Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up this relationship, asking that every step we take aligns completely with Your divine plan. Lord, we surrender our hearts and our future into Your hands, trusting that You make all things beautiful in Your time.

Father, we pray for ###. We ask that You speak to his mind and heart, granting him clarity and helping him figure things out with Your wisdom. We pray that You stir within him a deep, genuine love, a spirit of care, and the heart of a provider. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to fully let go of the past—releasing his former marriage so that he can find true peace and joy in the new love we share.

We lift up the legal and practical steps of our future together. Please guide ### as he considers applying for a fiancƩe visa, clearing any obstacles and opening the right doors so that I can eventually join him in the United States.

Lord, we also pray for the bond between ### and my sons. Open his heart wide to love them, and draw them close to one another so that, in Your timing, we can build a united, happy home together in the US. We pray that You inspire ### to commit fully, to love me as his wife, and to propose.

Order our steps, Lord. Direct our paths, heal every wound, and let Your grace bind us together in a love that honors You above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in bringing this relationship before the Lord and we thank you for wanting every step to align completely with His divine plan, for that is the only foundation that will stand.

We hear your heart for this man and your desire for him to have clarity, to grow in genuine love and care, to embrace the heart of a provider, and to be fully released from the past. We also hear your hope for a future marriage, for the fiancee visa and the joining of your lives in the United States, and for a united home where he will love your sons well and where you would be cherished as his wife. These are beautiful desires when they are ordered by God, and we pray with you that His will be done above all else.

We want to gently and lovingly speak truth over a few areas that Scripture calls us to consider carefully in courtship. We believe that being a boyfriend or girlfriend is courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and that marriage itself is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God. Genesis 2:24 says a man will leave his father and his mother and will be joined to his wife and they will be one flesh, and Matthew 19:6 reminds us what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Because marriage is so sacred, any former marriage must be fully and legally ended and also examined in the light of Scripture before a new marriage is pursued. God takes the covenant seriously, and while there is grace and healing after divorce, Scripture teaches that divorce is permitted only for specific reasons such as sexual immorality. Matthew 19:9. So we encourage you both to seek wise pastoral counsel together, to be fully honest about the history and legal status of his former marriage, and to ensure that if you move toward engagement he is truly free before God and before the law to make that covenant. We also encourage you to confirm that you are both born again believers walking with Christ, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 calls us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and a marriage that honors God must be built on shared faith in Jesus.

We also want to encourage you in purity as you wait on the Lord. Scripture is clear that love waits and honors God with the body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality, and Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all and let the bed be undefiled. Even when love feels deep and the hope of marriage is strong, we are called to abstain from sex before or outside of marriage, which is fornication and does not honor God. We pray that your courtship will be marked by holiness, accountability, and clear boundaries that protect you both until the day you may become husband and wife, if that is the Lord's will. True love, as Ephesians 5:25 describes, is a husband loving his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, sacrificially, patiently, and with provision and protection.

We also lift up the practical steps you mentioned. We pray that God will give him wisdom to figure things out and clarity of mind, for James 1:5 promises if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. We pray that Proverbs 3:5-6 will be true for you both, to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths. If this marriage is God's will, He is able to open the right doors for a visa and to clear obstacles, and if it is not His will He will close those doors for your protection. Romans 12:2 urges us not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well pleasing, and perfect will of God. We encourage you not to press for a proposal out of longing, but to trust God's perfect timing, for Ecclesiastes 3:11 says He has made everything beautiful in its time, and Psalm 37:4 says delight yourself also in Yahweh and he will give you the desires of your heart when those desires are aligned with Him.

We pray for your sons with special care, that the Lord would guard their hearts and that any man who would enter their lives as a father figure would love them with Christlike patience and strength, providing a godly example and a stable, peaceful home.

We now pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, surrendering this relationship and this future into Your hands. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and clarity for this man, speak to his mind and heart, renew him by Your Spirit, soften his heart where it has been hardened by wounds, and heal him fully from his past. If there is still entanglement or pain from his former marriage, bring complete healing and closure according to Your truth and let him walk in peace and wholeness before he leads another family. Father, stir within him genuine, selfless love and the heart of a godly provider and protector who will love as Christ loves. We pray that both of them will walk in purity and honor You in their bodies and minds, fleeing temptation and keeping marriage holy.

