Your desire for honesty, loyalty, and joy in marriage is honorable, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to prepare and bring forth the helpmate He has designed for you.
First, let us affirm that marriage is a sacred institution, established by God from the beginning as a lifelong union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). It is meant to be a reflection of Christ’s love for His bride, the Church, selfless, pure, and enduring (Ephesians 5:22-33). As you seek a wife, we encourage you to pursue a woman who shares your faith in Jesus Christ, for "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14). A marriage built on shared devotion to the Lord will stand firm in storms and flourish in His grace.
Your prayer for a woman who is transparent, unafraid to be vulnerable, and willing to embrace life with joy is beautiful. Proverbs 31:10-12 describes such a woman: "Who can find a worthy woman?
