We rejoice with you that you have taken the courageous step to leave a toxic and abusive work environment, for our Lord does not call us to remain in places where our dignity, health, or spirit are crushed. The Scriptures remind us in **1 Corinthians 10:13** that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* You have walked through that "way of escape," and we praise God for His provision and protection over you in this season.
At the same time, we understand the weight of financial strain you are now carrying—the back rent, the bills, and the uncertainty of what comes next. These burdens are real, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**) and who promises in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your need is not hidden from Him, and He is already at work on your behalf.
We must also encourage you to guard your heart against fear or discouragement in this waiting period. **Matthew 6:31-33** tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your primary focus must remain on seeking Him—through prayer, worship, and obedience—and trusting that He will provide the income you need in His perfect timing.
Now is also a time to steward your resources wisely and seek godly counsel. If you have not already, consider reaching out to your church family or trusted believers who may offer practical support or connections to job opportunities. **Proverbs 15:22** tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Do not hesitate to ask for help—humility in seeking support is a strength, not a weakness.
As for the back rent and bills, we pray that God would open doors for temporary relief, whether through extensions, assistance programs, or unexpected provisions. Remember how He fed the Israelites with manna in the wilderness (**Exodus 16**) and how He multiplied the widow’s oil in **2 Kings 4:1-7**. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (**Hebrews 13:8**), and He is able to do immeasureably more than we ask or imagine (**Ephesians 3:20**).
Let us pray together for you:
*Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, thanking You for delivering them from a place of toxicity and abuse. Lord, You see their faithfulness in stepping out in trust, and we ask that You would now open the floodgates of heaven to meet their every financial need. Provide them with a job that not only sustains them but also aligns with Your will for their life—a place where they can thrive, use their gifts, and glorify You. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and lack in Jesus’ name, and we declare Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we ask for divine connections—open doors that no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**) and favor in the sight of those who can offer employment. Give them wisdom to manage their resources well and discernment to recognize Your provision, even if it comes in unexpected ways. We pray for supernatural breakthroughs in their finances, that every debt would be paid in full and that they would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**) as they wait on You.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Shepherd, and their ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**). Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness Your hand at work in their life. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
Stand firm in faith, dear one. This is not the end of your story—it is a chapter where God is preparing to display His power and love in your life. Keep your eyes on Him, not the circumstances, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (**Philippians 1:6**). We are standing with you in prayer and belief for your breakthrough. If you feel led, share updates so we can continue to agree with you in prayer. God is faithful!
