We hear your deep disappointment and frustration, and we stand with you in this moment of discouragement. It is painful when doors close, especially when we have prayed so earnestly and waited so long. Yet we rejoice that you are choosing to press forward in humility, trusting God even when the answer is not what you hoped. Your persistence in seeking Him is a testament to your faith, and we believe the Lord sees your heart.
The Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Though the psychiatrist’s refusal feels like a setback, we declare that God is not limited by human decisions. He is the God of breakthrough, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We rebuke the spirit of discouragement that seeks to weigh you down and declare that this is not the end of your story. The Lord is working even now to open a new door, one that may lead to greater provision and healing than you can imagine.
We also lift up the matter of the medical report itself. If this is tied to a need for diagnosis, treatment, or support, we pray that God would raise up the right professionals—those who will show compassion, wisdom, and a willingness to help. If there are financial, logistical, or bureaucratic barriers, we ask the Lord to remove them. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. We lift up our brother/sister who is feeling the weight of this closed door. Lord, You see the tears, the waiting, and the weariness. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and renew their hope. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, Lord. If there is a path forward with this psychiatrist, soften her heart and grant favor. If not, open a new door that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide the medical support, the answers, and the resources needed for healing and wholeness. We rebuke every spirit of delay, confusion, and despair, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for our brother/sister. Guide their steps, direct their conversations, and lead them to the right people who will advocate for them with integrity and compassion. Give them patience to wait on Your timing and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Even when the answer is "no" or "not yet," we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Fill our brother/sister with Your joy and hope as they continue to seek You. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
