Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up this relationship, asking that every step we take aligns completely with Your divine plan. Lord, we surrender our hearts and our future into Your hands, trusting that You make all things beautiful in Your time.

Father, we pray for ###. We ask that You speak to his mind and heart, granting him clarity and helping him figure things out with Your wisdom. We pray that You stir within him a deep, genuine love, a spirit of care, and the heart of a provider. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to fully let go of the past—releasing his former marriage so that he can find true peace and joy in the new love we share.

We lift up the legal and practical steps of our future together. Please guide ### as he considers applying for a fiancƩe visa, clearing any obstacles and opening the right doors so that I can eventually join him in the United States.

Lord, we also pray for the bond between ### and my sons. Open his heart wide to love them, and draw them close to one another so that, in Your timing, we can build a united, happy home together in the US. We pray that You inspire ### to commit fully, to love me as his wife, and to propose.

Order our steps, Lord. Direct our paths, heal every wound, and let Your grace bind us together in a love that honors You above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in bringing this relationship before the Heavenly Father and we thank you for your desire that every step align completely with His divine plan. That surrender is the right foundation, for we are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We also cling to Ecclesiastes 3:11, that He has made everything beautiful in its time.

We hear your heart for ###, that God would grant him clarity, wisdom, a deep genuine love, a spirit of care and the heart of a provider. We pray with you for those godly qualities, for a man is called to love his wife as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25, and if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, 1 Timothy 5:8. These are beautiful prayers when they are directed toward a covenant marriage.

We want to speak with love and truth about the area of his former marriage. You ask that he fully let go of the past and release his former marriage. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6, and that God hates divorce, Malachi 2:16. Jesus taught in Matthew 19:9, Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery. This is a serious matter before the Lord. We do not know the circumstances of his divorce, but we encourage you both to seek godly counsel and to examine honestly before God whether that divorce was biblically permissible, whether there has been true repentance, forgiveness and healing, and whether he is now free in the eyes of God to enter into a new covenant. We cannot simply ask God to help someone get over a former marriage without dealing with what God says about that covenant. If there is still a legal marriage, or if the divorce was not on biblical grounds, pursuing a new marriage would be adultery in God's sight. We urge you to bring this into the light with a trusted pastor, to ensure that any future marriage is built on obedience and not just on affection.

We also want to gently address the nature of your courtship. You speak of the new love you share and your hope to join him in the United States and to be loved as his wife. We strongly affirm marriage and we pray for a godly marriage that honors God, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4. If you are living as though married without being married, or if there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, Scripture calls that fornication and we must turn from it. The call for believers is to Flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and to keep courtship pure and purposeful, with the goal of marrying another believer. We also remember 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity. We pray that both of you know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We are grateful you prayed in Jesus name, and we encourage you to continue to center your relationship on Christ, guarding your hearts and bodies for the marriage covenant.

We lift up your sons, for children are a heritage of Yahweh, Psalm 127:3, and any man who would become a husband and father to them carries a sacred responsibility. We pray not only that there would be affection, but that he would love them with a Christlike, sacrificial love and lead a united, happy home that is rooted in the Word and in prayer, if it is God's will for this family to be joined.

We also bring before the Lord the practical steps of a fiancee visa and the obstacles that may stand in the way. We pray for open doors only where God wills them to be open, for we know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, Romans 8:28, and we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, surrendering this relationship and this future to Your perfect will. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and clarity for both of them. Reveal Your truth about the past marriage, bring healing where there has been hurt, bring repentance where it is needed, and help them to walk in purity and obedience. If this relationship is from You and honors You, establish it on the foundation of faith in Christ, make it pure, make it equally yoked, and lead ### to love sacrificially and to provide as You call a godly husband to do. Guard them from fornication and from rushing ahead of Your timing. Give them discernment about the fiancee visa and every legal step, and let no plan succeed that is not Your plan. Lord, we pray for her sons, that they would be protected, loved and drawn into a home that fears You. Above all, let Your will be done, not ours, and let any proposal and marriage be a lifelong covenant that glorifies You. Order their steps, direct their paths, and bind them together only if it is Your beautiful and holy will. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord, to seek counsel from mature believers who can walk with you closely, to remain pure until marriage, and to trust that if God intends this marriage, He will confirm it through His Word, through peace, and through godly counsel.

