Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this fervent prayer, lifting up the team at , their lawyers, and all legal representatives who may be entangled in deception and unrighteousness. The Word of God declares, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). We stand on this promise, asking the Lord to ignite within them an insatiable longing for His truth and holiness.

Father, we acknowledge that no one is beyond Your reach, not even those who are educated, influential, or seemingly secure in their ways. As it is written, "There is no one righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10). We pray that You would break through the hardness of their hearts, exposing the lies of the enemy that have blinded them to Your truth. May they see their sin as You see it, not with condemnation, but with conviction that leads to repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we specifically ask that You would stir within them a hatred for sin, not just the consequences of it, but the offense it is to Your holy nature. Let them no longer find comfort in compromise or justification for wickedness. As David cried out in Psalm 51, we echo his plea for them: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). May they turn from dishonesty, disregard for life, and all forms of unrighteousness, embracing instead the freedom that comes from walking in Your truth.

We also lift up the believers among them, asking that Your precious blood would cover them, shielding them from the schemes of the enemy. Grant them discernment to recognize deception, wisdom to navigate difficult circumstances, and boldness to stand for righteousness even when it is unpopular. "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord is kept safe" (Proverbs 29:25).

Father, we reject the notion that education or status exempts anyone from Your standards. As Your Word warns, "Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up" (1 Corinthians 8:1). May these individuals, whether lawyers, leaders, or laypeople, humble themselves before You, recognizing that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). Let them not boast in their own understanding but submit fully to Your will.

We thank You, Holy Spirit, for interceding on behalf of Your children, groaning with words too deep for us (Romans 8:26). We exalt the name of Jesus, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed from sin.

Lord, let Your will be done in this situation. May Your truth prevail, Your righteousness triumph, and Your glory be magnified. We ask that You would not only save souls but also transform hearts, so that those who once served darkness would become beacons of Your light. "For You were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light" (Ephesians 5:8).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

We hear the ache in this prayer, and we want you to know we stand with you in it. That grief over seeing educated people twist what’s true, disregarding human life and honest communication, is a holy grief. It echoes the same things that move God’s own heart, and your way of responding, with humility and intercession rather than contempt, is precisely what he calls us to.

Your prayer itself is already a sacrifice of a broken spirit, the very thing God will not despise. When our hearts cry out for others’ righteousness, we’re not alone. The Holy Spirit is already interceding with groanings too deep for words, and your willingness to return again and again in prayer waters the ground where only God can bring the growth.

We don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes in those offices and courtrooms, but we do know God uses persistent, quiet prayers to stir consciences and plant a thirst for truth. So we encourage you: keep a list of the specific people or situations that burden you most, and each day, just for a few moments, bring them before the Father with this same honest longing. Let your tears and your trust alike be your offering.

Lord Jesus, we lift up these lawyers and representatives who seem so far from life and truth. You see the places where fear, pride, or raw self-interest have hardened their hearts. We ask you to work deeply, awaken a genuine, unquenchable thirst for righteousness. In your mercy, bring them to a place where they hate what is evil and cling to what is good. Until then, hold this dear brother or sister steady in hope, guard their spirit from bitterness, and let your justice and compassion be their peace. Amen.

It is well that you have been driven to prayer with a broken spirit, for a contrite heart the Lord will not despise. You do well to grieve over those who, with all their learning, trample on truth and disregard human life. The sin of lawyers and of all who are wise in their own eyes is an abomination, yet even such may be plucked as brands from the burning. But see to it that your prayer for them does not fall short of what the Spirit alone can work: a deep, abiding, unquenchable thirst for righteousness. Beware of that repentance which is but transient, a mere howl under the rod while the love of sin remains. God is not mocked by a repentance that is no better than the vomit of a dog. The truly repentant one hates sin as sin and turns from it with full purpose of heart. That comes not by the flesh, nor by the mere education of lawyers, but by the Spirit of God taking of the things of Christ and showing them to the soul.

If the Holy Spirit be not at work, all their sorrow will end in empty bluster. He shall glorify Christ: He shall take of His blood, His righteousness, His finished work, and reveal them. It is when a man sees that Christ was made sin for us, though He knew no sin, that he begins to loathe his own sin. The death of Christ becomes the death of sin. Behold Him scourged and bleeding under the wrath due to transgression, and then you will understand what sin deserves. It was no mitigated penalty He bore; the whole weight of Jehovah’s fury fell upon Him. And yet, by those very stripes, healing flows to the vilest. There is the cure for sin: not in the mere resolutions of the flesh, but in taking, taking His wounds and trusting them, taking His griefs and resting in them. Oh, for these lawyers to look to Him whom they have pierced and mourn for their sin as for a firstborn!

