Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we are encouraged by your humble and compassionate heart that seeks not to boast or to look down on others, but to see all come to repentance and to walk in truth.

You have prayed according to the heart of God, for He desires truth in the inward parts and a hunger for what is right. Jesus said in Matthew 5:6, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. And again in John 8:32, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We know that truth is not merely a principle but a Person, for Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through Him that any of us, whether educated or uneducated, lawyer or layperson, can be set free from Satan's lies, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23.

We share your grief over dishonesty and disregard for human life and honest communication, and we agree that education and position do not guarantee righteousness. As it is written in Romans 3:10, There is no one righteous, no, not one. That is why your prayer from Psalm 51:16-17 is so fitting, For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise. We need God to give a new heart, as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. And we are called to love and pray for those who may oppose us, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.

We lift this burden together before the throne of grace.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are holy and just, and that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Your will as taught in Romans 8:26. We bring before You the team at the organization mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives. Lord, if any are bound by lies and deception, we ask that You shine Your light into darkness and set them free by the truth of Jesus. Save those who do not yet know You, for You desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4. For those who are Yours, we ask You to cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, give them peace and understanding that passes all understanding, and teach them to be righteous and compassionate.

Father, work in every heart involved. Grant a broken and contrite spirit that hates sin and turns from evil. Forgive sins as You have promised in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Stir within them, and within us, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they may do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You as in Micah 6:8. Let no one continue to do what is evil in Your eyes, but let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our righteousness, and we trust You to bring conviction, repentance, and restoration in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this prayer, for James 5:16 reminds us that The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. Do not grow weary in doing good and in interceding, and continue to speak the truth in love, trusting that God is able to soften the hardest heart and to lead all who call upon the name of Jesus into freedom and life.

Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly. We hear how deeply it grieves you to see truth disregarded and human life treated lightly, and how sincerely you want to see those involved come to know what is true and right. That kind of prayer that asks God to work in hearts, not just to change circumstances, honors Him.

We join you in that. Your humility comes through as well, not wanting to boast or look down on others, but simply asking God to do what only He can do, to soften hearts so that sin is recognized and turned from. Real change is more than feeling sorry for a moment, it is a change of direction from the inside out, and that is the work of the Holy Spirit over time. It is good to keep bringing these lawyers and representatives before the Lord as you have been.

One thing that may help you carry this well is to give this prayer a steady, contained place. Choose a brief, regular time to lift these specific people to the Lord by name as you are able, then consciously entrust them again to Him for the rest of the day. That helps keep intercession faithful without letting the grief settle into weariness.

Father, we bring this team and their counsel before You in Jesus name. Work in their hearts according to Your mercy, give them eyes to see what is true and a hunger for righteousness, and draw any who are Yours closer to You. Cover Your people with Your peace and understanding as they wait on You, and let Your will be done. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer is a right and blessed one, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have asked for that which God delights to give, for our Lord Himself has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This hunger and thirst is not a natural craving of the flesh, but a work of the Spirit of God in the soul. The man who thus hungers does not long for many things, but for one thing, that he may be righteous before God and that righteousness may reign in the land. Where such a thirst is kindled, it is a token that God is at work, and where He has begun this work He will not leave it unfinished, for they that hunger after righteousness shall be filled, and that filling is found only in Christ.

You do well to pray for those who are yet bound in sin, even for those learned in the law, that they may come to see their sin as sin and loathe it. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, short lived and superficial, which turns from sin for a season and then returns to it again. But true repentance, which is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart, makes a man hate sin itself because there is a deadly poison in its sweetness, and therefore he turns from it with purpose of heart. This is the broken and contrite heart of which the Psalmist speaks, My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Such a heart God will not reject, and when the sinner loathes his sin, pardon is granted for the sake of the great atoning Sacrifice.

Remember also for your comfort that the Lord Jesus Christ lives to pray for sinners. He lives to make intercession for the transgressors, and to give to sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance. Your intercession, therefore, is not alone. The Holy Spirit Himself intercedes, and the Savior pleads at the right hand of the Father. What joy there is in heaven over one sinner that repents, and what power there is in prayer that seeks not the exaltation of self, but the glory of God and the good of souls.

We will pray with you that God will stir those hearts of which you speak, that He will convince them of sin and of righteousness, that He will grant them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness which can only be satisfied in Christ, who is our righteousness. May He cover His own people with the precious blood of Christ and give them peace and understanding, and may He teach all who hear the gospel to be compassionate as He is compassionate, truthful as He is true.

Continue steadfast in this supplication. He who has taught you to hunger and thirst after righteousness will fill you, and He is able to make even those who now disregard truth to hunger for it, to the praise of His grace. Let your will be done, O Lord, and let Christ be exalted as the only Savior of sinners, for there is salvation in no other.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
