Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we say amen to your humble and earnest intercession in Jesus name.

We are encouraged by your heart that does not boast and does not look down on others but recognizes that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God as it is written in Romans 3:23, and that even the educated and those trained in the law can be bound in horrible sins and in need of the Savior. It is true that knowledge and position do not make a person righteous, for there is none righteous on their own, and only God can give a new heart and a right spirit.

You prayed rightly that the truth shall set them free, and we cling to that promise where Jesus said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. Jesus himself is the truth, for He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. The enemy blinds minds, as it is written, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. 2 Cor 4:4. So we agree with you in asking that the Lord would lift that blindness from the team you mentioned and from their lawyers and legal representatives and draw them to repentance and salvation, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim 2:4.

We also join you in praying for those who are chosen and who are in Christ, that the precious blood of Jesus would cover them and keep them, and that they would be given peace and understanding in the midst of this struggle. We pray that the Lord teaches us all to be righteous and compassionate, and to hunger and thirst for what is right, for Jesus taught, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matt 5:6. We ask the Father to stir hearts as you have prayed, to create that holy thirst that cannot be quenched by anything but His righteousness.

You quoted Psalm 51 well and we stand on it with you, For you don't delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:16-17. This is our prayer together, that God would work on their hearts to bring true brokenness and godly sorrow that leads to repentance, that they would come to hate their sin and turn from living a sinful life, and that they would no longer disregard human life and honest communication. We pray the Lord would grant them godly sorrow which works repentance to salvation. 2 Cor 7:10.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this team and their lawyers and representatives before You. Lord, have mercy on them and forgive their sins, and let them not continue to do what is evil in Your eyes. Open their eyes to see their sin as You see it, break their hearts with true contrition, and save them by Your grace. Let Your will be done in this situation and let truth and justice prevail. For those who belong to You, cover them with the blood of Jesus, guard their hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, and give them wisdom and understanding and compassion as they walk through this trial. Teach us all to walk righteously and to love mercy and to walk humbly with You. Micah 6:8. We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26. We pray You would pour out an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness upon all involved, that lies would be exposed and truth would reign, and that Your name would be exalted on high. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in relentless prayer, for we ought always to pray and not to faint. Luke 18:1. And to pray without ceasing. 1 Thess 5:17. The Lord hears the prayers of the righteous and He is faithful to act according to His perfect will and timing, and He will bring forth justice and mercy in His way.

We hear the burden in your prayer for this team and their lawyers, and the grief you feel when truth and honest communication are disregarded. It is a humble and loving thing to pray not from a place of looking down on others, but asking God to work in their hearts and to give them a real thirst for what is right. We join you in that.

That thirst you are praying for is ultimately a heart matter before it is a behavior matter. God is the one who softens a heart, helps a person see sin clearly, and draws them toward truth and compassion. We can keep bringing them before Him persistently while entrusting the outcome and the timing to Him, which also guards our own hearts from carrying bitterness when progress feels slow.

One simple way to stay steady in relentless prayer without it becoming heavy is to set aside a short, consistent time to lift these specific people by name to the Lord, pray as you have for a broken and contrite heart and a love for truth, and then consciously leave them in His hands for the day. It helps to also ask Him to keep your own heart peaceful and clear as you pray.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers to You in Jesus' name. Work in their hearts, bring them to know Your truth and mercy, and lead them to walk in righteousness and compassion. Cover Your people with Your peace and understanding, and let Your will be done. Amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a right and needful petition, and we have joined our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

You have well quoted the Psalmist, for the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. This is that true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God. It is not a poor and short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a season and then returns to it with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin, a hearty and sincere sorrow that gives glory to the omniscience of God and to the righteousness of His holy law, saying, Thy law is holy and just and good, but I am carnal, sold under sin. Such repentance is inseparable from faith, for no faith is genuine but such as is consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in Christ who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin through faith in His blood.

We have therefore prayed with you that the Lord would work upon the hearts of those of whom you speak, the team and those learned in the law, as well as upon our own hearts, for we all have fallen short of the glory of God. We do not ask God to wink at sin, nor to bless any course that is evil in His eyes, but we ask that He would grant that godly sorrow which needeth not to be repented of, which leads a man to hate his sin and to leave the sins he loved before and show that he in earnest grieves by doing so no more. Where there is honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, there is the token that the Spirit has wrought, and where there is true repentance there is the full and free remission of sins through the precious blood of Christ.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This thirst is itself a gift from God, and it is satisfied only in Christ, the Sun of Righteousness. We have prayed that the Lord in His goodness, which ought to lead men to repentance, would stir these souls to see their need, to look to Jesus who shed His precious blood for the redemption of His people, and to find in Him not only pardon for crimes of deepest dye but a new heart that loves truth and walks in compassion and honesty. May He cover His chosen with peace and understanding, and may He teach all of us to love righteousness not for any reward to be gained, but because He is holy and worthy.

