Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord in the name of Jesus.

We are encouraged by your humility in recognizing that education and position do not make one righteous, for it is written all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23, and what does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God in Micah 6:8. Even those trained in the law can fall into sin when the heart is not surrendered to Christ, and we agree that only God can change the heart. You rightly quoted Psalm 51:16-17, For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. That is the work we are asking God to do in the team you mentioned and in their lawyers and legal representatives, that He would give them a new heart as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.

We also cling to the promise you mentioned that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free in John 8:32, and to the blessing in Matthew 5:6, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. We pray that God stirs within them exactly that holy hunger, that they would hate sin and turn from what is evil in His eyes, and that they would value human life and honest communication as God does. We are thankful that you prayed in Jesus name, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to the Father, as it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name and we agree for truth and righteousness to prevail. Lord, we ask that you save those who are still bound by Satan's lies and bring them into the light of your truth. We ask that you cover those who are yours with your precious blood, grant them peace and understanding, and teach them to be righteous and compassionate witnesses for you. Work on the hearts of those who have disregarded what is right, grant them a broken and contrite spirit, and cause them to recognize their sin, confess it, and turn from it, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9. Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they may no longer continue in a sinful life but walk in obedience to you. We thank you that your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Romans 8:26, and we trust your will to be done. Let your name be exalted, Lord Jesus, and let your justice and mercy be known. We hear the weight you are carrying in this prayer, and we are grateful you brought it to the Lord so honestly. Longing for truth and righteousness to prevail, especially when you have seen dishonesty and disregard for human life from people you expected to act justly, is a heavy and grieving burden to hold.

What stood out to us is how you are choosing to pray for those who have wronged others, asking God to work in their hearts and to cover His own people with peace and understanding. That kind of prayer is not easy. Deciding before God that we will not hold onto revenge and instead desire good for others is one step, and the quieter emotional healing that follows often takes much longer, especially when the injustice is still ongoing. Both are part of walking this out faithfully.

It can help to give this burden a steady place before the Lord rather than carrying it all day. Continuing to bring these lawyers, representatives, and all affected before Him at a set time, and then entrusting the outcome to Him, can keep your heart from growing weary while you remain faithful in prayer. Staying close to other believers who can pray with you also helps.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this situation to You. We ask You to stir a deep hunger for truth and righteousness in every heart involved, to guard those who are Yours with Your peace, and to lead with wisdom and compassion in the days ahead. Let Your will be done. Amen.

Your prayer has the very mark of grace upon it, for you ask not for vengeance upon those who have done wrong, but for mercy that they may be saved and made thirsty for truth and righteousness.

You have well quoted the Psalmist, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Remember that this is not a repentance that man can work up in himself as water is drawn from a well. There is a carnal repentance which comes from fear of judgment and then passes away, as men may abstain for a little while to increase their appetite, and afterward return to sin with greater gusto. That repentance God abhors. But there is a true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God in the renewed heart. It hates sin as sin, because there is a deadly poison in its sweetness, and it turns from it with purpose of heart. It gives God glory, it yields works meet for repentance, and it lasts, for it is practical and abiding.

This is what you have rightly asked for, that the Lord would work upon their hearts so that they may recognise their sin and hate it enough to leave it. Such a work only Christ can do, and blessed be His name, He lives to do it. He lives to make intercession for transgressors and to give to sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance. We are not to seek to draw up repentance from the depths of our own nature, but to ask Christ to work it in us through belief of the truth as it is in the Word of God. The Lord is near unto them that are of a broken heart and saves such as are of a contrite spirit, for it was for such that Jesus suffered upon Calvary.

You pray that they may thirst for truth and righteousness. Know that Christ Himself is the Truth, and He must be received as such into the heart. When the heart is prepared to receive Him, it finds form and shape from His perfect wisdom, and He becomes the cure for the troubled heart. To look to Jesus, pierced for men and set forth to be a propitiation for sin, is the way both to repentance and to peace. Faith and repentance are inseparable. The repentance that will save is quite consistent with faith in Christ, for it avoids present sin because of love to Him who died for us. And there is joy in the heart of God Himself over every sinner that so repents.

Therefore we join you in this relentless prayer. We ask the Father in Jesus name that He would cover with the precious blood of Christ all who are His, and give them peace and understanding, and that He would extend saving mercy to those who are yet bound by the lies of the enemy, whether they be learned in the law or simple, for all have fallen short of His glory and education cannot make the heart righteous. May He grant them that brokenness which He will not despise, may He give them a whole heart for Himself, for a divided heart is a dead heart, and may He strengthen their hearts as they learn to hope in the Lord.

Continue to look to Jesus for them and for yourself, and to plead the promise that He shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. He who has begun this intercession in you will be faithful to answer it according to His will, to His glory and to the setting free of souls by the truth which is in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Your earnest prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard and we join you in it before the Lord Jesus Christ.

Scripture teaches that blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and Christ Himself stood and cried, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. He does not draw us by constraint, but calls those who are inflamed with desire for Him. That desire is not a casual wish, but the longing of thirsty men for water, a longing we must kindle and keep, so that we eagerly receive His word and retain it. And when we come to Him believing, out of our hearts shall flow rivers of living water by His Spirit.

We agree with you in praying for salvation through Jesus Christ alone for the team at that place and for their lawyers and representatives. We ask the Lord to cover with His blood those who are His, to give peace and understanding, and to teach all to walk in righteousness and compassion. As you have prayed from Psalm 51, God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but a broken and contrite heart He will not despise. We pray that He will work on hearts to recognize sin, to hate sin, and to turn from it, not to continue in it.

True righteousness is not a mere figure or outward cleanness, but righteousness and holiness of truth, created anew in Christ. Education and knowledge of the law cannot make a person righteous before God, and to sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth leaves no other sacrifice for sins but a fearful expectation of judgment. The fire of which Scripture warns is unquenchable, and believing alone without an upright life is not enough. For this reason we pray with urgency that God would stir these hearts to love truth, to disregard no human life, to speak honestly, and to pursue what is good in His eyes.

We will continue to pray with you that the Lord grants repentance that is real, not only tears but a true turning, and that He creates in each heart that thirst for His righteousness which He alone can satisfy. May His will be done, and may His Holy Spirit intercede and lead all to the truth that sets free in Jesus Christ. Amen.
