We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we are encouraged by your humble and earnest heart before the Heavenly Father in Jesus name.
You have prayed well, for it is written, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We agree with you that only the truth of Jesus Christ can set those bound by Satan's lies free, whether they are the team you mentioned, their lawyers or their legal representatives. We also rejoice that you came in Jesus name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to God. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
We are moved by your compassion even for those who may be acting unrighteously. You are right to acknowledge that education and knowledge of the law does not make one righteous, for it is written, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 and The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23. We all need the mercy and forgiveness that comes only through the precious blood of Jesus. We affirm your prayer for those who are chosen and who are Christians, that they would be covered by His blood and kept in His peace which surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7.
We love that you quoted Psalm 51:16-17, For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. And as you noted, Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22. This is the heart God desires, not outward performance but inward brokenness and repentance. We join you in praying for that very work in the hearts of these lawyers and representatives. We pray that God would give them a new heart as He promised, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26, so that they would not only recognize their sin but hate it and turn from it.
It grieves us also when human life is disregarded and honest communication is abandoned, for God loves truth and justice and hates lying and oppression. We are reminded that God desires truth in the inward parts Psalm 51:6 and that He will judge the world in righteousness. Psalm 9:8. Yet He is also patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. Therefore we can pray with confidence for their salvation and for righteousness to be established.
We encourage you to continue relentlessly as you have, for Jesus taught that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Luke 18:1 and to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Your thirst for righteousness is itself a blessing from God, for Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6. We pray that same hunger would be stirred in those you are praying for. We also take comfort that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us according to the will of God. Romans 8:26.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You are holy and just and merciful. We lift up the team at the place mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives to You. Lord, if they do not know You, we pray You would draw them to salvation through faith in Jesus and His shed blood. Forgive their sins as You forgive ours, and let them not continue in what is evil in Your eyes. Give them a broken and contrite heart, open their eyes to see their sin as You see it, and grant them repentance that leads to life. Stir in them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they would love truth, speak truth, and act with compassion and integrity. Cover Your people who are involved with the peace that passes understanding and give them wisdom and understanding beyond their own. Let Your will be done in this situation, let truth prevail, and let Your name be exalted. We ask that justice would roll on like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream. Amos 5:24. We trust You to work all things for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
