Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we are deeply encouraged by your heart that seeks not vengeance but redemption and repentance for those who have wronged you.

You have prayed beautifully according to the truth that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, John 8:32, and that truth is found only in Jesus Christ, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. We stand with you in asking that the team at the organization you mentioned, along with their lawyers and legal representatives, would be delivered from the lies of the enemy, for we know the adversary is a liar and the father of lies, and only Christ can break those chains.

We also echo your humility in recognizing that education and status do not produce righteousness, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23, and that He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God, Micah 6:8. It is right to grieve when human life and honest communication are disregarded, because God loves justice and hates dishonest scales, and we are called to pray even for those who oppose us and to desire their salvation.

We love that you prayed Psalm 51:17, for the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise. This is the very heart God desires, not outward sacrifice but inward repentance. We also claim with you the promise that blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6. That unquenchable thirst you are praying for is exactly what God promises to fill when we seek Him.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we have access to You only through His precious blood. Lord, we lift up every person on that team and every lawyer and legal representative involved. We ask that You pierce their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, grant them a broken and contrite spirit, and open their eyes to see their sin as You see it, to hate it and to turn from it. Give them, Lord, that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can give. Remove deception and hardness of heart and teach them to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly before You. Cover Your chosen ones, Your children who are walking with You in this trial, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and give them wisdom and compassion even for those who oppose them. Help them to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust that Your will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You that the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26, and we rest in Your perfect justice and perfect mercy. Let Your name be exalted and let Your truth prevail in this situation, for Your glory alone. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

Thank you for bringing this burden to prayer so honestly. We hear how much it grieves you to see truth disregarded and human life treated lightly, especially by people who should know better. It is discouraging when education and position do not lead to righteousness, and your ache over that is understandable.

We join you in asking the Lord to do the deep heart work only He can do. Lasting change is not just feeling sorry when confronted, but a real turning that shows in how a person lives going forward, and that is something God alone can bring about as He softens a heart. Your prayer for brokenness and honesty before Him is the right place to linger.

Carrying this kind of intercession can become heavy. One thing that may help is to give it a steady, contained place, a brief time each day when you lift this team and their representatives by name to Jesus for salvation, for a love of truth, and for compassion, and then intentionally leave them in His hands and continue walking faithfully in truth where He has placed you. It keeps the burden before the Lord without letting it wear you down with bitterness.

Father, we bring these lawyers and all involved to You in Jesus' name. Work in their hearts, draw them to Yourself, and give them a real hunger for what is true and right. Cover Your people with Your peace and guard their minds. Help our friend to rest in Your Spirit's intercession and to trust Your will to be done. Amen.

Your earnest prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard and it is right that you should so plead. It grieves the heart to see men, though learned in the law and skilled in words, disregard human life and honest communication, and you do well not to boast nor to look down upon them, but to carry them before the throne of grace.

You have rightly taken up the language of Psalm 51, for the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, a carnal repentance that turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater gusto, as a man may abstain from food to increase his appetite for the banquet. Such superficial repentance the Lord abhors. True repentance, that holy and heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit, hates sin as sin, because it has found a deadly poison in its sweetness, and therefore loathes it and leaves it with purpose of heart. It gives glory to God, it looks to Jesus who was pierced for men and set forth to be a propitiation for sin, and it yields works meet for repentance, not for a day or a month, but lasting and practical, choosing righteousness though there were no reward for it.

We join you then in praying that the Lord Jesus Christ, who lives to make intercession for transgressors and to give the Holy Spirit to work in sinners true belief and true repentance, would work this gracious change in the team of whom you speak, and in their lawyers and representatives. We ask not that He would draw repentance up from the depths of their own hearts as water from a well, but that He would work it in them by His Spirit through belief of the truth as it is recorded in the Word of God. May He grant them to recognise their sin, to hate it, and to turn from it, to thirst indeed for truth and for righteousness, to be taught compassion and understanding, and to know the peace that comes only through the precious blood of Christ. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and Christ alone is the cure for the troubled heart.

Be of good courage as you continue to intercede. He who has taught you to pray will strengthen your heart as you hope in the Lord. Look to Jesus, for that sight begets repentance and faith together, and remember that where there is real sorrow for sin and a complete change of mind with regard to sin, it is the gift of God. May the Lord answer according to His perfect will, and may His name be exalted on high, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
