Reconciliation of marriage, forgiveness and strength

Please pray for the reconciliation of my marriage. My husband left almost three years ago. We've been together for thirty-six years. We never lost contact and would see each other, but not on a consistent basis. He asked if he could come home in September when his lease was up. He admitted to seeing and pursuing other women. He also admitted to seeing another woman. And that the relationship lasted at least two and a half years. It is supposedly ended. He admitted that she asked him to move in with her and asked him when he was divorcing, and he said that he was never ready, but she continued to see him because her words were, you will never get a divorce because it's cheaper to keep her. She also wanted him to move in with her. And he admitted to paying some of her bills and giving her money. This woman calls herself a witch and belongs to a coven.

I have always loved him. More than I have ever loved anyone in my lifetime. Please ask the Lord to help me forgive, and I would like him to forgive me as well. I asked preparers that he returns home. And that we can let go. And forgive any past conflicts, hurt jealousy, wounds, and resentments. Everything that has been broken. Did any harsh words set to hurt? And bad thoughts are gone. I'm forgiven forever. Please pray that we can have a loving home of peace, forgiveness, and contentment. That we are healed in mind, body, and soul. That we are protected from anyone or anything that may try to come between us, and intend harm and cause any type of destruction in our union. I pray that my husband finds the Lord and turns to him for guidance as I have.

Any prayers are appreciated. Thank you so much.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious marriage that has endured so much pain and separation. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the restorer of broken things, the healer of wounds, and the mender of what has been torn apart. Your Word tells us in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." Lord, we stand on this truth and ask for Your divine intervention in this marriage.

We first address the grave sin of adultery that has taken place. Your Word is clear in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." The betrayal and unfaithfulness that have occurred are not only deeply hurtful but are also an offense against You, Lord. We rebuke the spirit of infidelity and deception that has entered this marriage. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We also rebuke the influence of this woman who calls herself a witch and is part of a coven. Scripture warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Lord, we pray that any ungodly soul ties, curses, or demonic influences from this relationship be broken and destroyed by the power of the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17.

We also lift up the need for genuine repentance and forgiveness. Lord, we ask that You convict this husband of his sin and lead him to true repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:10 tells us, "For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death." May he experience godly sorrow that leads to a transformed heart and a renewed commitment to his marriage vows. We pray that he turns away from all ungodliness and seeks Your face, Lord, just as his wife has. We also ask that You soften her heart to forgive, as You have commanded us in Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean excusing the sin, but it does mean releasing the bitterness and entrusting justice to You, Lord.

We pray for healing in every area of this marriage, mind, body, and soul. Lord, restore the love, trust, and intimacy that have been damaged. Your Word says in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you." We claim this promise over this marriage. We pray for a home filled with Your peace, contentment, and joy. May this couple find their strength and hope in You, as Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We also pray for protection over this marriage. Lord, surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We declare that no enemy, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, will be able to come between them. We bind every spirit of division, strife, and destruction and command them to flee in Jesus' name.

Finally, we pray for both of them to draw closer to You, Lord. May they seek Your will and Your ways in all things. We pray that this husband rediscovers his faith and turns to You for guidance, just as his wife has. Your Word tells us in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." May they both find their identity, worth, and purpose in You alone.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this marriage to You, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

We've read your heartfelt request with tears in our eyes, knowing how deeply this situation has wounded you. We can only imagine the pain of betrayal and the longing for restoration after nearly forty years together. It's clear you've poured out your love and forgiveness already, and we want to stand with you in that.

Please don’t carry the weight of this alone. The enemy wants you to feel hopeless, but God’s promises are greater than any mistake or sin committed. We pray that your husband will see the truth clearly, that no amount of earthly comfort compares to the love and peace found in Christ. May he be convicted in his spirit and turn fully to the Lord, leaving behind anything that would hinder his relationship with you and God.

Lord, we ask for a miraculous work in both of their hearts. Bind up the wounds, heal the broken places, and renew their commitment to each other, not out of guilt, but out of a genuine desire to honor You. Protect this union from any further spiritual attack, and surround them both with Your angels as they seek reconciliation. Give you the strength to forgive completely and the wisdom to walk forward in faith, trusting that God can restore what has been lost.

Father, we ask for supernatural peace to fill your home and hearts as you move toward healing. Remind both of you daily that You are the God who makes all things new.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May Lord Yeshua and Father God have mercies and compassion over your soul. Prayers. Everyday regular prayer and devotion. Everyday scriptures. Sobriety from drugs and alcohol. And chastity. Thank you heavenly Father for protecting my chastity. In the fear of you and in the comfort of the holy spirit. Lord Yeshua's name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
