Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we can be saved.

We are deeply moved by your humility and compassion in this prayer. You rightly recognize that education and position do not make a person righteous, for it is written that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23 and there is none righteous, no not one in Romans 3:10. The heart is deceitful above all things in Jeremiah 17:9, and even those trained in the law can be bound by sin and deception when their hearts are not submitted to Christ. Your prayer does not boast and does not look down on others but grieves over sin and longs for their redemption, and that reflects the heart of our Father who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4.

We stand with you in praying for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We pray that the God of this world who has blinded the minds of the unbelieving in 2 Corinthians 4:4 would no longer hold them captive, and that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ would shine upon them. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life in John 14:6 and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free in John 8:32. We pray that truth would indeed set them free from Satan's lies.

We also pray as you have prayed from Psalm 51:16-17 that God does not delight in outward sacrifice but in a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. We ask the Father to give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, to take away the heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh that can recognize sin, hate sin, and turn from living a sinful life. We pray they would hunger and thirst for righteousness, for it is written blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled in Matthew 5:6.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this team and every lawyer and legal representative connected to them. Lord, You see where truth has been disregarded and where human life and honest communication have not been honored. We ask You to stir their hearts and convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Grant them an unquenchable thirst for truth and for righteousness. Break their hearts over sin and lead them to repentance. Forgive their sins through the precious blood of Jesus shed on the cross and cover those who are Yours, who are chosen and who believe, with Your peace and understanding that surpasses all understanding. Teach them to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate. Let Your will be done in this situation and let no evil be accomplished in Your sight. For those who do not yet know You, we pray for their salvation, that they would confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. For our brother or sister who has brought this request, grant peace, patience and freedom from bitterness, and help us all to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us as taught in Matthew 5:44, trusting that vengeance belongs to You in Romans 12:19. We thank You for Your Holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us continually. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ on high and we ask all this according to Your perfect will, in Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. We hear the weight you carry for the team at ### and their lawyers, and the grief you feel when truth and respect for life seem disregarded. Your humility comes through, not wanting to boast or look down on others, but simply asking God to work in hearts, and we want to stand with you in that.

What you are asking for, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, is something only God can create in a person. We can ask, we can intercede, and we trust the Holy Spirit to do the deep work of softening and convicting in His way and timing. It helps us to remember that our part is faithful prayer while leaving the outcome in His hands.

One simple way to stay steady in this is to keep a short, consistent rhythm of prayer for them by name when you already pray, and then consciously place them back in God's care each time, asking for His will to be done and for peace for you as you wait.

Father, we lift this team and their legal representatives to You in Jesus name. Work gently in their hearts, give them a love for what is true and right, and show them mercy. Cover those who are Yours with peace and understanding, and teach us all to walk humbly and compassionately. Let Your will be done, amen.

Your prayer is heard and we join with you in it before the throne of grace, for there is no more blessed hunger in this world than a hunger and thirst after righteousness. Our Lord has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled, and that promise is your warrant to pray without ceasing for this very thing. You have asked rightly that the truth shall make men free, and that truth is not a notion but a Person, even Jesus Christ who said I am the way, the truth, and the life.

You have prayed as David prayed, and you have quoted him well. God delights not in sacrifice nor in burnt offering, but a broken and contrite heart He will not despise. Genuine sorrow for sin is no trifle and no mere sentiment. It is like the breaking of bones within a man, and when the heart is truly broken on account of sin, there the Lord delights to bind up. He has chosen One whose own heart was broken to be the Healer of broken hearts, for Jesus died with a broken heart that broken hearts might be healed. Pray on that He would bring that holy brokenness to those for whom you intercede, that they may not only see their sin but loathe it and turn from it, for when sin is loathed, pardon is freely given for the sake of the great atoning Sacrifice.

You are right to confess that education and station cannot make a man righteous, for all have fallen short of the glory of God. There was before the bar of Justice an absolute transfer made of guilt from His elect to Himself, for He has made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. This is our only hope, whether for a lawyer or for any other sinner. We stand accepted not for anything we are or can be, but entirely and wholly through the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. It is His stripes that heal us, and His blood that covers those who are His. Therefore we pray with you that His precious blood would cover His chosen, and that those who are yet bound by the lies of the enemy would be brought to know Him who alone can save.

Continue in relentless prayer, for the Lord Jesus Christ lives to pray for sinners, and the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us. Ask that the Lord would stir these hearts, chase error from them, and give them that unquenchable thirst which expels the love of sin and fills the soul with love for that which is good and true and honest. He who creates the hunger will also satisfy it, and those who truly hunger after righteousness, after the righteousness which Christ wrought and the righteousness which the Spirit works within, shall be filled. May the Lord teach them to be compassionate as He is compassionate, to hate the sin they once loved, and to walk in newness of life, dead to sin and alive unto righteousness. Let your will be done, Father, and let Christ be exalted in every heart. Amen.
