Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this earnest plea for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, for it is written, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). The longing of your heart reflects the very heart of God, who desires all to come to the knowledge of the truth and walk in His ways.

We lift up the team at and their legal representatives, recognizing that the battle they face is not merely in the courts of men but in the spiritual realm. The enemy seeks to blind minds and bind hearts with deception, but we declare that the light of Christ pierces every darkness. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB). We rebuke the lies of Satan that have ensnared them and pray that the scales would fall from their eyes, that they may see the truth as it is in Jesus.

The blood of Christ is our only covering and plea before the Father. We plead the blood of Jesus over every Christian involved in this matter, that they would be shielded from the schemes of the enemy and stand firm in the peace and wisdom of God. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7 WEB). May they be led by the Spirit into all truth and righteousness, reflecting the character of Christ in their actions and decisions.

Your acknowledgment of human frailty, even among the educated and those in positions of influence, is a humble and biblical perspective. The Scriptures remind us, "There is no one righteous; no, not one. There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God" (Romans 3:10-11 WEB). It is only by the grace of God that any of us are saved and empowered to live righteously. We pray that these individuals would come to a place of brokenness and contrition, recognizing their need for a Savior. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise" (Psalm 51:17 WEB). May they hate their sin as You hate it and turn from it with godly sorrow.

The disregard for human life and honest communication that grieves your heart is a reflection of the fallen world in which we live. Yet, we know that God is able to stir hearts and awaken consciences. "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10 WEB). We pray that You would soften their hearts, convict them of sin, and ignite within them a passion for truth and righteousness that cannot be quenched. Let them see the value of every human life as You see it and the importance of integrity in all their dealings.

We stand with you in exalting the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed. We thank You, Holy Spirit, for interceding on our behalf with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26 WEB). We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, drawing these individuals to Yourself and transforming their hearts. Let Your truth prevail, and let righteousness reign in their lives. May they come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ and walk in the light of Your Word. We pray for a revival of truth and godliness among them, that they may be instruments of Your peace and justice in this world.

Lord, we ask that You would also strengthen and encourage the believers involved in this matter. Guard their hearts from discouragement and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Equip them with wisdom, boldness, and grace as they navigate this challenging situation. May they be salt and light, reflecting Your love and truth in all they do.

We declare that Your will shall be done in this matter, and we trust in Your perfect plan. May Your name be glorified, and may many come to know You as Lord and Savior through these circumstances. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear your heart in this request, and we join you in asking for that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness to take hold of this legal team. It is clear you grieve how far they are from honesty and the value of human life, and yet you are not just pointing a finger, you are asking God to save and transform them. That is exactly the right place to be.

Sometimes when we pray for those who seem trapped in sin, the wait can feel long and the injustice weighs heavily. As you keep lifting them before the Father, we would encourage you to also ask Him to guard your own heart from bitterness or weariness. The Lord can use a broken and contrite spirit in us, too, to draw others to Himself. Your own purity as an intercessor matters.

You have already reminded us that the Holy Spirit is interceding for them. That is a solid anchor. We can trust Him to bring about godly sorrow in their hearts, the kind that does not just feel bad for a moment but leads to a genuine change of direction. Our part is to keep asking, keep hoping, and leave the outcome in God’s hands.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this team of lawyers and representatives. Where they have disregarded truth and human dignity, stir a deep hunger for righteousness within them. Move them from self-justification to genuine repentance. Protect the one praying from weariness and fill them with your peace as they trust you to work. We ask for your mercy and conviction to break through every lie, that these individuals would come to know you and walk in integrity. In your mighty name we pray, Amen.

The very cry for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is itself a hopeful sign, for such a thirst is not of nature’s making but of grace. You do well to pray thus, yet remember that the thirst itself is a gift and the fountain that satisfies it is Christ alone. Too many look for righteousness in the law or in their own reforming, but the righteousness God accepts comes only by faith in Jesus Christ. You plead for those bound in lies, lawyers and others, and you grieve over sins that disregard life and honest speech. That grief, if it leads you to Christ and His finished work, is of the Spirit; but take heed lest you suppose that mere horror at sin, or even the judgments of God upon the conscience, can produce that repentance which is unto life. Judgments, even the most terrible, do not in themselves work a saving change. The repentance you seek for others must be of that holy, heavenly sort wrought by the Spirit alone, a repentance that gives God glory, mingling tears of grief with glances of hope at the love of Christ.

