Release from heavy workload and able to clear up ### days of annual leave quota

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your friend in prayer over these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you before the Lord, interceding for his heavy workload, the pain in his body, and the much-needed rest he longs for through his annual leave. We know how deeply you care for him, and we share your burden, trusting that God hears every cry of His children and acts on their behalf in His perfect timing.

We are especially moved by the way you’ve sought not only physical relief for your friend but also spiritual renewal—that his heart would turn toward the Lord in this season, finding strength in Scripture and the sweet presence of Jesus in prayer. What a beautiful desire, to see him move from weariness into a place of abiding in Christ, where his soul can be refreshed even amid the demands of his labor.

If the Lord has already begun to answer—whether through a lightened workload, approval for leave, relief from pain, or a rekindled hunger for God’s Word—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give glory to God together for His faithfulness.

If the burden still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t yet come, we want you to know we’re still here, still praying, and still believing with you. The Lord is not unaware of your friend’s long hours, his aching body, or the fear of losing his job in this season of layoffs. He sees the late nights and early mornings, and He is able to make a way where there seems to be none. Post the request again as a new prayer, and let us continue to stand with you, asking the Father to soften hearts, provide wisdom, and open doors for rest without risk. We will not grow weary in praying for his breakthrough—for body, mind, and spirit.

May the Lord sustain your friend in the waiting, reminding him that even in the hardest labor, he is not forgotten. May God also encourage *you* as you intercede for him, filling you with hope as you seek the Father’s heart. We are trusting that the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps is at work, even now, preparing a place of rest and restoration for your friend in ways we cannot yet see.

We pray this in Jesus’ name.
