Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this fervent cry for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, for this is the very heart of God’s desire for His children. Jesus Himself declared, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). This hunger is not a fleeting emotion but a divine dissatisfaction with anything less than God’s perfect will, a longing that only He can satisfy.

We lift up the team at and their legal representatives, recognizing that even those trained in the law can become entangled in deception when they reject the Author of all truth. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB), and his lies often masquerade as wisdom in the world’s eyes. But we declare that the blood of Jesus covers every believer, breaking every chain of darkness and exposing every lie with the light of God’s Word. "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of pride and self-sufficiency that blinds even the educated to their need for repentance. The apostle Paul, a man of great learning, counted all his credentials as loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ (Philippians 3:8 WEB). True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10 WEB), and apart from Him, even the most brilliant minds are foolish in God’s sight (1 Corinthians 3:19 WEB). We pray that their hearts would be broken over sin, not with worldly sorrow that leads to death, but with godly sorrow that leads to repentance and life (2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB).

Lord, we ask You to stir within them a holy discontent with compromise. Let them see the horror of sin as You see it, and let that vision compel them to turn away from evil. "Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions. My sin is constantly before me" (Psalm 51:2-3 WEB). May they hate sin as You hate it, and may they love righteousness as You love it. We pray that their legal training would no longer be used to justify injustice but would instead be surrendered to Your purposes, that they might defend the oppressed and uphold Your truth.

We also lift up those who are already in Christ among them, asking that You would deepen their faith and embolden their witness. Let them be salt and light in their profession, seasoning every conversation with grace and truth (Colossians 4:6 WEB). May they walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), even in the midst of legal battles, knowing that You are their ultimate Defender.

Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8 WEB). We trust that He is already at work in the hearts of those who do not yet know You, drawing them to repentance. We ask that You would remove every obstacle, pride, fear, or deception, that stands in the way of their salvation. Let them encounter the living Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Without faith in Jesus, no one can come to You, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB).

We pray for a revival of truth in the legal profession, that justice would flow like a river and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24 WEB). May those who are called by Your name rise up and be voices for the voiceless, defenders of the innocent, and champions of Your law. Let them not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, so they may prove what is Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2 WEB).

Above all, we pray that Your will be done in this situation, Lord. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, for His glory and honor. Amen.

We hear the weight of grief in your words, and we stand with you in this burden. It is painful to watch people, especially those who should uphold justice and truth, act in ways that disregard human life and honest communication. Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for righteousness is right at the heart of what breaks God’s heart, too.

We are reminded that true repentance is never just a fleeting sorrow that leaves a person doing the same things again. Real repentance is a change of direction that makes sin lose its appeal, and that kind of transformation often begins when someone catches even a glimpse of God’s goodness and truth. So your prayer is not a small thing. You are asking for what only God can do: awaken a hunger they cannot ignore.

As you continue in relentless prayer, we would gently encourage you to pray for them by name if you know them, perhaps setting a daily reminder to lift them up. Persistence in prayer can keep our own hearts tender toward those we are tempted to simply condemn, and it positions us to be part of God’s work in ways we cannot see yet.

Let us pray with you:

Father, we ask you to stir the hearts of these lawyers and representatives. Let the truth they encounter become a fire in their bones that they cannot extinguish. Give them a hunger for righteousness that outweighs every lie and every shortcut. For those who belong to you, cover them with your peace and give them courage to act justly and love mercy. We ask for genuine, life-changing repentance for all involved, and we thank you that no heart is beyond your reach. In Jesus’ name, amen.

That cry for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is among the sweetest sounds that rise from a renewed heart, for it proves the Sun of Righteousness has already begun to dawn upon the soul. Christ is that Sun, the center and King of all truth, from Him alone streams the light that reveals both the disease and the Remedy. To pray that lawyers and their companions be delivered from Satan’s lies, you do well. Yet remember, the righteousness which saves is not a gradual mending of vicious habits, but the perfect righteousness of another even Jesus Christ, Jehovah Tsidkenu, the Lord our Righteousness. All our own righteousnesses are as filthy rags; self-righteousness is a smoldering heap of rubbish before the Holy One. If the God of Truth is to forget their sins, it must be through a righteousness they do not produce but receive by faith alone.

Therefore, if you would see them set free, point them to the propitiation set forth by God. The blood of Jesus declares His righteousness for the remission of sins. It is not by comparing themselves among themselves that they shall stand, for a perfect righteousness the Law demands, and only Christ supplies it. Plead that the Holy Spirit would break their hearts with the hammer of the Law, making them loathe every false refuge, until with broken and contrite spirits they flee to Him who justifies the ungodly. A sacrifice God will not despise is that very brokenness, and it is the Spirit’s work. So pray on, relentlessly, for a thirst they cannot quench at any earthly cistern. Thirst is God’s gift, the empty cup which Christ delights to fill.

