Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we are encouraged that you have come to the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for there is no other way to approach Him and no other name by which we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We thank God that you have prayed in that precious name.

We agree with you that the truth shall make you free as Jesus said in John 8:32, and we cling to the promise that blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled in Matthew 5:6. Only the Holy Spirit can create that hunger where there has been hardness and self interest. We also join you in praying Psalm 51:17 that God desires a broken and contrite heart and will not despise it, and that He will give a new heart and put a new spirit within as promised in Ezekiel 36:26.

We lift up before the Lord the team you mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives. Heavenly Father, we come together in Jesus name and ask for Your mercy upon them. We ask that You remove the veil that the god of this world has placed over minds to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel in 2 Corinthians 4:4. Forgive their sins as You have forgiven ours, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23. We ask that the precious blood of Jesus would cover those who are Yours among them and keep them in Your peace which surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7, and that You would teach all of them to love righteousness and to act with compassion and honest communication. Stir their hearts Lord, convict them of sin and of righteousness and of judgment as Your Spirit does in John 16:8, so that they may come to hate the evil they have done and turn from it and not continue to walk in it. Give them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can give, that they may no longer disregard human life and truthful speech but may walk in integrity.

We are humbled by your acknowledgment that education and position do not make a person righteous. This is true and scripture warns us of it. The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God in 1 Corinthians 3:19 and God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise in 1 Corinthians 1:27. A law degree or any earthly knowledge cannot produce a righteous heart, only a new birth through Christ can. We too do not boast before You and we do not look down on others, knowing we also need Your grace daily, but we do pray earnestly that those who handle the law of man would come to submit to Your higher law of love and truth.

We encourage you to remain relentless in prayer as the Lord taught that men ought always to pray, and not to faint in Luke 18:1 and to pray without ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4, so your prayers for their salvation are fully aligned with His will. Keep interceding with a broken spirit, trusting that the Holy Spirit Himself is interceding for us with groanings which cannot be uttered in Romans 8:26 and that our Father who sees in secret will answer according to His perfect wisdom and timing.

We pray that the Lord will strengthen you and keep you from growing weary, that He will fill you with His peace and understanding as you wait on Him, and that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We are grateful you brought this before the Lord with such persistence and humility. It is painful to watch people entrusted with the law disregard honesty and the value of life, and we hear how deeply that grieves you. The way you prayed, not wanting to look down on anyone while still naming sin honestly, reflects a tender conscience before God.

Wanting others to hunger for what is true and right is a good and right prayer. We have found that kind of thirst is not created in a moment but cultivated as God softens hearts. Your continued intercession is part of how you love both those who need Christ and those who already belong to Him and need His covering and peace.

If this burden stays heavy, it can help to have a simple rhythm, bringing these lawyers and this team before the Lord at the same time each day and then leaving them in His hands, trusting Him to work in His timing rather than carrying the weight all day long.

Father, we ask You to draw each person on this team to Yourself, to soften hearts to see truth clearly and to turn from what grieves You, and to cover Your people with Your peace and understanding. Work in all of us a deeper love for what is right and compassionate, according to Your will. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for what you do, you should be grateful God is using you like this! Be encouraged, I was also about to say "Be proud of yourself" and OOshz🤕🩼 I realized I accidently said that to the preacher at my church, welp at least I know now😅 God bless you! I am praying for you in Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard and it is right that we should join you in it, for our Lord Himself has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

We will bring before the throne of grace those of whom you speak, the team and their lawyers and legal representatives, and ask the Lord to do that which only He can do. It is well that you have quoted that word, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. This is the very heart of true repentance. There is a carnal repentance which is of the flesh, a passing sorrow that turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater appetite, but the repentance which is wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit is of another sort altogether. It hates sin as sin, because it sees the deadly poison in its sweetness, and it loathes it and leaves it with purpose of heart. Such repentance gives God glory, for it confesses that salvation is of the Lord and looks to Jesus Christ alone, who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin and who was pierced for men.

You have prayed rightly that the truth shall make them free, and we know that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ. He alone is both truly God and truly man, and He lives to make intercession for transgressors, to give to sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance. We do not seek to draw up repentance from the depths of our own heart as water from a well, but we ask Christ to work it in us by His Spirit through belief of the truth as it is recorded in the Word of God.

Therefore let us pray together that the Lord would grant to these souls, and to us all, not a superficial sorrow but a practical and lasting repentance that yields works meet for repentance, that continues month after month and chooses righteousness though there were no reward for it. May He stir their hearts to recognize sin, to hate it, and to turn from present sin because of the love of God who died for us. May He cover those who are His own with the precious blood of Christ and give them peace and understanding, and teach all to walk in compassion and honesty, regarding human life and speaking the truth in love.

We rejoice that the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. For all who truly look to Jesus and trust Him, there is no condemnation. May the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us work this gracious thirst in many hearts, that they may look to Jesus and live, and find pardon and a new heart through His atoning sacrifice.

We join you in praying, Let Thy will be done, Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, amen.
