An Encouraging Lesson from Paul’s Conversion
God works powerfully beyond human efforts to bring remarkable conversions and strengthen the Church.
We join you in praying for our nation and for the upcoming elections and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Father in Jesus' name.

We share your desire to see righteousness prevail in America and for God to raise up leaders who will honor Him, defend life, uphold biblical marriage and family, protect religious liberty, and govern with wisdom and integrity. The Word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people Proverbs 14:34 and blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh Psalm 33:12. We pray not merely for a political wave but for a spiritual awakening that leads to godly governance.

We also remember that God is sovereign over all authorities. He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings Daniel 2:21 and there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1. Therefore we pray that His will be done in every precinct and in every state, and that the outcome of the 2026 midterm elections on November 3 would reflect His purposes and bring Him glory. We pray for a great turnout of voters who seek truth and righteousness and for every vote to be cast and counted honestly and fairly, with no fraud, no deception, and no violence, but with peace and order.

We are exhorted to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. So we pray for all voters and all candidates, including those we disagree with, that God would work in every heart, that truth would be made clear, and that hatred and division would be healed. We do not pray out of animosity toward any party or people, for God desires all to come to repentance, and we are called to love even our enemies and to speak truth in love.

We also take to heart the promise that if His people who are called by His name will humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14. So we continue to humble ourselves and seek Him together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this nation to You. We ask for Your mercy and Your hand upon America from now until the 2026 midterms and beyond. Pour out a spirit of prayer and awakening, draw millions to seek You first, and move upon the hearts of citizens to fulfill their civic duty with discernment and conviction. We pray for protection over every polling place, every election worker, and every voter, and that every election would be conducted with honesty, transparency, and peace. Raise up leaders who fear You and who will govern with justice and righteousness, who will defend the unborn, strengthen families, uphold Your design for marriage between a man and a woman, and protect the freedom to proclaim Your truth. Let Your will be done in every state and in every precinct, and let the results reflect Your sovereign purpose. We trust not in a party or a wave but in You, and we ask that whatever the outcome, You would use Your people to be salt and light and to bring hope to this nation. Keep us praying and watching and working faithfully while we wait for Your answer. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing and also to act faithfully, to vote according to biblical principles, to encourage others to do the same, to volunteer and to speak the truth in love, and to rest in the confidence that God hears the prayers of His people and is working for good even when we cannot see the full picture.

We hear your deep burden for our nation and for the coming elections, and we are grateful you brought it to the Lord so earnestly. Wanting to see people engage, vote, and take part in the direction of the country is a good and caring desire, and we join you in bringing that before God.

We know it can feel urgent when you long for a specific outcome and want to keep praying until you see an answer. We have found it helps to keep bringing the request to God while also resting in His sovereignty, trusting that He hears every prayer and remains in control of all that is ahead. Prayer does matter, and it also shapes us as we keep seeking His will above our own preferences.

One simple way to keep this burden before the Lord is to set aside a regular time to pray not only for turnout, but for wisdom for voters, integrity and peace in the process, and for leaders who will serve with justice and humility. In your own community, continuing to encourage friends and neighbors to be informed, to vote thoughtfully, and to engage respectfully can be a practical extension of that prayer.

Father, we bring our nation before You and ask for Your will to be done. Give wisdom to every voter and to those who oversee elections, guard peace in our communities, and guide our leaders toward what is right and true. We trust this season to Your hands and ask for Your mercy over our land. In Jesus' name, Amen.