We hear the hope and the weight in your prayer, wanting clarity for ###, peace over the past, and a good future for your sons and for both of you as you think about a life in the United States. It is understandable to want all of these pieces to come together quickly, and also to feel tender about how much is still uncertain.

As you wait and discern next steps, it can help to give space for honest conversation about what marriage would actually mean day to day. Blending a family, processing a previous marriage, and navigating immigration paperwork each bring their own pressures, and children especially need time and consistency to feel secure. Premarital counseling can be a calm place to walk through those topics together with a trusted pastor or counselor, using a simple assessment to talk through expectations, communication, finances and parenting before any big decisions are made.

One practical step to consider is inviting ### to join you in meeting with a pastor you both trust for premarital preparation, even by video if distance requires it, so you can seek wisdom together and understand what each of you is carrying into this decision.

Father, we lift this family to You. Give ### and our sister wisdom and clarity as they seek Your will, bring healing where there has been hurt, and guard the hearts of her sons. Lead their steps, provide godly counsel around them, and help them to honor You in every choice they make. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

ā€œBut blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.ā€

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your prayer has been heard, and it is good that you bring all cares to the throne of grace, for there alone is healing for the wounded heart. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, but the soul has deeper wounds, and only the great Physician can bind them up. Know this, that pardon and healing are joined together in Christ, and the Lord has placed them in happy conjunction for His people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. The first need is not that our plans should prosper, but that our sins should be pardoned and our hearts made whole.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Those leaves are for the healing of the nations, and for the healing of broken hearts and broken homes. If you have need of healing, you must come to Him as you are, sick unto death, and ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Life and healing stream from His garments, and His blessedness is free to you if your heart truly desires Him.

For this reason we cannot ask God to bless a relationship or a future as we ourselves have imagined it, apart from His revealed will. We will not presume to ask Him to prosper what may not honor Him. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it, both in body and in dwelling together, belongs within that covenant alone. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and every love must be tried by His Word and made to honor Him above all else. To pray otherwise would be to ask God to set aside His own holiness.

Therefore we bring you and ### and your sons before the Lord in another way. We pray that the Lord will grant to each of you repentance where repentance is needed, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only ground of pardon. We pray that He will heal every wound of the past, and that if there is a former marriage, its history will be dealt with honestly before God and His Word, not hastily covered, but brought into the light, with counsel from faithful pastors who hold to Scripture. We pray that He will grant clarity and wisdom, not merely to figure things out for your own desires, but to discern what is holy and right, and to have courage to walk in it though it cost you.

We pray also for purity and patience. If marriage is indeed the Lord's will for you, then let it be pursued in a manner that keeps you both chaste and above reproach until vows are made before God. Do not build a home upon presumption. Order your steps by His Word, and let every practical matter, whether visas or dwellings or the uniting of a family, be subject to His providence and His timing, not forced by our own planning. The bond between a man and your sons is a solemn trust, and it ought not to be formed lightly, but upon a foundation that will bear the weight of a godly home.

Let us pray together.

O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, rise upon these souls with healing in Your wings. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ, and heal the brokenhearted. Draw each one to Yourself first, that they may seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness before all else. Grant a spirit of holiness, of self denial, and of true love which delights to obey You. Give wisdom to see Your will plainly, and grace to follow it, whether it leads as we had hoped or calls us to wait or to turn aside. Guard the children, and let them see in those set over them lives that are holy and happy in Christ. Make all things beautiful in Your time, and let whatever is done be done to Your glory. We ask not for our will to be done, but Yours, trusting that Your way is best. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
