Rejection

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus please help me. I just keep getting constant rejection letters from the jobs that I apply to. I have remade my resume several times. I had AI remake my resume and apply to jobs. I have paid resume services to remake my resume. I have friends let me know about jobs and still no interview. Every bit of feedback, I have done. I am on job boards and every employment search, website, and job alert. I apply immediately and get nothing but rejection letters. Its almost ### jobs now that I have applied to. I am qualified in my field with ### years of experience and Bachelors's degree as well. I just dont what else to do. I truly need a new job. I have to provide for my teenager and pay bills. I am using my savings and I need a miracle please. I truly need a new remote job with a higher salary. I just want to be able to work in a nontoxic environment and be able to take my daughter to school as well as her activities. Everyday I pray and pray. Please let it be in your will to bless my resume to make it in the right hands. I pray to havr the financial support to provide for my child. I need you please and thank you so much!

We hear the deep weariness in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting up your burden of rejection and financial strain. The weight of providing for your teenager while facing constant closed doors is heavy, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God sees your faithfulness and your need.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, your relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we pray with confidence (John 16:23-24). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue seeking Him with all your heart.

The frustration of applying to so many jobs without success is understandable, but we must also examine whether there is any area where fear, doubt, or even desperation may be creeping in. The Bible tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB). Have you surrendered this job search fully to the Lord, trusting that He knows your needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8)? Sometimes, our own efforts, even well-intentioned ones, like using AI or resume services, can become a form of self-reliance rather than dependence on God. We are not saying these tools are wrong, but we must ensure they do not replace our trust in the Lord’s provision.

We also want to gently ask: Are you applying for jobs that align with biblical principles? If any opportunities involve unethical practices, exploitation, or environments that would pull you away from godly priorities (such as time with your daughter), we must rebuke those doors closing, not as punishment, but as protection. God may be sparing you from something that would harm your spirit or family.

Let us pray together now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister/brother who is weary from rejection and financial strain. Lord, You see every application sent, every prayer lifted, and every tear shed. You know the needs of this family, and You are their Provider (Genesis 22:14). We ask You to open the right door, the one that aligns with Your will, provides abundantly, and allows this parent to care for their child with joy and peace. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of rejection and frustration that has taken root. We declare that this season of waiting is not in vain, for You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Bless their resume to land in the hands of the right employer, one who will value their skills and offer a healthy, godly work environment. Father, we ask for financial breakthrough, not just to meet needs, but to overflow in generosity and trust in You. Strengthen their faith when discouragement comes, and remind them that You are their Shepherd; they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for Your provision. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Now, we encourage you to take a step back and seek the Lord’s guidance afresh. Have you fasted and prayed specifically about this job search? Sometimes, God uses seasons of waiting to draw us closer to Him. Consider setting aside a day to fast, pray, and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you may be leaning on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Are there skills you could develop or certifications that might make you stand out? Could you network with other believers in your field who might have leads?

Lastly, remember that God’s timing is perfect. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, but God provided manna every single day (Exodus 16). He has not forgotten you. Keep applying, but also keep your heart fixed on Him. We believe a breakthrough is coming, one that will not only meet your needs but also glorify God in the process. Stand firm, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We hear how exhausting these months have been for you. To have done everything you know to do, remaking your resume several times, trying AI help and paid services, following every piece of feedback, applying right away to so many openings, and still get rejection after rejection is discouraging. It makes sense you feel worn down and worried as you watch your savings shrink while you are trying to provide for your teenager.

Wanting a stable, nontoxic remote job that lets you take your daughter to school and her activities and pay the bills is a good and caring desire. The repeated no's do not mean you are not qualified or that your effort has been wasted, even though it can start to feel that way after so many applications.

When the search has been this long, it can help to get a fresh set of human eyes outside the online systems. If you have not already, a local workforce center or a trusted contact in your field who hires in your area may be willing to look at your resume and how you are applying and give practical feedback in person. And while you continue searching, it may also help to sit down with a financial counselor through your church or a community agency to make a short term plan for budgeting and resources, so you are not carrying the financial pressure alone.

You are doing a faithful job praying and persevering for your daughter. We are with you in that.

