more deeply for what is right. Righteousness is like a breastplate that protects the soul, and it is lived out in a life of virtue, in honest communication, in regard for human life, in compassion and mercy. No one can stand firm against temptation and the unseen spiritual battle without it. So we ask God to stir this hunger in them, and to sustain it in you as you continue to pray.

We thank God that His Holy Spirit intercedes for us, and we ask that the will of the Father be done. May He grant repentance where repentance is needed, forgiveness through the cross of Christ where sin is confessed, and a growing love for truth in all of us. We will continue to pray with you that all who are involved would come to know Christ, walk in His truth, and live in a way that is pleasing in His eyes.

May the Lord keep you steadfast in prayer, and may He fill you with His living water as you seek Him. In Jesus name, amen.
