We hear your heart’s cry, your pain, your anger, your longing for justice, healing, and restoration. You have endured deep wounds: betrayal, abandonment, and even assault. You have stood firm in declaring your worth and your children’s, and you have called out sin where it has taken root. We stand with you in this moment, lifting your voice before the throne of God, for He hears the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

First, we must address the foundation of all things: Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). It is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that we are redeemed, forgiven, and made new. You have mentioned the blood of Jesus, and we rejoice in that truth! But redemption is not just a concept, it is a person, and His name is Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive Him as Lord. This is the first and most vital step in walking in true freedom and victory.

Now, let us address the pain you have carried. You have been wronged, deeply. Your marriage covenant was broken, your trust shattered, and your family left vulnerable. The Bible is clear: marriage is a sacred bond between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). When a spouse abandons this covenant, it is a grievous sin. You are right to call it what it is: adultery, betrayal, and a violation of God’s design. We rebuke the spirit of unfaithfulness and deception that has operated in this situation. The Lord sees your tears, and He will repay (Jeremiah 30:17).

You have also spoken of forgiveness. This is a command from God, not an option (Matthew 6:14-15). But forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or pretending it didn’t happen. It means releasing the offender to God’s justice and refusing to let bitterness take root in your heart. You have said, “I forgive you, but I am mad at you.” That is understandable. Forgiveness is a process, and it is okay to acknowledge your anger while still choosing to release it to God. He is your defender (Psalm 35:23).

You have also mentioned desires for provision, protection, and a godly spouse. These are not wrong in themselves, God delights in blessing His children (Psalm 37:4). But we must examine the motives and methods behind these desires. The Bible warns against seeking after worldly things (1 John 2:15-17) or trying to manipulate circumstances through “uncommon favor” or declarations outside of God’s will. Instead, we are called to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add all these things to us (Matthew 6:33).

Regarding relationships, we must be clear: God’s design is for marriage to be between one man and one woman, entered into as a lifelong covenant (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are seeking a spouse, pray for a godly man, one who loves the Lord, honors marriage, and will cherish you and your children. Courtship should be pure, with the goal of marriage, not just companionship. Any sexual relationship outside of marriage is fornication, and it grieves the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We encourage you to pursue holiness in this area, trusting God to bring the right man in His perfect timing.

You have also expressed a desire for justice and restitution. The Bible says, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord” (Romans 12:19). You do not need to take matters into your own hands, God sees, and He will act. However, if there are legal or financial obligations (such as child support), we encourage you to pursue those through the proper channels, always with a spirit of integrity and without malice.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. Lord, we lift up this precious daughter of Yours. You see her pain, her anger, her longing for justice and restoration. You know the betrayal she has endured, the abandonment, the assaults on her body and spirit. Father, we ask that You would heal her broken heart (Psalm 147:3). Pour out Your love and peace upon her. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her worth is not defined by what others have done to her.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of unfaithfulness, deception, and abandonment that has operated in her marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for justice and restitution, that all that has been stolen from her would be restored sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31). If there are legal or financial matters that need to be addressed, we ask that You would give her wisdom, favor, and the resources to pursue them in a way that honors You.

Father, we ask that You would guard her heart from bitterness and unforgiveness. Help her to release her ex-husband and all who have wronged her into Your hands. Let her walk in the freedom that comes from forgiveness, even as she acknowledges the pain. We declare that she is not a victim, but a victor in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37).

Lord, we pray for her children. You have entrusted them to her care, and we ask that You would strengthen their bond. Protect their hearts from the wounds of divorce and abandonment. Let them see Your love and faithfulness through their mother. We declare that no one will block their relationship with her, and that they will grow up to know and serve You.

Father, we also lift up her desires for provision and a godly spouse. We ask that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). If it is Your will for her to remarry, we pray that You would bring a godly man into her life, one who loves You, honors marriage, and will cherish her and her children. Until then, help her to find her completeness in You (Colossians 2:10).

Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her in her career and finances. Give her wisdom as she pursues her real estate license and any other endeavors. Let her walk in integrity and excellence, so that her life would be a testimony to Your goodness.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. Let her find her identity in Christ, not in her circumstances. Fill her with Your peace, joy, and hope. Remind her that she is redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and that no curse or weapon formed against her can prosper. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Him who loves her (Romans 8:37).

Encouragement and Guidance:
Sister, you are not alone. The Lord sees your pain, and He is fighting for you. We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, not just asking for things, but listening to God’s voice. He has a plan for you, a plan for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also encourage you to seek godly community. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith.

Regarding your desires for a spouse, we encourage you to wait on the Lord. Do not settle for less than God’s best. Pray for discernment, and let the Holy Spirit guide you. Remember, marriage is a covenant, not just a relationship. It should be entered into with reverence and a commitment to God’s design.

Lastly, we want to gently address the tone and language in your post. While we understand your anger and pain, the Bible calls us to speak with grace and seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6). Even in our righteous anger, we must guard our words, for they have power (Proverbs 18:21). We encourage you to release your ex-husband to God’s justice and trust that He will deal with him. Your words should reflect the love and grace of Christ, even toward those who have wronged you.

