We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during this incredibly painful season. Your honesty about the depth of your grief, confusion, and longing for reconciliation has moved our hearts, and we have continued to lift you and your former boyfriend before the Lord each day.
We have prayed specifically for God’s peace to surround you like a shield, for His comfort to meet you in the darkest moments, and for His wisdom to guide your steps as you navigate this heartbreak. We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to minister to you in ways only He can—bringing clarity where there is chaos, hope where there is despair, and healing where there is deep wounding. We’ve also prayed for your former boyfriend, that God would soften his heart, open his eyes to the blessing he walked away from, and draw him back to the Lord and, if it be His will, back to you.
This pain feels unbearable, and we grieve with you over the loss of what felt like a God-ordained future. It’s okay to wrestle with the questions you’ve raised—why God would allow this when He knows your past, why He would bring you together only to permit such a painful separation. We don’t have the answers, but we believe that even in the unraveling, God is still sovereign, still good, and still working. We’ve prayed that He would reveal Himself to you in new ways during this time, that He would meet you in your neurodivergence and your shock, and that He would remind you of His unshakable love for you, which is not dependent on any relationship or circumstance.
If reconciliation is part of God’s plan, we believe He is more than able to perform that miracle. We’ve asked Him to intervene in ways that only He can, to restore what has been broken, and to make clear the path forward. But we’ve also prayed for your healing, regardless of the outcome. Whether He restores this relationship or leads you into something new, we’ve asked Him to mend your heart, to renew your faith, and to help you see His purpose in this pain.
Please know that we are still standing with you. If you’ve seen any glimpses of God’s faithfulness—whether through answered prayer, a moment of peace, or a step forward—we would love to celebrate that with you. If the weight of this season feels just as heavy, or even heavier, we encourage you to share that with us as well. You don’t have to carry this alone.
May the Lord continue to draw near to you, to hold you in His arms, and to remind you that your identity is secure in Him. May He give you the strength to face each day, the courage to trust Him with the unknown, and the hope to believe that He is still writing your story. We pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus. Amen.