Lord, we place the desire for marriage, for engagement, and for the fiancee visa before You. Order their steps and direct their paths, open doors that no man can shut if this union is from You, and close doors firmly if it is not. We pray for these precious sons, draw them close to You first, and if it is Your will, knit their hearts together with this man in a way that builds a united, Christ centered home in the United States. Above all, let Your will be done, not ours, and let Your grace bind them or gently lead them according to Your perfect plan. Give them patience, discernment, godly counsel, and deep peace that passes all understanding as they wait on You.

We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, for John 14:6 teaches that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. We rest in that name and in Your unfailing love.

In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with trusted mature believers who can walk with you both face to face, to keep healthy boundaries in courtship, and to seek the Lord's confirmation through His Word, through peace, and through counsel before any legal or lifelong commitment is made. May the Lord guide you, guard your hearts, and be glorified in whatever He chooses to do.

Thank you for trusting us with this prayer. We hear your deep desire for a future that honors God and brings your family together in peace.

We know waiting for clarity while carrying hope for marriage, a visa process, and the bonding of your sons with ### can feel heavy. One thing we have seen help couples in this season is giving space for honest, unhurried conversations about the past and about what a blended family will really need. Healing from a former marriage takes time and grieving, and children often need a slow, gentle pace to build trust. Talking this through with a trusted pastor or counselor together can help you both understand expectations and parenting roles before bigger legal steps are taken. For the visa, reliable legal guidance can also bring peace and prevent extra strain.

We are standing with you as you seek God's direction one step at a time.

Father, we bring this sister and ### and her sons before You. Give them clarity, calm hearts, and wisdom for each decision ahead. Heal old wounds, guard the hearts of the children, and lead each of them in Your will and timing. Provide what is needed and draw each one closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We have heard the burden of your heart and we have considered it in the light of the Word of God, for our desire is that every step you take should indeed align completely with His divine plan and not merely with the wishes of our own hearts.

You ask that the Lord would make all things beautiful in His time, and this is a right and holy desire. Yet we must remember what the Scripture teaches concerning the relationship of marriage. It is not a light affinity nor a thing to be entered upon hastily. It is a covenant in which a man and a woman by deliberate choice become one flesh, cemented by mutual love, so that they are no longer two but one. When God says, I am married unto you, it implies a blessed choice on both sides and a bond that He Himself has joined together. For this reason marriage as God ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to the intimacy of marriage belongs only within that covenant.

You pray that this man may let go of his former marriage and find peace in a new love. Here we must speak with tenderness and with truth. The wound of a former marriage is not healed by simply releasing it from the mind, for what God has joined is not to be put asunder by the will of man. If there is a former wife still living, we dare not ask God to bless a new union as though the former covenant were nothing. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, and it is necessary to seek first whether this brother is before God free to enter into another marriage according to the Scriptures, and whether both of you are walking as those who have first joined yourselves to Christ by faith. We dare not invite any to the outward joys of marriage who have not first been joined to the invisible Church through salvation in Jesus Christ alone, for in Him all divine excellences are blended and He alone is the way of salvation.

Nor can we ask God to prosper practical steps such as a visa or a proposal apart from His revealed will. To do so would be to ask Him to set His seal upon what He may not have ordained. What we can and do ask is that He will grant you both clarity, repentance where repentance is needed, purity of life, and a willingness to surrender even your dearest hopes to His ordering. The blessedness which we most need is not the fulfillment of our plans but that which belongs to those who hear the Word of God and keep it. That is the gem of the casket, to be found in obedience.

Therefore we will pray not for the hastening of this relationship as you have framed it, but for that which honors Christ above all else. We pray that the Lord will draw each of you to Himself, that you may be kept by His grace and preserved even to the end. We pray that He will give wisdom to discern His will, that He will heal every wound in a way that leads to holiness, that He will guard you and your sons from any path that would lead away from His commands, and that He will keep you both from living or acting as those who are married before you are married indeed. If it be His will to join you together in a true and lawful marriage in the Lord, then He will make the way plain in holiness and with the counsel of godly pastors. If not, He will give grace to walk contentedly in His will, knowing that salvation and joy are never taken from the house where Christ is trusted.

Seek the counsel of faithful shepherds near you who know you and can weigh these matters with the Scriptures open before you. Bring every affection under the rule of Christ, who as the Lamb proved His love by His wounds and blood, and learn first the marriage of the soul to Him. Order your steps by His Word, direct your paths by prayer, and let your chief petition be, Lord, let Thy will be done in us, even as we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
