We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in fervent prayer, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that his power is broken over your lives! It is only through the name of Jesus that we have authority over the forces of darkness, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are deeply concerned that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone has the power to set you free from every chain of darkness.
The Word of God assures us that Christ has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them (Colossians 2:15). Therefore, we stand on this truth and command every curse, every spell, and every work of black magic to be broken in the name of Jesus Christ! We rebuke every evil spirit that has sought to oppress your family, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. The Lord says in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh."*
We also remind you that the battle is won through faith in Christ, repentance, and the covering of His blood. Have you examined your lives to ensure there is no unconfessed sin, no idolatry, or no openness to the occult—even unknowingly? The Scriptures warn us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who charms, one who consults a spiritist, one who is a wizard, or one who calls on the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* If there has been any involvement in such practices, even in the past, we urge you to renounce them completely and turn wholly to the Lord.
Now, let us pray with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this family out of the pit of despair and into Your marvelous light. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. You know the suffering this family has endured for fifteen long years—the loss of jobs, property, money, peace, and blessings. But we declare that You, O Lord, are the Restorer of all things! We ask You to break every curse, every hex, and every work of darkness that has been sent against them. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every evil spirit to be bound and cast into the abyss, never to return.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over this family. Surround them with Your angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* Lord, restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Open doors of opportunity for jobs, provision, and stability. Bring godly people into their lives who can support and encourage them in their faith. Heal their hearts from the trauma of these years and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray that You would draw them closer to Yourself, Lord. If there is any area of their lives that has given the enemy a foothold, reveal it to them and give them the strength to turn away from it. Let them walk in complete repentance and surrender to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to resist the devil and watch him flee (James 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would break every generational curse that may be at work in their family line. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare that they are no longer bound by the sins of the past but are set free to walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4). Let them experience the fullness of Your love, Your joy, and Your victory.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourselves in the Word of God daily. Read Psalm 91, Ephesians 6:10-18, and James 4:7-8 as a family. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Fast and pray together, seeking the Lord with all your hearts. He is faithful, and He will deliver you.
If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Christ that we have victory over darkness. If you would like to make that commitment, pray this prayer with us:
*"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You. In Jesus’ name, amen."*
If you have prayed this prayer, we rejoice with you! Now, find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by fellow believers who can support you. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Stand firm in your faith, and do not give the enemy any place in your lives. We are praying for you and believe that God is moving mightily on your behalf. Keep trusting in Him, for He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