Continue steadfast in prayer, and look to Jesus, for it is beholding Him that begets repentance. He delights in mercy and His mercy endureth forever, and whosoever will trust His Son shall be saved. May the Lord grant you and those for whom you intercede a lasting work of grace, a practical repentance that yields works meet for repentance and endures through months and years, to the glory of His holy name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

It is good and blessed to pray in this way. Scripture says, blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. The Lord himself cried out, if anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. He does not draw us by force, but he calls those who are inflamed with desire for him. Those who come thirsting as a thirsty man longs for water will eagerly receive his word and will not grow weary, and he promises that whoever drinks the water he gives will never thirst again, for it will become in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

You have prayed well also from Psalm 51. God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart he will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up in pride or seek vengeance, but is quiet and humble and ready to be taught. We cannot create this in ourselves. It is God who gives the contrite and humbled heart, sober and watchful and full of repentance. So we ask him to do this work, for you and for those for whom you pray.

We join you in praying for the team at the company you named, and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We pray that God would have mercy on them and save them through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for the word is near, that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. We pray that the Lord would open their eyes to see their sin, to hate it, and to turn from it, and that he would make them new, created in righteousness and holiness of truth, not the outward righteousness of the law but the true righteousness that comes from being made sons through him.

We also pray that God would cover those who are in Christ with his peace and understanding, and teach all of us to put on the breastplate of righteousness, which is a life of universal virtue that no enemy can pierce. May he make us all to love truth and to speak it with compassion, to show mercy, to be humble, and to walk honestly in all our dealings, remembering that we too fall short of his glory and live only by his grace.

We thank God that his Holy Spirit intercedes for us, and we encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, giving thanks for all things and trusting that his will is good. May the Lord stir in every heart involved a true and lasting thirst for his truth and his righteousness, and may he lead all to drink deeply of Christ, in whom alone is forgiveness and life.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Your prayer for a deep and unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is right and good, and God hears that kind of praying. Jesus Himself said blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. That hunger is a watershed in a person's life, because it turns the heart toward God as the only one who can truly satisfy it.

Scripture shows that every person carries a deep thirst inside, a thirst for God Himself, like a deer panting for water. We try to fill it with many other things, but it returns until we come to Christ. He said, if anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. He is able to quench that spiritual thirst because He is God, and only a living relationship with Him brings real peace and understanding.

You are right to note that education, position, or knowledge of the law does not make a person righteous. The Bible teaches that many have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge, being ignorant of the righteousness God provides and seeking instead to establish their own righteousness by works or by learning. True righteousness is not earned by keeping the law. The man who does those things shall live by them, but no one can be good enough on his own. The righteousness God gives is imputed through faith in Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed for our redemption. With the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

That is why your prayer for broken and contrite hearts is so biblical. God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone. What He will not despise is a broken spirit and a contrite heart that recognizes sin, hates it, and turns from it. God looks not on outward appearance as man does, but on the heart. He knows what is in the heart, and His judgment is according to truth. It is not our place to judge quickly or harshly, for that belongs to Him, but it is our place to pray for mercy, for conviction, and for the Holy Spirit to bear witness to the truth and to draw people to repentance.

It is also good that you do not boast or look down on others, acknowledging that all have fallen short of the glory of God. We should not blame God for the evil, dishonesty, and disregard for life we see in the world. Those things come from sin in the human heart, not from Him. Instead we long for redemption and pray for God to work, to stir hearts, to give a love for truth and compassion, and to preserve people by His lovingkindness and truth.

Continue to pray as you are praying, asking that those who are still bound by lies would be set free by the truth that is in Christ, that those who belong to Him would be covered by His blood and kept in peace, and that the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us would soften hearts to receive the testimony of Jesus. God has planted that thirst in every heart, and He is faithful to fill all who truly hunger and thirst for His righteousness through faith in His Son. May His will be done and His name be exalted as you keep bringing these people before Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. We are glad that you asked us to join with you in intercession.

We have continued to bring before the Father in Jesus name the team you mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives, that those who are bound by Satan's lies would be set free, for it is written the truth shall make you free in John 8:32. We have also continued to ask for the precious blood of Jesus to cover those who are chosen and those who are in Christ, that He would give them peace and understanding and teach them to be righteous and compassionate.

We join you in praying Psalm 51:17 that God would grant a broken and contrite heart that He will not despise, and that He would work on hearts to bring recognition of sin and a hatred for sin so that they may turn from what is evil in His eyes. We agree with you in asking Him to stir hearts that disregard human life and honest communication, and to create in them a hunger and thirst for righteousness as promised in Matt 5:6.

If your request was answered and you have seen God move to bring truth and righteousness and conviction of heart, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that He will keep you steadfast in prayer and fill you with His peace as you trust His will. We ask all of this in Jesus name, amen.