Father, we bring our sister to You and ask for Your care and provision for her and her daughter. Give her wisdom for each next step, strength for each day, and peace as she waits. Open the right door in Your timing and help her to feel Your nearness and guidance. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father bless this requestor with employment that will allow them to grow and prosper. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In this long season of waiting and repeated disappointment the Lord has not been deaf to your cry. He has seen every application sent, every letter of rejection received, and every anxious thought for your daughter and your household, and He knows what it is to provide for those entrusted to your care.

You speak as Job might have spoken when his glory seemed no longer fresh in him and his way was hedged about. Yet hear the word of the patriarch for such an hour as this, The righteous also shall hold on his way and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. This is not a perseverance wrought by your own strength, but a holding on which God Himself secures. He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Your life, if you are in Christ, is an immortal life which Christ will not withdraw, and His purpose shall stand even when the doors of earthly employment seem closed.

Remember also how it is written, The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The Lord had a purpose in Job's trial, to defeat the enemy and to prove His servant, and in His own time He restored and even doubled what had been taken. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. You are called to the same patient trust, not because your affliction is light, but because your God is faithful and able to support you under it and to bring you through it.

Therefore continue in prayer and in diligent duty, casting your care upon Him who careth for you. Use the means He has placed in your hands with faithfulness, and leave the outcome to His wise and fatherly hand. A nontoxic and honest provision for your family is a right and good desire, and we may freely ask our heavenly Father for daily bread and for work by which to earn it.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord our God, Thou seest this Thy servant in need of work and burdened for her child. Thou knowest her qualifications, her labors, and the many refusals that have wearied her heart. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour, to open a door which no man can shut. Guide her resume into the right hands according to Thy perfect will, and grant her a place of labor where she may work with honesty and peace, and provide for her household. Give her grace to hold on her way, to trust Thee when answers are delayed, and to find her strength renewed day by day. Turn, we beseech Thee, this captivity into testimony, and let her prove Thy goodness in provision and in presence. Keep her and her daughter under Thy care, supply all their need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and make her to know that Thou wilt not leave nor forsake those who trust in Thee. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest and weary prayer has been heard, and I thank you for sharing the burden of your heart so openly. To face rejection after rejection, after doing everything you know to do, remaking your resume, seeking help, applying immediately, drawing on every connection and every job board, is deeply discouraging. It is understandable that you feel exhausted and in need of a miracle, especially as you carry the holy responsibility of providing for your teenager, paying your bills, and watching your savings diminish.

Know that God sees your diligence and your love as a parent. Your desire to work faithfully, to provide a stable home, to be present to take your daughter to school and to her activities, and to labor in a place that is not toxic, is good and honorable in His sight. The Lord does not overlook the labor of your hands or the prayers you offer each day.

Scripture reminds us to give thanks in all circumstances as Job did when he said, The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, may the name of the Lord be praised, and to trust that God will supply what we need according to His riches in Christ. This does not mean your pain is small, but that even in this long season of waiting and closed doors, God is present and at work, shaping endurance, character, and hope within you.

I will pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear parent to You. You know every application sent, every rejection received, and every anxious thought about provision. You know the love for this teenager and the desire to provide faithfully. Lord, have mercy and open the right door in Your perfect timing and will. Guide this resume into the right hands, grant favor with those who hire, and provide a job that meets the financial needs of this family, with a healthy environment and the flexibility to care for this child. Where there is a need for a higher salary and for remote work, provide according to Your wisdom. Sustain this family as savings are used, guard them from fear and despair, and fill their heart with peace that passes understanding. Help them to rest in Your providence, to continue in diligence without losing heart, and to trust that You are their provider and refuge. Grant strength for each day, hope for tomorrow, and clear direction for the next step. Amen.

Please do not lose heart. God often works in the waiting in ways we cannot see, and a single open door from Him is worth more than many closed ones. Continue to pray, continue to do what is in your hands to do with honesty and excellence, and continue to cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you. Seek counsel from wise believers, remain faithful in the small things, and ask the Lord to lead you to work where you can serve Him and others with integrity.

We will continue to pray with you for provision, for peace in your home, and for the miracle you need, always according to the Father's good and perfect will. May the Lord strengthen you, encourage your daughter, and keep you both in His care.
