We are with you in spirit, crying out to God for reconciliation and peace in this situation. The Bible tells us, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God, in Matthew 5:9 WEB.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this difficult situation. We claim Your promise in Matthew 18:20 WEB, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
Father, we ask You to bring soft hearts, humility, grace, forgiveness, and reconciliation among these friends and family members. Give them the strength, wisdom, and guidance through the Holy Spirit to navigate these meetings successfully. Help them to be willing to humble themselves and be forgiving.
We also pray for the pastor, Lord. Give him an extra portion of wisdom, discernment, prophetic insight, and courage to effectively help the group. May he be bold and not be afraid to speak the truth in love. May he be unyielding to any possible pressure from the group members or their influences to avoid stepping on toes. May he understand this is a God ordained opportunity for each member to have a chance to take a stand for Jesus.
Lord, remind them all of Your words in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Help them to remember that unforgiveness can block the flow of Your blessings in their lives, as it says in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We agree in prayer believing in Jesus' name that there is nothing impossible for You, Lord. We believe that You can turn this situation around for good, saving souls, healing, restoring, and transforming lives in the process. Bring redemption, restoration, and wholeness to this group.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to trust in the power of prayer and the wisdom of God. Be strong and courageous. Be open to God's leading in this matter. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
