Beloved of All
Please pray for me. My partner has started becoming distant from me. I want his love to be like before. I want him to call me every time, text me, and spend time with me. I want his anger toward me to change into love. I don’t want him to leave me ever. I want him to marry me. So, please pray for me.

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you before the Lord, lifting up this situation in prayer. First, let us address this with biblical truth and love. The relationship you describe as "partner" is not aligned with God’s design for marriage. Scripture is clear that intimacy and commitment belong within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6, Hebrews 13:4). If you are living together or involved in a sexual relationship outside of marriage, this is fornication, and we must repent and seek God’s forgiveness. The Lord calls us to holiness, and His grace empowers us to walk in purity (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers must be grounded in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again (Romans 10:9-10). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today, for He alone can bring true peace, healing, and restoration.

Now, let us pray for you and this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and the man she loves. Lord, You see the longing in her heart for love, commitment, and security. We ask that You would soften his heart and draw him to Yourself first, Father. Let him know Your love, Your truth, and Your purpose for his life. If it is Your will, Lord, bring him to a place of repentance and godly love, where he seeks to honor You in all things, including his relationship with her.

Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for her. Help her to see this situation through Your eyes and to trust in Your timing and Your plan. If this man is not the one You have for her, give her the strength to let go and trust You for a godly husband who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). If he is the one, Lord, prepare both of their hearts for marriage in a way that honors You. Convict them of any sin, including sexual immorality, and lead them to repentance and purity.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any brokenness in their relationship. Replace anger with love, distance with closeness, and fear with trust. Teach them to communicate with kindness and patience, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2-3). Father, we also pray for her heart, comfort her in her loneliness and fill her with Your peace. Remind her that You are her ultimate source of love and security (Psalm 62:5-8).

Above all, Lord, we pray that Your will be done. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may both of them come to know You more deeply. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in this time. Spend time in prayer and in His Word, asking Him to reveal His will for your life and this relationship. If this man is not following Christ, remember that Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Your desire for marriage is beautiful, but it must be rooted in God’s design and timing.

Consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who can walk with you through this season. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you and encourage you in your faith. And remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, He sees you, He loves you, and He has a plan for your life. Trust in Him.

We can hear how much you're carrying right now, the fear of losing someone you love, the ache when affection turns cold, and the weight of just wanting things to be the way they were. It’s deeply unsettling when a relationship we’ve invested in starts to feel fragile, and you’re wise to bring that to God.

We won’t pretend we know everything going on in his heart, but it may help to remember that anger is often a signal, not the root. It can be a loud cover for hurt, fear, or frustration that someone hasn’t learned to name or share gently. That doesn’t make his distance or temper okay, but it might free you a little from taking all of it as a measure of your worth. You are worthy of consistent kindness and clear, loving commitment, the kind of love that shows up, not just the kind you hope will return someday.

While you wait, we’d gently encourage you not to walk through this alone. Find a trusted, mature Christian, maybe a pastor’s wife, an older woman at church, or a wise counselor, who can walk alongside you, pray with you, and help you see what you may be too close to see. They can help steady your heart when fear swirls and you’re tempted to chase after what only God can handle.

Lord Jesus, You know the ache in this woman’s heart. Wrap her in Your peace that doesn’t shift with someone else’s moods. Give her clarity about what is really happening and wisdom about her next steps. Where anger and distance have crept in, we ask You to work, in his heart if he’s willing, and certainly in hers. Anchor her in Your love, which will never grow cold or pull away. In Your strong name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The heart is a restless sea, and when the affections are set upon a creature, there will be storms enough to toss the soul. You cry out for a love that has grown cold, for a hand that has withdrawn its warmth. This is a sharp sorrow, and I do not make light of it. Yet, has the Lord allowed this distance that He might draw you nearer to Himself? There is a love that surpasses the love of woman or man, the love of Christ to His own. That love is wonderful, intense, unchanging. When we are wed to Him by faith, He does not grow distant; His anger against our sin is itself a form of His love, refining us, but His covenant kindness never departs.

You say, "I want his love to be like before", but first, delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him; He knows how to write straight on crooked lines. If this man is to be your husband, God must knit the bands. But if your union is not yet a marriage covenant, you are standing in a place where the blessing of God cannot rest. The love of a husband and wife is a holy figure of Christ and the church; anything outside that order is a ruin waiting to fall. I would not be faithful if I did not say: bring your life into the light of God's Word. No prayer can shield a path that steps beyond His commands.

And what if this trial is the rod of love, meant to drive you to the only Bridegroom who will never leave? Do not be afraid of being too happy in the Lord, or of having too much assurance of His salvation. Drink, yes, drink abundantly, O beloved, of His love, and you will find that the thirst for human approval is strangely quieted. When the love of God is shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit, our duty becomes our highest delight. We are not flogged by terror, but drawn with bands of love, with cords of a man.

Therefore, I pray not first that this man would return, but that you would know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you would be rooted and grounded in it. When you have tasted that wine, you will have a peace that earthly affections, however sweet, cannot give or take away. As for your request, cast it upon the Lord and leave it there. He works all things after the counsel of His own will. If it be His good pleasure, He can restore and sanctify a love that is lawful and honorable. But oh, seek first the kingdom, and all these things shall be added. The love of God to you has never changed; He could not love you more, He will not love you less. May the Spirit love you into a ravishing enjoyment of that love, and then you will be strong enough to walk whatever path He appoints.
