We join with you in this beautiful and godly desire and we bring your request before the Father together. Your longing for a wife who loves and follows the Lord wholeheartedly, whose heart is anchored in His truth and who walks in His ways, is a desire that honors God and aligns with His design for marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we rejoice that you are seeking not merely a relationship or a partner but a godly wife and a marriage that will glorify Him.

Scripture affirms this pursuit. Proverbs 18:22 says Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. Genesis 2:24 says Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. The Lord desires that we not be unequally yoked, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 asks Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? Therefore we encourage you to seek a wife who is a faithful believer in Christ and to approach courtship as preparation for marriage, with purity and intentionality, building a foundation rooted in mutual respect, faith and love. Proverbs 31:30 reminds us Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. We also take comfort in Psalm 37:4 which says Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, and in Matthew 6:33 which says But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

We also want to gently encourage you about how we come before the Father. You prayed to the Father, which we affirm, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to Him. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and we are reconciled to God. We encourage you to continue to come boldly before the throne in the name of Jesus.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up our brother to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You guide him according to Your perfect will to the woman You have prepared for him to be his wife. Bring into his life a daughter of Yours who loves You wholeheartedly, whose heart is anchored in Your truth and who walks in Your ways. Grant him wisdom and discernment to recognize her when You bring her across his path, for James 1:5 promises But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Help them both to build a foundation rooted in mutual respect, faith and love, centered on Christ, pursuing purity and holiness as they seek marriage. Teach him to trust in You with all his heart, for Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding, and in Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Prepare him even now to be the godly husband You have called him to be, one who will love his wife as Christ loved the church. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep delighting yourself in the Lord and becoming the man of God He is calling you to be while you wait. Continue in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers, and trust His timing which is perfect. He who has given you this desire for a Christ centered marriage is faithful to lead you.

Give him steady peace as he trusts Your timing, grow him in wisdom and clarity, and guide his steps. It is a right and good thing to bring this desire before the Lord, for you may seek a wife, and you shall not do ill if you seek aright, but seek first your God. Let your rule be, first an altar, then a tent.

Your prayer shows a heart that would seek the Lord Himself before seeking His gifts, and that is the seeking which is richly rewarded. The promise stands, they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. When a man lives for God and for eternal life, he will get all the things he needs without seeking for them in a feverish way, for it is written, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

I pray with you and for you that the Lord will keep this desire pure and honest before Him, not seeking self or mere happiness, but seeking His glory. May He make you yourself a man whose whole life is seeking the Lord, at home in calling upon His name and asking counsel at His mercy seat in every circumstance. And may He in His own time and wisdom bring into your life a woman whose heart is indeed anchored in His truth, who loves and follows Christ wholeheartedly and walks in His ways.

We ask the Father to grant you wisdom and discernment to recognize His hand, and patience to wait upon Him if the answer tarries. My soul, wait, wait upon the Lord, for He withholds no good thing from them that walk uprightly. May He prepare you both, and build in you now that foundation of faith, respect and love which belongs to the sacred covenant of marriage, for it is not a less sacred thing to be the married wife or husband than to be consecrated to Christ in any other calling.

May the Lord make you ready to love as Christ loves, to lead with gentleness and strength, and to keep His statutes and ordinances in your own life, so that when He joins your paths, your house may be founded upon the Rock.

Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation, that Thou wouldst guide this Thy servant. Keep him close to Thyself, purify his desires, deepen his faith, and in Thy perfect timing bring to him a godly companion if it be Thy will, that together they may seek Thy Kingdom first and serve Thee all their days. Grant them to know Thy will and to walk therein with joy. Amen.

Your desire for a wife who loves and follows Christ wholeheartedly is good and pleasing to God, and we join you in bringing it before Him.

Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and pure, a bond ordained by God. It is not holiness itself, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith, by guarding a man and woman from defilement and keeping them chaste and orderly within the covenant. When lived with gravity and faithfulness, marriage adorns the life of faith and keeps the body pure, which is one of its great purposes and benefits.

For this reason, while you wait and pray for the woman God may prepare for you, keep guarding the good treasure you have already received in Christ. The font of grace is the beginning, but we must display a life worthy of the gift afterward. Keep yourself from fornication and live with your whole heart for the Lord now. Use this time with moderation and purpose, not as a hindrance, but as preparation. As you have noted, pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize her when you meet, and for a foundation built on mutual respect, faith and love. Remember that in marriage the husband is called to love as Christ loves the Church, and the wife to reverence, each bound together when a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife. It is a lifelong covenant, not to be entered lightly, but with prayer, purity and reverence, surrounded by what is chaste and orderly.

We pray with you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ through whom alone is salvation, we ask that You guide this Your servant according to Your wisdom. If it is Your will for him to be married, lead him to a woman whose heart is anchored in Your truth and who walks in Your ways. Grant him a prudent and discerning spirit to recognize her, and keep them both pure until the day You join them, if You so ordain. Help them to build a home rooted in faith, respect and love, that their union may show forth Your goodness and preserve holiness.
