We hear your cry for provision and restoration, and we stand with you in faith, lifting these needs before the throne of grace. However, we must gently correct some misunderstandings in how you are approaching God’s promises. While Scripture affirms that God is our Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7), we do not "speak things into existence" or "demand" blessings as if we control God. He is sovereign, and His will is perfect, even when His timing differs from ours.

The Bible teaches us to pray with humility, asking in faith but also trusting His wisdom. Jesus taught us to pray, "Give us today our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11), not to decree or command provision. We must also remember that God often provides through practical means, work, stewardship, and wisdom, while we trust Him for the outcome.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Provider. You know the needs of Your child, financial provision, shelter, and basic necessities. We ask that You meet these needs according to Your riches in glory. Lord, open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in managing resources, and provide in ways that glorify You. We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear, declaring that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Strengthen faith, remove anxiety, and help us to trust in Your perfect timing. May Your name be praised in every blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing finances, exploring assistance programs, and trusting God’s provision through both supernatural means and practical steps. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9), not by our own declarations or works.

Continue to seek Him, study His Word, and walk in obedience. He is faithful to His promises.

Sometimes when the gap between what we need and what we have feels enormous, our words can start to strain toward commanding rather than asking. You’re not wrong to bring these things before God boldly, but we’ve found that the deepest relief comes when we set down the effort to “speak into existence” and instead rest our needs in the hands of a Father who already knows them. He isn’t holding out on you; He delights to provide for His children. That quiet trust can replace a frantic urgency with a steady peace, even while you wait.

In the meantime, we’d encourage you to let the body of Christ practically surround you. If the toilet, sink, shower, and bathtub aren’t working right now, your local church or a community assistance program may be able to connect you with someone who can help repair or get essential services turned back on. Sometimes God meets these needs through the hands of His people, so please don’t hesitate to ask for that hands-on support.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear person who is pressing forward with hard work and strong desire. You see the broken utilities, the financial weight, and the longing for stability. We ask for relief to come, through open doors, skilled help, and provision that meets the genuine daily needs. Calm any anxious striving with the certainty that You are good, You are near, and You will supply what is truly needed. In Your name, amen.

It pierces the heart with sorrow to read such a string of demands, spoken as if the Almighty were a servant to our whims. "I speak life create claim control command declare demand decree edit into existence", what is this but the babbling of one who has heard of God by the hearing of the ear, yet has never seen Him in the terror of His holiness? Job said, "Now my eye sees You; wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes." That is the language of a soul truly in the presence of Jehovah, not a catalogue of earthly comforts to be claimed, but a humble mouth stopped in the dust. You cry for money, solar power, running water, yet in all this, Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly when every earthly prop was removed. Beware lest your own lips bear witness against you, charging God with neglect if He does not bow to your decrees.

Shall we command the Lord to bestow refrigerators and air conditioners as if He were a genie bound by our blood-bought words? The Precious Blood of Jesus was shed to cleanse us from sin, to reconcile us to God, not to secure solar panels. To invoke that sacred fountain for such trifles is to cast pearls before swine. God creates the darkness as well as the light; He sends poverty as well as wealth, sickness as well as health. If He withholds these temporal moons, it is that you might look to the Sun of Righteousness alone. What if your glory, like Job's, grows stale? What if the vigor of your enterprises fails? The question is not whether your quarters have running water, but whether your soul is washed in the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness.

There is yet hope. The captivity of Job was turned when he prayed for his friends, not when he demanded his comforts. Cease this vain repetition of "greatly" and "forevermore," and instead weep before the Lord for your own soul, and then weep for others in their misery. Ask not for a second job merely to meet needs, but cry, "God be merciful to me a sinner!" Then shall your strength, like Samson's, begin to grow again, not in commanding earthly goods, but in consecration to your Lord. The power of the Holy Ghost is not given to gratify our lust for ease; it is the power to endure, to witness, to suffer with patience. Look unto Jesus, who went about doing good, who had not where to lay His head, yet gave Himself for your eternal redemption. Seek first His kingdom, and these things shall be added, not by your decree, but by His gracious and sovereign hand. Let your only speech be, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him."

You speak of redemption from not having money, from not having this and that for your quarters, as if these were the great battles. But what does our warfare truly consist of? This is the time the prophets foretold, the Kingdom come near, not in the abundance of things, but in the casting out of a stronger enemy. It is impossible that Satan should be strong now; he must of absolute necessity be weak. And yet you treat your struggle as being against a lack of solar power or running water, while the actual war is within. Without were fightings, within were fears, and it must needs be that offenses and difficulties come, but it is not a necessary consequence that he who gives heed should be destroyed by them.

That belly which is hungered after just enough does not generate unseemly lusts, but luxury is fuel for unreasonable desires. When you cry out for your needs to be met greatly, take care that this does not become a provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. A life relaxed by the constant pursuit of comfort generates worms, while soil freed from excessive dampness bears fruit. The true need, the honor that touches us, is to cultivate the field of our soul.

Begin at home with what is easier. When a disorderly situation annoys and angers you, when you are galled by what you lack, practice not being tempted into demanding and swearing. This is the heavenly seed to cast in. The mystical birth of baptism cleansed us from former sins, but to remain pure, never to admit the stain of covetousness and impatience, belongs to our own power and diligence. God’s part is to give the grace; ours is to supply faith and earnest effort.

The evil day is short; you must needs stand. Put on the whole armor of God, not the armor of declarations and commands over created things. If you thus cultivate yourself, plucking out these thorns of grasping, the Husbandman will come and lay you up in His garner. Let us imitate Priscilla whose ecomium was not that her quarters were comfortable, but that she rendered assistance to the herald of the world. The summit of good deeds is there, not in air conditioning. That is how honor is rendered by works, a life worthy of the Gospel.

Your prayer request reveals a heart crying out for provision, and I understand the weight of financial strain, the exhaustion of working multiple jobs, and the frustration of things breaking down around you. But when I read words like "speak," "create," "command," and "decree," it sounds like the teaching that tries to harness some creative power through your own declarations, as if your words can force material things into existence. That kind of thinking can work for people in the world who follow those principles, because it taps into something human that craves control. But it’s a power trip, not a pathway to the living God.

Jesus never taught us to use His name as a formula to demand money, solar panels, or plumbing repairs. He taught us to pray, "Your will be done." The issue is never God’s power, He can do anything. The question is His willingness, and that flows from His wisdom and love. When the leper came to Jesus, he didn’t decree his own healing; he said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." He trusted the power but surrendered to the will. That’s the posture of faith.

I understand the desire to see needs met greatly. But the power of God is not a tool to get what we want; it’s the reality of a transformed life. Through the cross, Jesus broke Satan’s authority over you completely. The enemy has no hold unless you let him bully you into fear and unbelief. But that victory doesn’t mean we now command God like a genie. It means we rest in His care, resist the anxiety that whispers we have to take control, and trust that our Father knows what we need before we ask.

There is a more excellent way, the path of love. I spent years fasting and praying for power to work miracles, until the Lord made it clear to me that love is the greater prize. Your needs are real, and He sees them. Work your second job with diligence, bring your requests to Him with thanksgiving, and let His peace rule in your heart. He left room to work miracles if He chooses, but even if He doesn’t fix every earthly problem instantly, your redemption is already secure. The blood of Jesus forevermore means you are His, and He will supply what is ultimately best. Seek His kingdom first, and trust Him with the rest.
