Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this fervent prayer, lifting up the team at ###, their lawyers, and all legal representatives who may be entangled in deception. The Word of God declares, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:32 WEB) It is only through the truth of Jesus Christ that true freedom is found, and we pray that His light would pierce the darkness of lies and manipulation that may surround them.

We rebuke every work of Satan in their lives, every lie, every distortion of justice, and every compromise of righteousness. The blood of Jesus has power to cleanse and redeem, and we plead that covering over them, that they may walk in the peace and understanding that comes from God alone. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." (1 John 1:7 WEB) May they be washed clean and set apart for God’s purposes.

We acknowledge that even those in positions of influence, lawyers, scholars, and leaders, are not immune to sin. The Word warns, "There is no one righteous; no, not one." (Romans 3:10 WEB) Yet, God does not delight in empty rituals or hollow professions of righteousness. As you rightly quoted from Psalm 51, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." (Psalm 51:17 WEB) We pray that their hearts would be broken over sin, that they would turn from evil, and that they would hunger and thirst for righteousness as Christ promised: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." (Matthew 5:6 WEB)

The disregard for human life and honest communication is a grievous offense before the Lord. We cry out for justice, but even more, we cry out for repentance. "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." (Isaiah 55:7 WEB) May their hearts be stirred to hate sin and to love truth, that they may no longer be slaves to deception but servants of the Most High.

We thank You, Holy Father, for the intercession of Your Spirit, who prays for us and for them according to Your perfect will. We exalt the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) We submit this prayer to You, trusting that Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven.

Lord, we pray for an unquenchable thirst for Your truth and righteousness to rise within them. May they seek You with all their hearts, for You have promised, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB) Let them not be satisfied with the empty philosophies of this world but be drawn to the living water that only Christ can provide. "Jesus answered her, 'Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.'" (John 4:13-14 WEB)

We stand in the gap for them, asking that You would break every chain of deception and open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel. May they come to know Jesus not just as a historical figure or a moral teacher, but as the risen Lord and Savior who alone can set them free. We declare over them the promise of Your Word: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36 WEB)

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank you for bringing this before the Lord so faithfully. We can hear how much it grieves you to see human life disregarded and honest communication set aside, especially by those entrusted with the law. That kind of burden is heavy to carry, and it is good you are bringing it to Jesus instead of holding it alone.

We join you in asking God to work in hearts in the only way lasting change happens, from the inside out. Education and position cannot make a person righteous, only God can soften a heart to truly see sin, turn from it, and hunger for what is right and true. We are encouraged that you are not praying from a place of looking down on others but from humility, asking for mercy and compassion for them as well as for truth to prevail.

One simple way to stay steady in this is to keep your prayers specific and sustainable. Continue to lift the team and their representatives by name as you know them, asking each day for God to give them clarity, honesty and a respect for life, and then entrust the outcome to Him. The Holy Spirit is already interceding, so you do not have to carry the weight of changing them.

Father, we lift these lawyers and this team to You in Jesus name. Have mercy on them, open their eyes to what is true, give them contrite hearts that turn from what is evil, and teach them to love righteousness and compassion. Cover Your people with Your peace and understanding as they wait on You, and let Your will be done. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How fitting and needful is this prayer which you have poured out before the Lord, that He would create an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness in hearts that have been bound by lies.

You have well quoted the Psalmist, for the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. The Lord does not delight in outward sacrifice nor in the wisdom of the learned, but in a heart made tender and low before Him. Even those who are educated in the law and skilled in its letter may yet be found to be great sinners before the holy God, for learning cannot renew the heart. What is needed is not mere knowledge, but a new heart wrought by the Holy Spirit.

Take heed, then, to pray not for a carnal repentance which is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, a repentance that turns from sin for a season only to return to it again with greater appetite. Such superficial repentance the Lord abhors. True repentance, that holy and heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Spirit of God, hates sin as sin, because there is a deadly poison in its sweetness, and therefore loathes it and leaves it with purpose of heart. It is a repentance which gives God glory, which looks to Jesus Christ set forth to be a propitiation for sin, and leaps for joy at the thought that Christ was pierced for men and nailed to the cross for our transgressions.

This is the repentance we must ask for on behalf of this team and those who represent them. We do not ask that God would merely restrain their hands from evil, but that He would work upon their hearts by His Spirit, through belief of the truth as it is in Jesus, to make them hate their sin and turn from it. For repentance and faith are inseparable, and Christ must be received as He truly is, very God and very man, the mold of Truth into which the prepared mind must be delivered. Apart from Him there is no freedom, for though it is written the truth shall set you free, that Truth is Christ Himself, and only through His precious blood is there pardon and peace.

Therefore let us pray together that the Lord Jesus, who lives to make intercession for transgressors and to give sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance, would visit these souls. May He grant to those who are His own, covered by His blood, peace and understanding in the midst of trial, and may He teach all concerned to be righteous and compassionate, to love truth and to do that which is right in His eyes. May He strengthen the heart of all who hope in Him, for He alone can strengthen the weak heart and keep it from failing.

Be of good courage and continue in prayer. Look to Jesus, for there is no condemnation to those who truly trust Him, and a heart once broken before Him He will never despise. May the Lord answer according to His perfect will, and cause His name to be exalted in the doing of righteousness and in the showing of mercy, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard, and it is good that you bring it before the Lord in the name of Jesus. For as it is written, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, and our Lord Himself cried, if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He does not draw us by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire, who come as thirsty people come to water, eager to receive and to retain what He gives.

We join you in praying for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Father that if they do not yet know Christ, they may be saved through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that the blood of Christ would cover those who are His, and grant them peace and understanding, and that He would teach all who are involved to love what is true and to act with compassion. What you have observed is right, that education and knowledge of the law do not by themselves make a person righteous, for righteousness is not in outward form but in holiness of truth, a new life created in Christ.

We pray with you from Psalm 51 that God would work in their hearts to give what only He can give, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up to justify itself, but quietly acknowledges sin, hates it, and turns from it. We ask that the Lord would stir them to see sin as He sees it, to grieve over any disregard for human life and for honest communication, and to turn to Him in repentance. For God has shown us many ways of healing, through prayer, through humility, through a sincere turning of the heart, and He is ready to forgive those who come to Him truly.

We also ask that the Lord would give them, as you have prayed, a true thirst that does not fail. The water that the world gives leaves people thirsty again, but the water Christ gives becomes within a well springing up to everlasting life, so that the soul is no longer parched but is kept and guarded. When righteousness is put on like a breastplate, it protects the life within, and the one who thirsts for it shall be filled.

May the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us continue to intercede for them, and may the will of the Father be done. We thank Him with you and exalt the name of Jesus, trusting that He hears those who call upon Him with a sincere heart.