You quote the broken and contrite heart from the fifty-first Psalm. That is true repentance indeed, a heart shattered for sin yet bound up by mercy. But mark this: a broken heart is not a heart that merely hates punishment; it hates the sin itself because it offends the holy God. It is practical and lasting. Does it drive the sinner from self to the Savior? That is the test. Any repentance that keeps a soul from believing on Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. The repentance we are to preach, and the repentance you must long to see in those for whom you intercede, is inseparably married to faith in the Lord Jesus. You cannot draw repentance from the well of your own heart, nor can they. It comes by looking to Him whom we have pierced and mourning for Him as for a firstborn. It comes, not by the lash of the slave-driver, but by the sweet drawing of God’s goodness. The wickedness of men is great, but the kindness of God is greater still, and it is that kindness that leads to repentance.

Pray then, relentlessly, for an unquenchable thirst. But direct that thirst always toward Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, who alone spreads healing in His wings. He is the center of all truth; from Him flows the remedy for lies. He is the fountain of all righteousness; in Him there is pardon for the vilest offender. Bid these souls look not to their own remorse, nor to your tears, but to the bleeding Savior who puts away sin. When true repentance comes, and it is a lifelong companion, sweet sister Repentance who walks with faith every step, then remission of sins follows as surely as light follows the sunrise. Forgiveness is not the reward of repentance, but its gracious accompaniment in the name of Jesus. Pray that they may be stripped of all self-righteousness, whether of law or of religious striving, for a man may trust his repentance or his faith as ruinously as his good works. Christ alone is the ground of hope.

Lastly, let your own soul be watered even as you water others. Delight in the God who forgives; sing aloud of His righteousness. The Lord who opens lips to pray will open hearts to receive. Cry mightily for these entangled minds, that the Spirit may convince them of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and then lead them to see that righteousness is not a thing to be performed but a Person to be embraced. Go to the cross for them; go to the empty tomb. There is life in a look at the crucified One. Plead the blood, not as a charm, but as the one plea of the guilty. The blood that speaks peace covers the penitent, and the Spirit who intercedes with groanings too deep for words will carry your burden to the throne. Let your prayer be not that they merely grieve, but that they grieve unto life, that they leave the sins they loved before and prove their grief by doing so no more, because they have found a new love in Him who is altogether lovely. This is the thirst that is truly unquenchable, for it drinks at the everlasting spring and longs for deeper draughts throughout eternity.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. That is indeed the very disposition required, for Christ Himself calls out, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink." But this thirst must not be a weak and passing impulse; it must be the desperate craving of a man parched for water, who drains the cup and will not cease until he has drunk it all. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, not half-heartedly, but with all their desire, transferring every longing to that one pursuit.

Yet understand that thirst cannot be quenched by words alone. For even the demons believe and tremble, but they will be punished eternally. Faith is the short word that brings salvation: confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you shall be saved. But this faith also carries righteousness, not the righteousness of mere outward figure, but a new creation "in righteousness and holiness of truth." True thirst must be matched by a life of universal virtue. Put on the breastplate of righteousness, which no foe can penetrate. Gird your loins with truth, so you may run without hindrance. A man armored in righteous deeds cannot be overthrown.

For this reason we must tremble. After receiving the knowledge of the truth, if we sin willfully, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. There is no second cross, no other washing. What awaits is a fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation that devours the adversaries. That fire is unquenchable, as the bush burned and was not consumed, so the flame of hell burns forever. Those who have been planted by Christ, watered by the Spirit, and bear no fruit will be pulled up and thrown into that fire. Mere belief will not rescue them.

Therefore, do not merely pray for others, but examine your own soul. The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken and contrite heart; such a heart He will not despise. Let your prayer be this: that all entangled in deceit, whether lawyers or any others, may hate their sins so deeply that they flee from evil, not merely lament it while continuing in it. So I exhort you: pursue truth and righteousness with a thirst that consumes every hour, and let that thirst drive you to a life of virtue. Then from your own belly shall flow rivers of living water, and you shall escape the unquenchable flame.
