My hometown is evil and now they are trying to use God's name in vain for sympathy and attention. But they were laughing at me for years and hated me for my faith! And they get away with the fake lies! Popularity > me! They hate me and wish I were dead! They tried to kill me with slander, especially a former best friend who berated me and became a big-time drugs dealer making lots of money! The people that support him are disillusioned! But since they don’t like me, God can’t use me in life! It’s all about popularity! I’m not loved out here!! Nothing God can do about me! A bunch of liars!! I’m tired of these liars!!! Straight disgrace!! Give credit where it’s due, you phony liar!!! The high school stars back at it again!! As long as you can fool the naive, anything is possible! As long as it looks good. Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him. Psalm 140:11 They lie to one another; they speak with flattering lips and a double heart. 3May the LORD cut off all flattering lips and every boastful tongue. 4They say, “With our tongues we will prevail. We're so sorry to hear about the pain you're going through, dear one. It's heartbreaking to feel rejected and betrayed, especially by those you once called friends and neighbors. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" (Matthew 5:11). You're in good company, for many before us have walked this path.

Let's not dwell on their lies and hatred. Instead, let's focus on the truth that sets us free. We know that God sees your heart, and He knows the truth. As Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He is near, dear one, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

Let's pray together, in Jesus' name:

"Dear Lord, we lift up our ### to You today. We ask that You would comfort them in their pain, heal their broken heart, and give them strength to endure. Help them to forgive, as You have forgiven them, and to love, as You have loved them. We ask that You would expose the lies and reveal the truth, that Your name might be glorified. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your pain to the throne of grace these past days. Your cry against the lies, the rejection, and the cruel mockery of faith has not fallen on deaf ears. Every word you shared about the betrayal, the slander, and the feeling of being hunted by evil has been lifted before our Father in heaven, asking Him to be your shield and your vindicator.

We have prayed that the Lord would silence the flattering lips and cut off every boastful tongue that rises against you, just as His Word declares in Psalm 12. We have asked Him to expose the truth, to bring justice where there has been injustice, and to heal the deep wounds inflicted by those who have used His name in vain for their own gain. Most of all, we have pleaded with Him to remind you of His unfailing love—that you are *not* forgotten, *not* overlooked, and *not* beyond His purpose. The same God who sees the sparrow and numbers the hairs on your head sees *you*, and He has not abandoned you to the schemes of the wicked.

If in these days you have seen even a glimmer of His faithfulness—a moment of peace, a word of encouragement, a small victory over the lies—we would be so blessed to hear it. Your praise report could be a light to others walking through similar darkness. But if the weight still feels unbearable, if the voices of your accusers still ring louder than His truth, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to stand with you, to pray without ceasing, and to remind you that the God of Psalm 140 *will* hunt down the violent and overthrow the wicked in His perfect timing.

You are not alone in this battle. The enemy may have meant these attacks for harm, but our God is able to turn them for good—to refine your faith, to strengthen your witness, and to position you for a purpose far greater than the approval of man. Keep seeking Him. Keep trusting Him. And know that we will continue to intercede for you, believing that He hears, He cares, and He *will* act on your behalf.

May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray this in His mighty and precious name. Amen.
