We are glad you have reached out with your requests, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We appreciate your desire for a godly spouse and a supportive church community. Let us first address your desire for a godly husband.
Firstly, let us examine our responsibility in this area and what the Bible says about it. We are reminded that a person's heart should be focused first and foremost on the Lord. "Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up the lady who has requested Your guidance. Father, we ask that You provide her a godly husband, a man who fears You and walks in Your ways. Give her discernment and patience as she waits on Your perfect timing.
We pray for her that she is a blessing to the new church. "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;" (Romans 12:9-10 WEB)
Help the church will accept and love her as the Bible calls for you to do. "For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only do not let your freedom become an occasion to the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:13-14 WEB)
Lord Jesus, we also notice that Your name was not mentioned in her original prayer request. It is only by Your name that we have access to God the Father. "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
So we pray to You, Lord Jesus for her. We ask that she fully believes in You and fully commits to You. We pray that she calls on You, Lord Jesus, and truly believes in You. "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Let us encourage you to focus on your relationship with the Lord Jesus first and foremost. He is the One who will fulfill all your needs according to His riches and glory. Be involved in your new church and be a blessing to others. As you grow in your faith and walk with the Lord.