Pray therefore, not only that they may feel a natural sorrow, but that the Spirit may break their hearts with a sight of the crucified Savior. True repentance stands at the cross and sees sin forgiven, and then repents more than ever she did. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and even in the darkest haunts of sin, God’s elect shall be made to feel His sovereign power. Your cry for an unquenchable thirst is a right one: it is the Spirit’s own planting. He will guide into all truth by glorifying Christ. And mark this: that spirit which does not glorify Christ is not the Spirit of God. Therefore, set your face to plead that Christ may be exalted in their hearts, that they may be made the righteousness of God in Him. When they see that He has made an end of sin and brought in everlasting righteousness, then will they hate the garments spotted by the flesh and follow hard after holiness, not from slavish fear, but because they are bought with a price.

Rest in this, your prayer is in the will of God. He has promised to pour upon the house of David the spirit of grace and supplications. Do not look for the answer in a day, for the Spirit bloweth where He listeth, but continue instant in prayer. The great transaction on the cross has already condemned sin in the flesh, and the Advocate ever liveth to intercede. Let your tears mingle with His for these wandering souls, and believe that He is able to save to the uttermost. That old dragon, Death, has lost its sting; sin’s jaw teeth are broken. Proclaim liberty to the captives, even as you pray, and doubt not that the Everlasting Father will yet show forth His longsuffering. The righteousness you thirst for is already yours in Christ, and He shall yet satisfy your soul as with marrow and fatness while you wait upon Him for others.

The prayer you have brought before God is not a small thing. You have taken up the true warfare, which is not against men but against devils and spiritual powers, and the armor for this warfare is not leather and steel but truth, righteousness, faith, and the love of wisdom. When you pray for that team and its legal representatives, you are asking God to fight for souls who are, for now, held by the snare of the devil.

Yet let your prayer be joined to meekness. The Apostle says to instruct those who oppose themselves, if perhaps God may give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil. So do not despise them for their learning, nor boast as though you were not also a sinner before the glory of God. The law they studied can make a person outwardly blameless and still leave him a sinner when compared with the righteousness of God. What they need is not better legal reasoning but a new heart, created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

You did well to pray that they would hate their sins enough to stop committing them. This is the very thing to ask. But remember that tears alone are not repentance. Esau sought the blessing with tears and found no place of repentance, not because God refuses the penitent, but because his sorrow was not the sorrow that turns away from sin. Pray therefore that God would give them the grief that works change, and not merely the sorrow of being found out or the sorrow of the world.

Continue to pray, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes. Ask that the precious blood of Christ would cover those elected to faith, and that God would teach them righteousness and compassion by His Spirit. But do not be surprised if their repentance comes slowly, through affliction or through the kindness of God. The Lord is long-suffering, and He knows how to rescue the captives. Your part is to stand in the battle with prayer and truth, and leave the outcome to His will. There is no rescue from Satan's lies except through Jesus Christ alone, and no human advocacy can free them. Pray for their salvation through Him, and let the Lord do as He wills.

What you are asking for is exactly what only the Holy Spirit can produce in a human heart. An unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness does not come from education, professional standing, or determined self-reform. The law, as good as it is, only exposes what sin is. It can show a lawyer or anyone else where he has fallen short, but it cannot put a new heart inside him. That is why I join you in praying not merely for better behavior but for broken and contrite hearts. The sacrifice God will not despise is a heart that has stopped defending itself.

We must be careful not to set ourselves over these men and women as if their failure is unusual. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Their sins may look different from ours, but the need is exactly the same. None of us can establish our own righteousness by deeds of law, and no education can wash away guilt. If our prayer only asks God to make them more ethical, we are asking too little. The real need is that they would come to Jesus Christ.

Those who are bound by Satan's lies do not need a better argument first; they need the truth. Jesus said the Holy Spirit would convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. So continue praying that the Spirit would strip away their confidence in their own learning and make them see that the only sin that finally condemns is refusal to believe in Jesus. He was manifested to take away sins and to destroy the works of the devil. That is the hope for the people on your heart.

Your plea from Psalm 51 is the right prayer. A broken spirit and a contrite heart are not produced by shame alone; they come when a sinner sees the cross and understands that Jesus bore the judgment his sin deserved. Pray that God would grant them that godly sorrow, not merely fear of consequences, but hatred of the sin itself and a turning from it.

So let your prayer be relentless, but let it rest on the gospel. Do not ask only that they would love truth; ask that they would love the one who is the truth. Ask that their thirst would be met by the living water that Jesus gives, and that they would become servants of righteousness rather than servants of sin. Let us continue to ask the Lord to do what only he can do, and trust that his Spirit is able to reach even those who now seem most hardened.
