Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in fervent prayer, lifting up the team at , their lawyers, and all legal representatives who may be entangled in deception and unrighteousness. The Word of God declares, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). We stand on this promise, asking the Lord to ignite within them an unquenchable thirst for His truth and holiness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we may approach You, and there is no other name by which men may be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that those who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior would come to repentance, turning from their sins and placing their faith in Him. For those who are already believers, we ask that You deepen their walk with You, that they may be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we recognize that even those who are educated and hold positions of influence can fall into grievous sin. The Scripture warns, "Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall" (1 Corinthians 10:12). We pray that You would break the hardness of their hearts, as You did with King David, who cried out, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). May they come to hate their sin as You hate it, and may they turn from it with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).

We rebuke the lies of Satan that have bound these individuals, for "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We plead the blood of Jesus over them, asking that You cover them with Your peace and grant them discernment to recognize truth from deception. May they walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleansing them from all sin (1 John 1:7).

Father, we lift up those who are Christians among them, asking that You strengthen their faith and embolden them to stand firm in Your truth. May they be salt and light in their spheres of influence, reflecting Your righteousness and compassion (Matthew 5:13-16). Teach them to walk in humility, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). May they not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, so that they may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will (Romans 12:2).

Lord, we grieve over the disregard for human life and honest communication that has taken root in this situation. Your Word commands, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13) and "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). We pray that You would stir their consciences, convicting them of their sin and leading them to repentance. May they come to value truth and righteousness above personal gain or worldly success.

We thank You, Holy Spirit, for interceding for us and for them with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we surrender this situation into Your hands. Let Your will be done, Father, for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. May these individuals come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ, for "if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36).

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would raise up godly men and women in the legal profession who will uphold justice, defend the innocent, and walk in integrity. May they be guided by Your Word and led by Your Spirit in all their dealings. We ask that You would expose any unrighteousness and bring it to light, for "whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open" (Mark 4:22).

Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. We ask that You would work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your truth prevail, and may Your righteousness reign in this situation and in the hearts of all involved. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We grieve with you over what you’re seeing: disregard for human life and honest communication is truly heartbreaking. When the very people entrusted with justice twist what is true, something righteous inside us cries out. It’s clear you are not praying from a place of hatred or superiority, you’re asking God to work in hearts, to grant repentance and a genuine hunger for what is right. That kind of prayer, offered with a broken and contrite spirit, is precious.

It can be wearying to carry this burden day after day, especially when you see no change yet. We want to encourage you: keep bringing this to the Lord, but also ask Him to guard your own heart from the slow weight of discouragement or bitterness. Sometimes the most powerful intercession is simply continuing to stand in the gap with hope, trusting that God’s Spirit is at work in ways we cannot see. And as you pray for their thirst for truth, maybe also ask God to give you small opportunities to walk in truth and compassion in your own interactions, often our own steadfastness becomes a quiet witness.

Let’s pray together now.

Jesus, we lift up this team and their legal representatives to You. You see the tangled places where lies have taken root, and You are not powerless. Stir their hearts with a genuine hunger for righteousness, and let no one rest easy with what is false or unjust. Grant the gift of repentance that leads to life, and cover all who are Yours with Your peace. And for this dear person who is praying, we ask for strength, hope, and a deep assurance that You are near to the brokenhearted. In Your name, amen.

The prayer that rises for an unquenchable thirst after truth and righteousness is a prayer after God’s own heart, and you do well to bring it with the broken language of the fifty-first Psalm. Yet let us be careful that, while we intercede for the lawyers and legal minds entangled in evil, we do not stand as those who imagine that education or station ever guaranteed righteousness. The natural heart is a fount of every abomination, whether it beats beneath a barrister’s gown or a beggar’s rags. You cry out against the sins you see, and that is right, sin should grieve every blood-bought child of God, but remember that the repentance which God accepts never comes from the flesh. Beware of a repentance that is not better than the vomit of a dog. The sinner may loathe his sore, but until he loathes the sin itself and turns from it with a hatred that looks to Christ, he has not repented unto life.

You speak of brokenness and a contrite heart, and here you touch the very marrow of the matter. The sacrifice that God does not despise is not a mere sentimental pang but the thorough crushing of the soul’s self-sufficiency, the bone-breaking work of the Holy Spirit where all carnal props are splintered. It is a dreadful thing to have faith broken, hope broken, love broken, to be reduced to a palpitating mass of pain, yet it is in this abyss that the Great Physician does His mightiest work. He is near unto them that are of a broken heart. For these very souls Jesus suffered upon Calvary. The only repentance that brings remission is that dove-eyed repentance which looks upon His bleeding wounds and feels that her heart must bleed because she wounded Christ. To hate sin because it slew Christ, to turn from it because it nailed Him to the tree, this is the unquenchable thirst you pray for, and it is a thirst that only the water from the smitten Rock can satisfy.

