We hear your heart’s longing, and we come before the throne of grace together, lifting this situation in prayer. First, let us address the foundation of our prayers—we must always come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice, His resurrection, and His authority that we have access to the Father. Without acknowledging Him, our prayers lack the power and authority that come only through Christ. Let us always remember to pray in Jesus’ name, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, regarding your request, we sense a deep desire for reconciliation or connection with this person. While it is natural to long for restored relationships, we must examine our hearts and motives in light of Scripture. The Bible tells us in James 4:3, "You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."