You are redeemed, beloved, and victorious in Christ. Walk in that truth, and let it define your future. The best is yet to come!

We hear so much pain behind your words, and we want to sit with you in that for a moment. The loss of a marriage, the weight of raising children alone, the broken trust, these are deep wounds. It makes complete sense that you would feel anger, that you would want to see the wrongs made right, and that part of you still cries out for the life you wish you had.

What we've seen over the years is that the end of a marriage is very much like a death. It takes time and more energy than anyone expects to walk through the grief. And when betrayal or injustice is involved, the natural anger can stay hot for a long time. You said you forgive him, but your heart is clearly still carrying the hurt. That's not a failure on your part. Emotional forgiveness, the kind where the pain gradually loses its grip, is a process that unfolds slowly, not a single decision. The anger you still feel when you think about him isn't proof that you haven't forgiven; it's proof you were deeply wounded. That's your heart remembering what you suffered, the way your body instinctively flinches from a hot stove even after the burn has healed.

What seems most pressing right now is finding some steady ground for you and your children. You're trying to rebuild your life in multiple directions at once: a new job, a new home, caring for your kids and pets. That's a tremendous weight to carry alone. For the immediate need of safety for the car you want to buy, having an independent mechanic check it out before you commit is the kind of practical wisdom that protects you from hidden problems like rolled-back miles. It's not a small detail, it's a way of guarding yourself as you move forward.

Lord Jesus, we come with this hurting daughter who feels so deeply the sting of being wronged and the pressure to hold everything together. You see her, you see her children and her pets, and you know every tear. Bring her real shelter, real provision, and real peace that isn't dependent on getting everything she feels owed. Calm the storm inside her chest today. Surround her family with your safety, and give her a moment of rest from the fight. In your name we ask this. Amen.

The tongue that cries "I am redeemed from all curses" yet in the same breath hurls curses upon another soul speaks a language that is not of the new birth. What is this mixture of pleading the blood of Jesus and demanding a "pimphand"? What is this claiming of heavenly favor while breathing out threats and unforgiveness? The heart is a fountain, and the stream that flows from it reveals its nature. If the fountain is cleansed by Christ, the waters will be sweet, not bitter.

You speak much of redemption, but have you understood its greatness? Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, the Just for the unjust. That redemption delivers from the guilt and the punishment of sin, but it also delivers from the power and the love of sin. It breaks the chains of bitterness, it kills the venom of revenge, it heals the wounds of unforgiveness. A soul truly bought with that precious blood cannot hold another soul in the prison of its own resentment, for it knows the immensity of the debt it has itself been forgiven. You cry out for a dog, a car, a nose-piercing, a man, a secret address, and these are the leaves, the little things, you bring before the Throne as if the King of Heaven were a merchant of trinkets. But the healing leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, not for the satisfying of every carnal whim. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, but that healing is for the soul sick with sin, not for the appetites of the flesh clamoring for more.

You speak of the Lord moving you as a gift, yet you demand your own will with a vehemence that drowns out the still small voice. The high tree, the proud spirit that exalts itself, will be brought low. The green tree that trusts in its own strength will dry up. But the dry tree, the soul that knows its own barrenness and casts itself wholly upon divine grace, that tree shall flourish. The Lord lifts up the low tree; He does not exalt the demanding, the vengeful, the unforgiving. Your prayer is a catalogue of earthly desires mixed with a spirit of accusation. But where is the cry for a clean heart? Where is the plea for a right spirit? Where is the confession of your own sin in this broken covenant? You speak of being a gift, but a gift is given; it does not seize. You speak of being a queen, but the Queen of the kingdom of grace is she who washes the feet of the saints with her tears, not she who demands her rights with clenched fists.

The redemption you need is not first from poverty or loneliness or the loss of a dog, but from the tyranny of self. Christ gave Himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity, to purify unto Himself a peculiar people. That redemption is plenteous; it covers every atom of transgression. But it does not leave the redeemed soul wallowing in the mire of old hatreds. The curse you feel from your circumstances may be the very plough of the Husbandman breaking up your fallow ground, that you might seek not His handouts but His face. He was made a curse for us, hanging on the tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us. That blessing is not a Dodge Charger; it is the promise of the Spirit through faith. It is peace with God, a new nature, the dying of the old man with his passions and lusts.

Look to Him who was uplifted for you. There is life in that look, life from the poison of sin. The healing for your broken heart is not found in the restoration of all things just as you demand them, but in the pardon that flows from His wounds. Let the Sun of Righteousness arise upon you with healing in His wings, and that healing will burn away the fever of your wrath. It will make you able to say from the heart, "Father, forgive them," even as your Lord did. Until then, your "I forgive you" is but a shell with the kernel of unforgiveness still whole within. The joy of redemption is not in getting your secret address and your houseboat; it is in knowing your name is written in heaven, and that the very hairs of your head are numbered by a Father who gave His Son for you. Let this mind be in you. Go and tell of His great redemption, but first let it redeem your own tongue from the language of the pit.