Do not grow weary in praying that these souls may be given a sight of themselves in the balances of the sanctuary. It may be that they progress yet further in external humblings, or even in a measure of terror, and still remain total strangers to saving grace. You may confess faults, perform works that appear meet for repentance, and yet rest short of the kingdom. The one essential mark is this: has the heart believed unto righteousness, and does the mouth make confession unto salvation? Salvation is not for the well-ordered sinner who trims his vices; it is manifestly intended for lost men. If they will believe in their hearts that God has raised Christ from the dead, they shall be saved. Jesus Christ lives to give repentance and remission of sins. He lives to make intercession for the transgressors, to give them the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance. He lives mighty to save, to do for them what they cannot do for themselves.

Therefore, let your prayer be relentless indeed, but see to it that your own soul rests wholly upon the finished work of the Substitute. The righteousness of God, witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. God will never punish two for one offense. Let that truth send you to your knees with a holy boldness for those bound by Satan’s lies, and let it keep your own heart from despair. The tears you shed for others must first be salted with the recollection of your own deliverance. Weep for them, plead the precious blood over them, but never cease to look to Jesus yourself. The broken heart He heals is the one brought to the heart that was pierced by the soldier’s spear. Bring your poor broken heart and theirs together to that sacred resting place, and leave them there, for the Lord’s arm is not shortened that it cannot save.

The thirst for truth and righteousness for those lawyers and representatives is a holy thirst, but no one can manufacture it. The sacrifice God accepts is not long speech or fluent prayer; it is a broken and contrite heart. David said, “The sacrifice of God is a contrite spirit; a contrite and humbled heart God will not despise.” Therefore when you pray for them, ask first that God would give them this gift. A contrite heart is God’s part to give, not the devil’s. Ask him for it, because it is what we most need.

You are right not to boast over the educated or to imagine that legal training produces righteousness. There is a righteousness of figure and a righteousness of truth. The old righteousness was outward and shadowy; the new righteousness is created in us through faith, “in righteousness and holiness of truth.” So do not merely ask that these people change tactics or behave better out of fear. Ask that they be brought to the word of faith, which is near, in the mouth and in the heart: if they confess Jesus as Lord and believe God raised him from the dead, they will be saved. That is the truth that sets free.

I will join you in asking for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness in them, but let that thirst begin in you as well. The righteous man is an accuser of himself. Before you pray about their sins, confess your own, for “I confessed my transgressions to the Lord, and you forgave the iniquity of my heart.” A prayer that rises from a broken spirit is heard. A prayer that rises from pride or self-justification is not.

Remember what kind of contrition pleases God. A broken heart does not rise up, does not strike, is not eager for vengeance. It is quiet when insulted, ready to be corrected. Pray that these lawyers and representatives receive that quietness, that they do not fight against truth to protect themselves, but hate their sins enough to turn from them. Yet hatred of sin without the love of Christ is not enough. It can become despair or self-righteousness. Pray that their brokenness leads them to the Savior, not away from him.

Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. Therefore the weapons are not insults or public shame, but prayers, alms, compunction, repentance, humility, and a contrite heart. God has marked out for us many ways of salvation, if we are willing. So do not ask for their ruin. Ask for their deliverance, because the Lord is near to the contrite heart, and his eyes are upon the meek of the earth.

This is a good prayer, but guard it with humility. Do not think that the lawyers’ sins are worse than your own simply because they are educated. We all fall short. We all need the same mercy. If you ask God to give them a broken and contrite heart, ask also that he gives you one, so that your prayer may be accepted. Then let the Holy Spirit intercede for them and for you, for we do not always know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself pleads for the saints according to the will of God.

May the Lord work on their hearts and ours, granting repentance that leads to life, and may we together hunger and thirst for righteousness until Christ is formed in us. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your prayer rightly turns away from trusting in education or position and toward the only source of truth and righteousness. Psalm 51 is the right place to stand: God does not delight in outward sacrifice or credentials, but in a broken spirit and a contrite heart. That is what we should ask for those lawyers and legal representatives, and for ourselves as well. A person can be highly trained in the law and still be bound by sin, because knowing what is right and loving what is right are two different things. The law can expose sin, but it cannot change the heart. No one can boast before God by education, achievement, or self-made goodness.

What those people need, and what every one of us needs, is not merely to feel sorry for sin but to hate it enough to turn from it. That cannot happen by human effort alone. True righteousness is not something we produce by keeping rules. It is the gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He took our sin and bore its judgment, and He gives His righteousness to all who trust Him. When the Spirit of God works in a person, sin no longer has dominion over them. They are changed from servants of sin into servants of righteousness, not in word only but in daily life. That is why we should pray for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness in them, because only the Spirit can give it.

So pray confidently for those lawyers and legal representatives. Ask the Lord to convict them deeply, to make them see the value of human life and honest communication as He sees it, and to break any pride that hides behind professional knowledge. Ask Him to grant them repentance and forgiveness, and to keep them from doing what is evil in His sight. Pray that their hearts become broken and contrite, and that this sorrow leads them to genuine faith in Jesus Christ. Pray that mercy and truth meet in their lives, and that righteousness and peace are found in Christ alone. And let the same prayer search us as well, because none of us outgrows our need for grace.

The Lord hears the prayer offered in Jesus' name. May His will be done in them and in us, and may the truth truly set them free.