But mark this: you who pray must yourself buy the truth at any price. Buy it in doctrine, cleaving to every jot and tittle of inspired Scripture. Buy it in experience, letting no mere notional head-knowledge pass for the Spirit’s inward work. Buy it in practice, walking in honest conversation and straightforward dealing, for God is light. In this age of creeping lethargy and nullification of truth, be valiant for the faith once delivered to the saints. Fear not the face of man; submit wholly to the will of God. Truth is a weapon that must never be sheathed until the victory is won. Let your light so shine that lawyers, seeing your steadfastness, may be pricked in their conscience and compelled to ask, “What must I do to be saved?”

And never separate righteousness from the Sun of Righteousness himself. Christ is not merely an example of righteousness; He is righteousness incarnate. To adore Him is no idolatry; it is salvation. Trust Him, then, to accomplish His own purpose, to spread righteousness and to save sinners, for nothing shall turn Him from that pursuit. His Name shall be called the Lord our Righteousness, and on that granite rock your prayers must rest. Go up and down in the strength of this truth, boasting only in Jehovah, and pray with faith, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. The righteousness by which that man is righteous, however, is not his own but Christ’s, imputed to him and received by faith. So approach the throne, not pleading your earnestness, but His blood and intercession. Lay hold of that declaration: He is set forth to declare His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Pray that those bound by Satan’s lies may believe, and believing, be made the righteousness of God in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

An unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is exactly the appetite our Lord blesses. He did not say, Blessed are those who merely approve of righteousness, but, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. A thirsty man does not stand at a distance from the water and admire it; he goes to it and drinks until his thirst is satisfied. So this prayer must lead us to Christ himself, who cried, If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink. The truth you are asking for is not only a correct legal outcome or a set of honest facts. The truth is a Person. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and true righteousness is the new creation formed by the Spirit in righteousness and holiness of truth.

It is right to pray for those lawyers and representatives, but guard your spirit while you do it. You yourself said you do not want to boast or look down on them. Keep that posture. The educated and the skilled in law fall just as the poor and simple do. A person may know statutes and precedents and still be a stranger to the righteousness of God. So do not pray as one who has achieved righteousness, but as one who has received mercy. The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Pray that their hearts become contrite, and let your own heart remain contrite as well. If intercession becomes contempt, it stops being intercession.

Pray also that they are not merely restrained from doing evil but changed. Some people turn from sin only through fear, embarrassment, or the cost of losing a case, while the love of sin remains alive inside them. That is not freedom. Ask the Holy Spirit to make them hate sin because it offends God, and to give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. But remember, that thirst cannot be satisfied by legal skill, education, or human effort. It is satisfied only by Jesus Christ, through repentance and faith. Pray that they come under the cleansing of His blood not as a formula spoken over them while they continue unchanged, but by true confession and turning to Him.

There is an urgency here. Scripture says the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold down the truth in unrighteousness. When people suppress truth by unrighteousness, they are not in a safe place. So pray with urgency, but not with triumph. Ask God to break the lies that bind them, to give them a hatred of sin, and to create in them a clean heart and a right spirit. And keep praying for your own thirst as well, because the one who asks for an unquenchable thirst must also drink. Keep asking, keep thirsting, and let the Spirit teach you to pray until you see what God will do.

What you are asking for is exactly what God alone can give, and he has promised to answer it. The thirst you are praying for does not begin with more education or sharper arguments. It begins when a person sees God as he is and, in that light, sees himself as he really is. True revelation of God brings a true revelation of self. That is what creates a hunger and a thirst after righteousness. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. So keep praying that God would reveal himself to those lawyers and legal representatives, not merely expose their strategies, but show them their own hearts.

Psalm 51 is the right place to land. God is not impressed by religious performance or professional credentials. The sacrifice he will not despise is a broken spirit and a contrite heart. Pray that their hearts would be broken over sin, not just embarrassed by consequences. A person can be learned in the law and still be ignorant of the righteousness of God. Paul described people who had a zeal for God but not according to knowledge, going about to establish their own righteousness rather than submitting to the righteousness of God. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Do not put your hope in their degrees or their ability to reason. Put your hope in the fact that Jesus bore the curse for sinners and that by faith God counts a person righteous. In Christ, mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. He can be both just and the justifier of the one who believes. Truth is not a legal technique. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me. Pray that they would stop trying to establish their own righteousness and instead come to him with empty hands.

There is a warning here as well. Scripture is clear that whoever practices sin is of the devil, and the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. If these people continue living in sin and calling evil good, they are not safe simply because they are educated or influential. They need repentance, not just a change of strategy. Pray that they would not harden their hearts and store up wrath against the day of righteous judgment. But do not pray from contempt. You said you do not wish to boast or look down on them, and that is right. We all come before God with hearts he already knows. None of us can hide the truth from him.

Keep asking for the same undivided heart for yourself. Pray, Lord, unite my heart to fear your name. The world divides our hearts, and we need God to teach us his way and make us walk in his truth. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. That is the only place where mercy and righteousness meet for any of us. So pray relentlessly, but rest the prayer here: God gives the thirst, God supplies the righteousness, and God alone can turn a sinner's heart.
